  1. Fixed those pesky issues
  2. Yes, but when will the repercussions come?
  3. This is just weird! Looking at his empty glass, Vincent debated. I think I'm going to miss getting tipsy. On the bright side, these taste better for some reason. He was having fun with friends, old and new. Turning he glanced at Remis, Fred, and Trent. "They've been over there for a while. Must be talking about Mesker Park." Mason hummed and took the last bit of his beer. "The couple seems pretty surprised, but then again, I'd be too if I were them." The three shook hands and walk
  4. Thank you for this wonderful compliment! With this being my first adventure in writing, I wanted a more "natural" pace, both on a daily timetable and over the course of the adventure. It's not well explained, but one can assume when in a life-threatening situation, an untapped power could have risen to the occasion. I'm happy to see your enjoyment of the chapter and how it's written! -Aaron
  5. I'd say "of." Also, @Will Hawkins, you're reading Book Two first, according my notifications from your reactions

    Chapter 37

It might be a few days before the next chapter. I'm working on things for the GA Feedback Club, then a Rising in the Shadows chapter, THEN Cernunnos will be worked on! Don't worry, I'll have something posted before next week! I'm so happy you're loving this story!
  7. The sequel to Trophy Cub, we pick up Gunnar and Mike's lives almost immediately. Familiar faces come to handle a new threat to our heroes and their way of life. Vile creatures, ones missing from history reappear, and it takes everything Gunnar, Mike, and all their friends have to combat them. This story is filled with heart-pounding drama. While not to the extent of the first book in this series, it isn't for the faint of heart. Scenes involving loss of life are included and the fear of more lurks around every corner. This story will have you on the edge of your seat, gripping the cushions so hard, your significant other might make you buy a new couch. The love and humor from Trophy Cub comes along for the ride as well! These chapters can tickle your funny bone, or force you to take a cold shower. Emotion is packed into every sentence throughout this story. Another excellent piece from Grumpy Bear, and is a must-read if Trophy Cub was your cup of tea.
  8. Do you know how hard I took that sentence? Grumpy! Holy forkin' shirtballs, I thought you ripped my heart out! Continuing on, Bill is a damned hero! He and Gary will be happy for quite some time. Another brilliant story, Grumpy! I'll make sure to leave a review and recommendation.
  9. Hi, Will! I believe we've spoken before through PM in regards to my other story, Cernunnos, but I'm really glad to see your introduction! By all means, I love feedback, positive or negative, and I encourage it heavily! If there's a major issue, or several small ones, feel free to shoot me a Personal Message, and I'll be able to go fix it. I would like to mention that I've been approached by a member of our GA community and we're working on a major edit of this story. This was my first writing adventure and I'm unafraid of admitting its need of assistance. Please enjoy this story for how its written now, and I would love to see a comparison comment between the current version and its successor. I'll make this quick little edit. 👍
  10. Book One, Love in the Shadows, will be very enlightening 😄 I'm happy to see a new reader to the series!
  11. I put in the introductions more as a reminder. Some readers might stop at Book One, take a break (however long), and come back forgetting who someone was.

    Chapter 37

I'm not sure about pollen levels in Wisconsin, but they're usually high here in KY. Thanks for commenting, JR!!
  13. What a fascinating analysis of Remis, Vincent, and Cyrus! I love it! Thank you so much for commenting, Philippe! Thanks for commenting, Centex! Stuerm's underhandedness will be revealed... in due time.

  15. Mmmm, thick Irish Brogue... hmm? I'm sorry, what? Where were we? Plans are in place, my friend. Lightning will be shot... eventually.

    Chapter 37

I've been preaching for a "H&B" (Hot and Bothered) button for quite some time now. It would be very useful...

    Chapter 37

Uh oh. I think you pulled a @CincyKris. Looney Institute of Lost Marbles... that's going in the "to-write" pile... Oh, jeez! I hope no one saw you. Secondhand embarrassment is my kryptonite! Glad you enjoyed the chapter!

    Chapter 37

I'm not sure what Cyn's title would be, but I'm sure he'll be held to some sort of standard. I'll have to look up those characters! I totally didn't mean to use the name like that, but I'm glad it happened. It will always mean the world knowing that my stories bring happiness to someone. Patch, you've been reading my work since day one, and I'll never be able to thank you enough for that. I hope more happiness comes your way, bud!

    Chapter 37

Hang on a minute, let's unpack this! Tranquilized?! Should I ask? I... love terrible jokes. Keep making them! Proverbial shotgun wedding! Danners, I love your comments. They make my day so much brighter.

    Chapter 37

Thanks so much! Unlike your assumptions about your friends, making someone speechless is an accomplishment and compliment in my opinion. Glad you're having fun and enjoying the story!
  22. I think Chris and I share a brain. A fitting "end," at least until we see the Epilogue! Pip!!!!!!!! *screams* Holy crap! Wonderful job, Grumpy. Simply wonderful. I can not wait for Book Three! Are we time-jumping a bit? Time to put my cap back on: time to read about Bill (few years older, of course) and Gary's budding relationship!

    Chapter 37

As expected, the couple were locked for just over half of an hour. Shea never took his arms off Cyn. The new sense of ownership flooded his instincts. It’s almost like my transition to being a delta. I wanted to protect him then, and I sure want to now! He slipped out from Cyn’s body and pecked the deer’s neck, “Let’s get dressed, pup. We got an hour before the meeting starts.” As Shea rose, Cyn craned his head, “Are we going to shower?” “Nope, that’ll wash my scent off you. I ne
  24. Stuerm seems like the guy to do that... Thanks for commenting, Cincy!!
  25. If need be, I'll let you borrow my "I'm Callin' It" cap. It's proven useful in the past several months across the stories I've read.
