    Simplify

I can hear him now when we see each other in the afterlife. "Listen here, you little shit."
  2. The scorching tears have left their scars. My eyelids burn when I blink. I'm not sure if the pain will subside. I hope not. If it does, it means I've forgotten you. If I must cry more, then it shall be done. The thought of you gone seems surreal. You've taught me more than my college educators. I never forget a worthy mentor. Your blunt and brash feedback drove me to places I've yet to witness. Your skill and passion reminded me of what you saw when you sent me that first message. Sixty-th
  3. My heart's been ripped out. Carlos was an instrumental mentor to me. He encouraged and lifted me. Taught me how to write and simplify my writings. He was someone I looked up to, not only as an author but as a human being. Rest in peace, Carlos.

    Chapter 3

A sequel will come along eventually. Got too many projects cooking at the moment, though. Retail Ninja does have two more adversaries in my noggin. Just gotta UT them on paper.
  5. For non-poetry (stories), is the green light still lit for chapters (max 4)?

At the moment, our "bucket" is an old plastic lunchbox. Always happy to see your comments, Patch!

Thanks, Chris! I've had a couple of beers but I don't think drunk Aaron's coming out tonight. Glad you liked this.

This can easily be a co-authored piece. Just sprayin'.

Should I mention my copy of Kohler's Pig I have in my kitchen? (Art of a pig jumping off a wooden pier into a lake)

Happy belated birthday, Doc! I was awfully tempted to not edit, just to see everyone's reaction to the reckless abandon.
  11. Holy shit, this bubble bath feels orgasmic. Like, it compares to a thousand lava angels gracing me with their smoldering kisses across my… well, you know. My chest and face are being blasted with the breath of the icy product of my ever-working air conditioner. Is this a divine serenity that I’ve been blessed with? The delicate task of balancing this notepad on my bathtub’s ledge is unfortunately sobering. It reminds me of the arduous day of work. One more vater will calm my nerves. But th
  12. It's not often I get inebriated. When I do, I often forget about writing. Hopefully, this collection will force me to remember. What will my drunk self talk about? Who knows... All entries are written by me while intoxicated, then edited when I sober up.
  13. I'll trade you 16th B-day vehicles. '91 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais. Burgundy paint with a helping of rust. Came with one free Rob Zombie CD.

How neat! Both of our Dads are butchers! Glad I could get you giggling, Raven!

    Chapter 2

Always happy to supply giggles and guffaws.

    Chapter 1

Quasi-apologies for causing a mess lol! I'm thrilled to know you had a great time reading, Raven! And take your time catching up. I got a few small projects lined up for posting.

    Cautious Man

I'm going to be torn if CJ feels the separation from Owen. They make such a cute couple. Time for bed. Will continue tomorrow. Amazing as always, Carlos!
  18. CJ and Owen!! 👀 Next chapter, onward!!
  19. Kickass chapter! CJ and Owen are hitting it off well, even after an ex decides to try ruin the fun. As always, awesome work, Big Daddy!
  20. This has been my favorite chapter (so far). The church scene was everything I've always wanted to hear in real life. Coming from a fire & brimstone Catholic upbringing, the sermon here restored a bit of my faith. Thank you, Carlos. And Mama Brett has decided to let CJ and Owen have their fun shower time. Hallelujah lol.
  21. Papa Brett is starting to sound like a Mama Bear. Mama Brett? I don't know about this Owen guy. Seems a little too friendly
  22. I'm excited! Surely CJ will listen to César about... who am I kidding. This kid's gonna get laid.
  23. An exciting sequel! For those who finished "Summer" with high blood pressure, make sure to take your medication because this story keeps the pedal to the metal. Another epic tale from Carlos!
  24. CJ's birthday bash was a wonderful way to close this book. Loved it, Carlos! I can't wait to get started on the next story.

    My Hometown

CJ met with Lourdes to spend time with Ritchieand it goes just as I envisioned. My only worry is whether this effects the agreement Lourdes and César made about visitation.
