  1. Thank you my feathered friend Now... heheh I've been a busy bee. The Lycan is born!
  2. It's here! https://www.gayauthors.org/eficiton/viewsto...5&chapter=3 Hope you like! Please place comments and criticisms here. Thanks!
  3. Thank you much Graeme!!! By the way... it is your fault you know... ALL YOUR FAULT!
  4. (I just got done reading the newest chapters) One word Camy MORE! I freaking love it! I need to get me a tutor! This is definately... INTENSE!
  5. I would have to say... of all the idiotic signs and warnings I've seen... BUMP is at the top of my list. In Illinois, they don't fix the bumps in the road. They spend the equivalent of money for a sign, that says "BUMP AHEAD". Then... when you got to the bump... Another sign is planted in the ground. "BUMP" with an arrow pointing to the ground. UHHHHH. HELLO!!!!!!
  6. I was serious about (Anne Rice) A. N. Roquelaure and the Sleeping Beauty series. If you haven't read it... GET IT! It is so twisted it boggles the mind! I LOVED IT! It's an S&M twist of the Sleeping Beauty story I'm sure Disney never intended. How she got away with it without being sued... I will never know. This story... should be sold and placed in a brown paper bag! Yeah... it's that good
  7. Happy birthday!!! I hope it's a good one!
  8. Amazing! Will you have your own show soon where you talk to the dead?! LOL Graeme... The Goat Whisperer Nahhh maybe not ---- Where's my next chapter Goat! Don't make me get the vaseline and the camera out again!
  9. It might be easier to do as I have done in the Druid... and label the chapters after plant names.. as for characters... hmmm I don't know. If there is enough contrast to the names then I think it could work! It really depends on the story. I LOVE Hyacinth! Especially when she gets near the Vicker! Heheh Hello... Bouquet (Bucket) residence!
  10. Thank you goat! I'm glad you liked it I wonder... do we all have that duality in our mind that tries to keep us in check?
  11. LOL Don't feel bad. I've been sitting here thinking to myself... I wonder how long it will take Sharon to get through with chapter 2 of MR, but just realized... heheheh I don't think I've sent it to her yet! WOO HOO! Bleach my hair and call me blond! Wait never mind... I'm just too messed up in the head to remember sending it. I found it... hmmm Drain Bamage!
  12. They are very different stories with a common ending I think too different to combine. The story would be massive and hard to follow. Consider it like, Interview with a Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned Fey... Fairy folk! Well... it'll be a challenge Each story should be able to stand on it's own, and only the ending be in one. If someone would like to take up 'The Lycan' or 'The Fey' well... give me a yell! There are only a couple of things that have to 'meet' in the stories. Otherwise the intention is to keep them completely separate. I've tried to keep the characters of 'the druid' and 'midnight's rainbow' very separate. Thus the reason for asking if anyone else out there is interested in helping out. I don't know if I am creative enough to keep these unique from each other. It's been a stretch for me in MR. Anyway... it's just a peak into my twisted little mind lol Take care! ----- edit ----- Okay, I'm going to try to expand on this a little in hopes of gleening a little more interest. There are essentially 4 stories here. The Fey, The Lycan, The Druid, and finally Midnight's Rainbow. They can be anything! However, they end at the same battlefield (before) the fight begins. Midnight's rainbow... well it a separate story just like the others, but also includes the ending for all 4. The Druid... well that would be the small point of cross over. Ty and Brian(Bry) meet with each group at some point to build the 'army' to fight against the forces behind the veil. I've already established this in the story. The other point... well.. was to duplicate The Fey, The Lycan, and The Druid on other servers and lead them back to GA for the final book so to speak. As I've said... MR will only be posted here! This is why other than the meetings with Ty & Bry, and the final setting, there would be next to NO collaboration needed Though... hopefully at that point... everyone would want to chip in and build the final 2 or 3 chapters of MR! I can do this alone and have already started, but I suspect it would be SO much better with help! It would go a lot quicker with help as well. Anyway, I thought I'd give you a little more insight into what I'm doing here without giving any spoilers. Any takers?
  13. Well... the whole point would be that it is 4 separate stories, but I certainly see where you're going with the continuity issues. The ending would have to be written first. Straub and King managed to create 'The Talisman'. I just thought it would be interesting to try something similar here. It's no biggie really. I can continue on my own... it'll just take longer. lol I guess I should get busy... I've a lot of words to write. Take care!
  14. Okay... I'm one person. I'm looking for help here. My intention is to write four separate stories the blend and culminate in 'Midnight's Rainbow' The Druid... The Lycan... The Fey... And finally... Midnight's Rainbow. As it will come soon.. Slegna tears make Fey, Slegna seed makes Lycans, Slegna blood, makes vampires. This is what I have been working on lately. I could probaby do this alone, but I don't think it would be nearly as good without a collaborative effort. You each have your specialties and you are damn good at it. Are we allowed to do something like this? I guess a better question would be... are any of you interested in hopping on this train? I want the stories to be separate until they merge at the end.
  15. They're evil like that you know. Editors expecting us to actually write before they read the work. It's insidious I say! A PLOT to undermine us poor writers and postaholics... Yes... I know you're in the denial stage... we'll have the intervention next week. Mark it on your calendar. Lurker ::cough:: uhh... yeah.... DENIAL!
  16. That would be the responsibility of the writer. I've already made arrangements in case that should ever happen. My best friend Jeana has my passwords etc should it ever arise and need announced. (god I hope she never has to use them.)
  17. I was just thinking something very similar. How is it... what most people consider a third world country, can have such a new age consideration for equal rights. The rest of us need to catch up! It's almost embarrassing that the US is so slow to adopt this obvious concession to equality. Here the nation was supposed to be 'built' on 'by the people/for the people'. And yet, here we sit. Gay bashing, and a never ending litany of bigotry and hate. It's sad.
  18. Thank you Lugh! Those are great!
  19. LOL I understand what you're saying, but I wanted it true to life, and in my head, yeah... that's almost verbatim what I was thinking at the time. You're right though, there isn't a lot of plot. It's only what the title suggests. A blizzard of my thoughts. It's not a conventional story by any means, and a bit too long to be posting in a blog, so, I did a little experimenting and decided ... what the heck... let's give it a go. I'm happy for the 6 Thanks Captainrick! I hope that you got a good laugh out of it. I'm sure there are others that have left to work sleepy eyed and cursing themselves for getting trapped in someone else's great story. ROAD RAGE! This is why I keep the things in my head and not flying out of my mouth most times. Driving in heavy traffic is such a pain in the ass! I censor most things I say. I can't imagine what the world would be like if we all went around saying every thought that crossed our minds. There would definately be a lot of very upset people in the world. Thanks for taking it in the tone it was meant. Take care!
  20. I really liked chapter 3. It's sweet, and there were some tense moments. I'm glad the characters are getting to know each other, but still have that 'realistic' zest for sex. They're 17! We're lucky they even left the condo! I am curious to see what the cliffhanger will bring now Is someone fix'n to get their ass beat? Good stuff Captainrick! Now.. MORE! lol Take care!
  21. I was originally going to submit this as my Blizzard anthology, but honestly, it just doesn
  22. Happy Thanksgiving all! If you are somewhere that is not celebrating. Take a moment and think about something that makes you smile. Take care!
  23. Dabeagle.com Legal stuff: Authors retain rights to and title to their submitted works. By submitting a work, the author grants Dabeagle's Doghouse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and non-cancelable license to display the work. (If this is unacceptable, please contact us to discuss your concern. They have a similar catch22 so to speak as nifty. Though I did email them about it, and here was the reply. "We have removed stories before due to publication. We do not own the stories and make no claim to them, all we require is a respectful dialogue and reasonable reasoning and open dialogue. I'd hate for someone to say they were printing, only to post it elsewhere :-) So yes, a simple note requesting removal due to publication would be acceptable." They seem reasonable. I've had a lot of luck with Nifty. They've even gone so far as to repost and eight chapter re-write of the story. Deleting a story from an archive takes all of about 3 minutes MAX. Ftp in... move to the correct directory, and hit 'DELETE'. Done! If you have concerns about having your work held hostage. I'd suggest writing them an email and asking them specifically what their policy is when a story removal request is given. I've recently heard from CRVBoy as well and they seem very friendly. I suppose my best advice would be, if you have questions or concerns, then ask them before you post Take care and I hope everyone has a great holiday!
  24. I'm curious about that too... though I am NOT a mechanic. It is just what we were told to do when I was in school, and I found it worked marvelously in the past. LOL I know where the oil goes.. cause it says 'oil' and I know where the gas goes. Other than what I have been taught and my experience from driving in the snow, that is all I know I have to admit though, while sitting in line at a drive through with the car in neutral, and the brake pressed for several minutes, nothing ever seemed to happen to the transmission. It still went forward when I put it back into gear.
