  1. I'll be adding this to my "to-read" pile. Looks very interesting!
  2. A continuation in The Neko series, Damian's Wolf is a tale of romance, angst, and troubles in a fantasy world. Not found often in the shifters genre, the MC, Jordan, sees being a werewolf as a curse. Meeting Damian and Lysander along the story's journey, as well as key events taking place, we see that opinion slowly change. Small details are not the be overlooked, as they will come and bite the reader's tail. Another brilliant work by this author. Any avid werecreatures, fantasy, and paranormal readers need to give Damian's Wolf a shot.

    Damian's Wolf

As it's been said, beautiful chapter, Ye! Lots of closure; Thayla's sentencing, the bakery in full swing, and Damian's first shift. There are plenty of plotholes for us readers to imagine about (whether Damian and Jordan become full-fledged pack members, if Jordan pursues learning magic), but this story ended perfectly. Wonderful work, Ye! Be proud of this story.

Thanks for following along, JR! I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

    Chapter 58

Having this story finished has left a bittersweet taste in my mouth. I could've went on and on and on with Cyn's discovery into humanity. Hell, the whole plane ride to Gatlinburg could've been a chapter! I'm also excited for potential new adventures, but I'll have to think to see where to take this. Thanks so much for your comment, Hellsheild!

    Chapter 58

Thanks for commenting, G! I'm glad you enjoyed reading. I'll get back to Vin and Mace's tails in a few months. In the meantime, I'm tackling Love in the Shadow's edit.
  7. Thanks Gary! Writing this anthology was a blast; almost like writing a prompt. I'll make sure to challenge myself for the next go-round!
  8. Having worked in the retail industry for quite some time, your message is warm and touching. My new employer, as fantastic as they've treated me, is open 365 days a year with no exceptions. What brightens the mood is the company's compassion during the holiday season. Staffs across the twenty-three stores are to be fed at several intervals and are paid double-time on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Day. @wildone, thank you for your consideration for retail workers! Thanksgiving is a time of remembrance and recognition of growth in my family. It may be corny, but I'm most thankful for this community. It's given me a place to hone a hobby and chat with others who pursue it. If it wasn't for GA, I'd still be mindlessly playing video games and procrastinating in life's necessary tasks (other than laundry. Still find it difficult to motivate myself to do it... ). I'm also thankful I've made it past my one-year anniversary with my wonderful husband and the loving bonds I've made with his family. *** In other news: don't forget to send in questions for Ask An Author! We have a couple articles lined up, but we don't want to see an empty AAA any time soon!

    Chapter 58

Thanks for reading, VBlew! I'm happy you had a great time reading! Happy to see you enjoyed it. For answers: 1) They didn't sense it, per Tuck's response of not knowing Cyn was a cern. We can only assume they saw a loner kid and wanted to befriend him. 2a) Nope, 'fraid not. Just a couple dudes with power plans. 2b) Maybe mangy wasn't the best word, but that was what came to mind when I envisioned grown-up Chris. I think it makes us all a little sad, but stories do have to end at some point. Glad you were along for the ride though!
  10. Well, I know it exists, so I'm content. Seriously, thanks for all you do Myr!
  11. Happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading, doc!

    Chapter 58

I'm sure we'll see the Farrens again. While I wish my stories were in the same universe, they're sadly not. Mace and Vin probably would double-take if they passed a wolf/deer couple.

    Chapter 58

Cyn and Shea might get another adventure, but what it'll be... not a clue. Thanks for reading! I'm going to take some time to edit Love in the Shadows before starting the third book in that series. There was some popularity regarding Chris and Tucker, and I couldn't ignore it. I'll try to come up with a sequel for this world. Thanks for reading, JACC! I'll be thinking about what else can be done with this story. I knew when I mentioned Gatlinburg I'd have Cyn fly. I'll let the frightened deer in the sky be a scene y'all can imagine in your heads. Thanks so much for reading Cincy! This is absolutely hilarious! This is the biggest coincidence I could've ever written. Love it... just love it. Thanks so much for reading! 58 more chapters? Oh dang... that's a lot. I'm not ready to let the buck go either. He has so much left to experience in life! Just think; Shea has to put him on a roller coaster! I thoroughly enjoyed writing this story. I'm beyond happy with what I've done here. Thank you so much for reading, Patch! Having you following along with a story is a true pleasure. Hollywood? I mean... I do like money. With all the requests, I'll be considering a second adventure for this world. Thanks so much for reading! I'm sure there'll be a sequel along the way
  14. Thanks so much for reading, Bill! Contrary to what happened to Jake, I had a blast working with the test server.

    Chapter 58

Thanks for commenting on this entire journey, doc! Your input has been incredibly insightful. I had no honest intention of bringing Chris (Saedric) and Tuck back into the fold, but there were many comments about their attempted friendship during Cyn's flashback chapter. I try not to cave into reader desires, but I felt it was necessary. I've had an absolute blast writing this story, and it's opened my eyes to what other unorthodox stories I could attempt.

I mean, I did threaten to protest... Uh oh. I smell cliffies... As the patented owner of Coyote Cliffies, I say "bring 'em on!"

    Galen- Cubplay

Lots to unpack! Oh, jeez... I just got done unpacking from a mini-vaca. The lines in their relationship are becoming more defined. I like this, even if Reinard is getting accustomed. AAAHHHHH!!!!! Rei Rei!!! In other news, Rei Rei is getting cramps! Hold the forkin' phone! Kits! Kits! Kits! They're on the stinkin' way! Incoming drama for the relationship, as Galen thinks Reinard took the after-pill! Popcorn. I need popcorn!!! And more chapters, Ye!!!

    Chapter 58

Never again! Cyn shook as he was led through the airport. He had to focus to keep the strange, rolling box in his grasp as Shea whispered assurances to him. The deer valued every step beneath his feet. Flying is for birds! Humans have gone too far! "It's okay, pup. Airplanes aren't for everyone. We'll rent a car and drive back to Sheb when we head home." The wolf pointed at a kiosk. “Need to pick up our rental.” As Shea talked with the man behind the counter, Cyn looked around h
  19. This story was initially a joke of sorts when I was testing new implementations for the site with the Site Development Beta Team. It was a true blast to play around on a test server for this site! In regards to the different lines and how Jake's willpower caved, I had a wonderful piece of material to study. The wizard mentions a rule; rule thirteen. Myr does a wonderful job laying out his plans to being an evil overlord, and with his list of rules, it was easy to break down the MC's survival tactics. Thanks, Story Reader! I'm so excited to see your comment! I'll keep truckin', but all I really want is my exclusive badge I was given on the test server! Pretty please, @Myr? I'm sucked in now. Anthology is going to be a new part of my involvement on GA from now on! It was such a blast, and I'm sure I can knock out a couple by the next deadline. Thanks so much for editing with me, Val! It means a great deal!

    Chapter 57

It's an interesting method, but with lycans having an allergy to silver just puts the icing on the cake. Thanks for commenting, JR! 75% of my history classes got derailed into conversations about various bands... mostly Cheap Trick.
  21. A big thank you to all of the site admins and moderators! I'm happy you read my first anthology piece, Patch! Thanks for reading, Carlos! They are dangerous! Dangerously productive, at least in my opinion. Always appreciate your comments, doc!
  22. The darkness under my eyelids tempted me to go back to sleep. I wanted nothing more than to give in to the impulse, but the grittiness in my mouth was disturbing. The grains tasted like sand floating in my mouth, almost as if they were alive. It was quite unnerving. Moving my tongue around, the sensation dissipated. Lifting myself to a sitting position, I felt groggy but perfectly rested. How was that possible? I blinked rapidly as my mind and body tried to process my surroundings. Where was I,
  23. Pot Luck Theme: Lockdown Sucked through his laptop screen by a hooded wizard, Jake must work for him and the voice in the sky… or be erased from existence. How long can he survive when he’s not in control?

    Chapter 57

I attribute my college professors for teaching me everything I know about being a proper human, particularly my business professor. She taught two things in the first session of every class: how to shake a hand and how to read the news on a regular basis. I'm glad you approve of the "silver wolf," Patch. To answer the question on everyone's mind... I'm taking our little Cyn where no buck has gone before! Err, well, at least close enough. Can't launch Cyn into space; he's not a trained astronaut. Ehh, that's a good 'nuff hint for y'all. At least he talked about it. One of my professors claimed sex was the poorman's entertainment, then proceeded to pick on the football player who scoffed for a whole semester.

    Chapter 57

Thank you so much, Raven! It was a rough decision on how to kill off a much-hated character, but I'm satisfied with the choices made. Thanks, doc! Between castrators and a variety of things going into different orifices, the comment section gave me many ideas. Once I had the final solution, it was a major choice of who to perform the deed. It seemed more poetic for Arric to do it, as Eike was his bodyguard. Hmm. Time for Cyn to go hunting. House hunting! Or not... the author has other plans in store...
