I want to make this comment loud and clear: this is, possibly, the greatest start to any sequel I've every read! I'm hooked, not only to this story, but the series and universe! Holy hell! We go from werewolves, swords, and magic... to space travel!? Not many authors can pull off such a feat of introducing... oh hell, I don't even know how to describe this! It's the same dang timeline, but there's aliens? But they're not aliens, because Artemis is a tiger and knows what a neko is. I'm so confused, and I forkin' love it! @Yeoldebard Beautiful execution!

Having just finished Wolf Pack... <fangirl scream> I want to know what happens to my Elias!!

A riveting tale involving humans, elves, werewolves, mages, and, possibly the most adorable species I've encountered in literature, nekos. This story contains plenty of action, drama, and romance, and is blended seamlessly throughout every chapter. For anyone who loves a fantasy or paranormal tale, I recommend Wolf Pack.

I'm loving the growing relationship between Danuva and Elias! Once the neko learns to relax a bit, they're going to be one of my favorite 'ships...

Danuva is becoming one of my favorite characters. A healer that recognizes when to, and not help. I'm enjoying this tale thoroughly!

My suggestion would be to assemble a squad, completely away from the Academy (non-staff members, of course), and have them summon Rieka. Bernie is away from the chaos, Gary and Bill remains undercover, and the threat can be taken out (if not, then evaluated).

As much as I dislike Matthias' plan, it seems like the most sound one our bears can come up with.

I'm happy to see Matthias, especially with a perkier attitude. Axel and Adam must be making some frequent trips... Bernie now has a mission, and I hope he shares with Bill and Gary about Karhu.

I think when I finish this series, I'll add a bonus chapter and put every poem you've written in it. Anyone who takes the time to write a poem over one of my chapters, I'd say it's pretty heartfelt. I smile so hard everytime I see one! That is crazy! Straight up bananas! Who knew Tink hated time...

I think Cyrus' might be better than Vin's as well. Cyrus has probably performed a couple in his lifetime, compared to Vincent's one. Glad to have made your day, Patch! Thank you for commenting! I was very excited when writing this chapter. It took a long time to figure out how the lightning affinity could be manipulated in an artistic performance. Lightning moves at a fast and unpredictable pace. I love the "duh" moment I had several days ago, "Just slow it down." Wagner's shaming was so much fun to put in there before the big ending! I feel bad for him, but Cyrus did warn him to be prepared. As one of the comments said, I'm not sure if Cyrus had this planned. His eyes were moving as if he was fighting himself mentally. My main thought is whether Kaplan's ready to be recognized as the pack's mated alpha. Thanks, wenmale! I was squirming as I was writing the dance. The visualization was there, but some of the details were difficult to put into words without repeating stuff like, "orbs, trees, leaves." Thanks, Onim! I'm happy you enjoyed it. I plan on revisiting this dance in an editing session later. I'm glad you liked Cyrus' entrance! I agree; Cyrus had a mental decision at that moment. The expanding universe of supernatural entities has me giddy! I smell a need for Matthias to investigate the use of wights and this Tuath De thingy. I'm close to squealing from excitement!

I think Shea would be proud, but with his new role and authority, I can't imagine him being completely okay with Cyn being a member of the team that tracks down elusive and, possibly, dangerous foes. Cyn's grown as a pack member, but if trouble comes his way, only Kara and Jaime can be combatants in his defense. I've been loving the "Cyn can hold his own" concept from the comment section, but I'm still not certain our cernunnos could handle a violent confrontation. Sure, he has antlers and hooves, but compared to claws and sharp fangs... With that said, he can track. If this is a possible route, I'd suggest beefing up the security detail a bit (Orson *cough*). Now that I've worked my shift and had time to think, I now believe Kieran could be both beta and full-time teacher/tutor. If Kaplan from LitS/RitS can be the head-beta for the New York State Pack and be a lawyer, Kieran can hack it with a much smaller territory.

An alpha/beta couple... interesting. My concern would be Kieran's workload. He already works plenty with teaching the younger generations. Oh wow! Cyn as a member of the Trio! That didn't cross my mind. I wonder if Shea would be okay with his man out in the field?

I'm loving the progression of Arric and Kieran's relationship. I wonder how it will affect Arric's ability to lead in the future.

I wouldn't doubt the power of any animal backed into a corner... Someone's done their homework. The question now is whether Hauser's abuse is real or not. As always, I'm excited to see your comment, Patch. Arric and Kieran are adorable, but both seem to have their own hesitations. I'm excited for this cliffhanger! Who did it? Why did it happen? And why was it the tracking team's little wallflower? I snort suspense like I did with Fun Dip when I was a teenager. Lines, back to back to back. Also, I can't stop looking at the dude in the back of that GIF! What is going on?! Gasp! Who was supposed to be on the train? Or did they get on, just to sabotage the train? Too many possibles!!

What a cliffy! The issues with humanity knocking on the front door is concerning. The word used was breached. Forcefully? Uh oh. Four Arms versus Humanity? One thing caught me off guard, and I may be overthinking this. The aide went to Mereval over a security issue. Is she over Garjah in a planetary security matter?
