    Ridley

Loved this coming of age tale. Very emotional and well written. 6 stars if there is a part two.

    Part 1

Loved the first chapter. I think Ridley is a great character and I can't wait to watch him unfold.
  3. Going through her stories again. This is one of my favorites. There's a lot of drama but the character development is off the charts. Seeing the way she writes personal growth is real and raw. I started out loving Donavon and being irritated with Shane but as the story progressed, things shifted. You see how both men have things that make them they way they are. They're flawed, but in the end, they work it out.

  5. This is my third or forth time reading this story. You've come a long way as a writer and I'm still impressed that this is your first attempt. It really is good. Would love a follow up
  6. That dancing... But also...Jesse? I really like him and he seems like such a great character. I won't lie. I'm a little nervous here. I want to like CHarlie..
  7. I love this chapter. The 0-60 had me laughing. It's clear there are feelings here!!

    Chapter 1

Awesome chapter. Little pieces but I think it's going to only get better.

    Prologue

Loving the start. Can't wait to keep on.
  10. This is hard but I'm going to go with @Mrsgnomie story Three Strikes. It's the reason I came to this site to begin with and it's still remains one of my favorites. I'm not a sports person but that's fine because this story is about so much more. It's real life, real emotion, and real drama. I thought I had everyone mapped out in the first two chapters but that wasn't the case. Donovan and his friends had me laughing the whole way through. Shane had me grinding my teeth at the beginning but I was rooting for him by the end. Role reversals must be her college degree. MrsGnomie humor only makes the story, the characters, and the uncomfortable growing pains more relatable.

Ohh, I'm really like this start. Do you have a posting schedule yet? Can't wait to read chapter two.
  12. Love this tale of two friends. How scary it must be to come out to your bestie. I love the deeper meaning of the puzzle pieces, everything is following into place. Well done! I would totally read a longer version of this!

  13. This is a cute story of friends!
  14. Emotional but insanely good. Nash is a great person with outstanding character. After receiving devastating news about his marriage, best friend, and only partner he's ever been with, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. I hate that term, but it's true. The whole while, Penn is there. As a friend who has his own struggles and secrets. The path from what was to what will be is difficult. It's hard. But in the end, there is no greater outcome. True love. Ture happiness. True success.
  15. The story of Matt, a college student who was looking forward to this new life of freedom, ends up as the sole guardian to his infant kid brother. The story is so well written it's possible this is a self biography. You feel the way Matt struggles with his new role while taking it stride at the same time. It's an interesting balance and the author handled it with great integrity. Along the way, I never really knew what was going to happen. When I first met Seamus I wasn't sure if we liked him. Oh, but we did. Then I wasn't sure what his intentions were. Let me tell you, Mrsgnomie has the character arc down to a science. To watch the characters grow is amazingly. So simple, so complex. I have followed this author since inception and each story she's written tells another story of her growth as a writer. Each tale is better than the last. I can not wait to see what she has up her sleeve next. Hopefully it's a book deal. She is worthy.
  16. I have few words. This is truly a great story. From the first word to the last sentence. You nailed. I love how everything flowed the chapter. You can sense the calm and the happy. My chest actually hurts that this is finished. I might need to take a sick day tomorrow to recover and process my emotion. Thank you for brining this to life. It is a story I will ready over and over.
  17. I haven't been on GA in a while so I'm in coming late. It's clear this story is a better-late-than-never situation. I'm so in love. I'm also sad that I just found it yet it's almost over. Anyway, I cannot wait to see what happens next. ALL THE THINGS.
  18. This exactly. Why is Penn expected to tell Nash? It was Cam’s business and you’re right, the abortion adds a level confidence that it might not otherwise need. The whole ordeal was clearly difficult for her, if she wanted to keep to herself, that’s her choice.
  19. How can you not fall in love with Penn? All the Penn hate has been quite shocking. I feel so bad for him that I barely slept lastnight. I want Nash to be happy but I want Penn to happier. The poor guy deserves a HEA more than anyone else in the story. As Nash has said “Penn had come in and whiteknighted his broken heart” I really hope the same happens for Penn. The roller coaster that poor guy Is on.
  20. Long time reader, new account holder. Maybe I’m alone in this but I see things from Penns POV. His best friend gets pregnant unexpectedly. She’s a party girl and everything I’ve read tells me this was not good news. Penn is there for her, supports her through. Then he gets home from Alaska. From what I can piece together he must have arrived just in time for the party. he probably can’t wait to see Nash so imagine his surprise when he finds out Nash was there, never said hi, left his phone ans vanished into thin air. Of course Penn kept his phone, what else was he supposed to do? And I’d be upset if I was him because he can’t find Nash but Nash knows where he lives. He’s probably wondering why Nash hasn’t stopped by. I’d be super upset by this. Then he finally see’s him running, manages to track him down. Could the communication have been better, duh, but penn had no reason to think ANYONE thought it was his baby. Should he have told Nash? Maybe , but has Cam not earned his trust and confidence after all these years of friendship? I don’t know. I get Penn. I’m glad Nash got away, he did need it regardless. But he was quick to shut Penn out (understandably, given all he had been through) oh, and fuck Lee
