“Are you prepared?” Cyn checked his bag once more. Folders, notebook, texts, and pencils. Zipping it up, he hoisted it over his shoulder. He sighed and nodded. “Yes, mother. I’m ready for school.” Ivey looked him over and snorted with an expressionless face. “Remember, your change is coming soon. If you feel your head itching, you need to leave and get out of sight.” Turning, her long, brown hair followed. She handed him a paper sack from the counter. “An apple and some roasted squash.

This was bound to be a wild chapter for Cyn. From his parents breeding for survivalist sake, only being raised human because of the cernunnos' natural shifting laws. Maybe Shea should've warned Lynda to take about 15-25% off the top with her enthusiasm. Lynda is a riot! I can't wait to see what they'll bring to the table, aside from Lynda's quiche. Thanks for commenting everyone!

I've been meaning to introduce them for some time now, as it seemed awkward not having them in the picture. I love writing for Lynda! She's going to be so much fun when she's in a chapter. Thanks for commenting! Deer appetite is interesting. They're primarily herbivores, but are known for eating small game, such as birds and squirrels when given the opportunity. With Cyn being such an innocent soul, I figured he would be a pure vegetarian. Thank you so much, and thanks for commenting, JR! To be fair, a lot has gone on in his life and priorities had to take precedence. I also agree; Harold and Lynda either let him off too easy, or they had to be incredibly excited to add another member into their family. I already have a bad time with super happy/self-approaching people in my life, so I imagine Cyn must've been terrified of Lynda at first.

Life became monotonous over the next few weeks. I almost wish for a little excitement! Shea laced his shoes snugly and prepared for another morning run with Cyn and Arric. Walking down the stairs he went over the repetitive sequence he’d come to know. Wake up, get ready for the run, grab breakfast, meet with Arric, lunchtime, snuggle my pup, dinner, movie, maybe some sex, and sleep. Dismay snuck into his thoughts. Still nothing on Eike. Even Wendel’s team hasn’t found a trace of the bastar

You will never understand how hard I laughed at this! Maybe a go-kart race is in store...

Back on Ardra. It almost gives me a sense of coming home. I'm going to lose it if Mama Essell and Sonez are searching together!

Oh boy. I don't want to think about Cyn driving. That just sounds like a hot mess. Mmmm, honeymoon stage. I figured we need a natural distraction before we get into the next chapter. Halfway done, and I'm having a blast!

Pay no attention to the foot in my mouth. My mind said, "It's sad for me to be squeamish about such a thing." As the newly mated couple would say, "Bingo." Also bingo! I cackled at this.

Well, it take up to three months for antlers to full grow and start shedding, and we know my pacing for storytelling. It might be several chapters until we find out. I greatly appreciate your praise! This story has been such a blast to write. There's something about bloody antlers and dangling, fleshy strands that get me... the sad part is that it's all natural and painless for the bucks.

Who knows if Cyn will grow larger antlers. I'm not looking forward to the velvet shedding. Some pictures disturbed me... *shudders*

A week of silence went by. Cyn watched as Arric paced between the living room and his office, only deviating to be comforted by Kieran in the bedroom. Seeing the skinny wolf more often made the cernunnos smile. They seem happy! “All right, Mister Farren.” His thoughts were severed as Melinda spoke, “There’s many ways to cook an egg, but Mister Claude usually likes his fried with butter and pepper.” “How else can they be cooked?” She smiled and grabbed a decent-sized bowl from a c

Ha! I'm unashamed to call parts of my work literacy porn. Just a nice dose of distraction away from the lovey dovey stuff and the angsty drama .

Several firsts for Arric done! I wonder when roles will be reversed...

I blame my consultation with my new bisexual co-worker for such imagery.

He wasn’t sure where the passion was coming from but Arric didn’t care. All he knew was that Kieran wanted him. Clumsily, they traversed the hallway, stealing kisses and gropes along the way. By the time they entered the bedroom, Kieran already had several of Arric’s shirt buttons undone. The beta’s touch was electric! Firmer than any woman’s, but just as soft. The moment his nipples were tweaked, Arric growled. He had never been played with like this before. So sensitive! So good! Taking

Here I am... kicking and screaming at the atrocities this chapter has brought. Colt is a sick pimp, and not in the good way. The allegations of Mama Tiger being the kingpin of it all is damning, and I agree. Nameer is now in the hot seat. He needs to talk to Siku, and now!

The Making of a Werewolf
astone2292 commented on Yeoldebard's story chapter in The Making of a Werewolf

“However, this pair has now reached a crossroads. The next several days will be fraught with turmoil, and that muddies the visions of the seiðr. They may emerge on the other side of this chaos as the true Mates they are destined to be, or their pure love may shatter, destroying not only themselves, but the future of the lycan world as we know it. *** This goes beyond foreboding. We don't know enough of Siku's backstory to accurately guess how this relationship will alter the future of the lycan world. It may have been a small detail somewhere I'm forgetting, but who was Siku's Papa? This... might be the key to why Charlie is tasked with being a proverbial guardian angel to this couple. As a skillful author, I can only assume Grumpy has left some breadcrumbs along the way. But where...

Just as I was about to shut the laptop down and get ready for bed... Lovely chapter. I hope Galen gets some more information/study material before attempting a noncon experience with Reinard at home. As always, I'll anxiously wait for the next chapter!

My heart duh-ropped when Shivay's father was at the door! So elated Nameer wasn't there to cause a scene, but man his story is a sad one. This upcoming party isn't going to end well.

I love this! It seems centex borrowed my "I'm Callin' It" cap...

A kitty blessed by Viking-woman (Valkyrie?)... Someone better call Bernie. Why do I get the feeling we'll be hearing from Atikokan?
-
The blessing was certainly a surprise the entire household. The priestess has to track down Damian and Dylan? I don't like how that sounds, but I'll stay optimistic for now.

The dinner date was almost perfect. I fear the parthewon't be as friendly to Shivay as Siku thinks. My best guess: the playtime ensues and Mama Tiger finds Shivay's vehicle parked... I must reread the last several chapters. What was Shivay's job again? He describes it as "lucrative." This is concerning. I don't think Shivay is revealing all the details...
