  1. I'll be taking some liberties with the sentence(s) being handed out and the court process. I don't know if any of it is reasonable or not, but this IS fiction. If only you could work on the impeachment @Lee Wilson, the one which is never likely to see the day. For a fleeting moment I was feeling uncommonly congenial and felt a little sympathy for Phil, but then I remembered he had beaten Arlo up when he was a teenager and bragged about it. He has been a bully for a long time.
  2. A paperweight perhaps? I have not seen a comment from @Quarterbear before, but the comment above is hilarious.

    Chapter 6

And this is what I have been mulling over @centexhairysub and @Mark Ponyboy Peters. The more Charlie became engrossed in filming The Boy Who Would Be King the more I felt he was being pulled away from Brayden. Both are valiantly trying to maintaining their relationship long distance, but fatigue is bound to take its toll. As you have rightly stated @centexhairysub, maintaining a relationship at their age is difficult enough, but with the added pressure of Charlie's new life, is it even possible. In reading the story synopsis again it gave me some comfort that for the time being, all is well for CharBray, or perhaps CharDen, or perhaps BrayLie, actually all three are bloody awful, so they will have to remain as Charlie and Brayden, which is more likely anyway as I doubt Charlie will 'come out' at such a young age. And I must ask @Mark Ponyboy Peters, has Rachel Devine featured in any of your prior stories? Her name sounds familiar as does Southern Light Films. Was that the name of the company Guy was working for?

    Chapter 6

Movie and pop stars often incorporate their mother's family name into their stage name @weinerdog, but in this case I don't think that is going to happen, nor should it. Perhaps he can assume the stage name Charlie Riverbridge in honour of his hometown. Speaking of Riverbridge, am I correct in assuming this fictional town is meant to be an outer suburb of Sydney @Mark Ponyboy Peters as the story synopsis states that Brayden and Charlie's story "our story... begins in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia."

    Chapter 6

My initial thoughts on this chapter - well written, witty, warm and a very enjoyable read. But there is something which troubles me and I have to mull over it, am I looking for something which is not there. In the interim, this marvellous song from Kate Bush's second album, Lionheart, seems rather appropriate to post.

    Chapter 30

A wonderful story of love and perseverance. Emotional and riveting to the very end.

    Chapter 28

Mr Rhodes was drunk when he had a car accident which killed his young daughter. The driver who has seriously injured Nathan such that he may be permanently brain damaged was drunk and did not even stop after hitting Nathan on his motorcycle. And Mr Rhodes is blaming Evan for Nathan's predicament after having thrown him out of the family home. The man is a fucking delusional, self-centred, self-absorbed neanderthal. If Nathan wakes up and is functional I hope he has the sense to dismiss his father from his life for good.

    Chapter 27

Well the three men in Nathan's life are all idiots. His father and his brother, what a fucking disappointment, both neanderthals. And Evan, what is he thinking. I envisage Nathan is going to be involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident and Evan will be forbidden from seeing him in hospital; he may even have amnesia.

    Chapter 26

Wishful thinking @chris191070. I hope he has not returned armed with a gun. Perhaps he went to the cemetery to talk to his wife, although he does not strike me as the type of person who would believe in such "nonsense".

    Chapter 25

I hope Nathan's father is not the neanderthal Nathan thinks he is. I wonder too @weinerdog. It is a big coincidence his father came home early after Gigi had visited. And Evan is spot on with his assessment I think. Gigi thought she could just waltz in, pout, shed some tears and Nathan would fall at her feet and offer to reunite. What an ego. Girl needs to fuck off and stay away.

    Chapter 24

I have long thought Gigi might have been a lesbian, and that the break up was mutually beneficial. I still think that this could be the case.

    Chapter 23

My opinion of Nathan's father lowered even further. This is the man who drove drunk and had a car accident in which his young daughter was killed, and now we find out he is likely a homophobe as well. Nathan and Evan will need to be very careful. Connor's removal of himself from Evan's life completely is not surprising, but it is disappointing. Fortunately Evan does not appear distressed by this.

    Chapter 22

Connor needs therapy. I just hope he is not suicidal given how distressed he was. It is his own fault, he brought everything on himself, but I cannot but feel some sympathy for him. He is a very confused young man.

    Chapter 21

Sizzling Chris. My laptop almost caught on fire.

    Chapter 20

I think Evan needs to confront Toby because I do not think Connor has been 100% truthful with him. I suspect someone gave him a blowjob and the dried semen he found was overflow from their mouth, or alternately they may have jacked themselves off over Evan.
  16. Summerabbacat

    Chapter 19

Connor has backed himself into a corner. Any more bullshit from him and Evan may well punch his lights out. There may be a perfectly logical explanation, but Connor's prior lies are suspicious.

    Chapter 18

I wonder if it might not be something completely innocent and because of Nolan's observation Evan is blowing this all out of proportion. It is bound to cum out sooner or later.
  18. Summerabbacat

    Chapter 17

I think Toby suspects Evan and Nathan are a couple, but whether it is he who has a crush on Evan, the crush Nolan observed, is debatable. I think sooner or later Evan will come out to his friends and acknowledge he and Nathan are a couple. This may be when Evan becomes aware of who it is who is allegedly crushing on him.

    Chapter 16

Evan and Nathan will hopefully discover the joys of rimming, which could go some way to ensure this does not happen again.
  20. Summerabbacat

    Chapter 15

It may be a fissure, but then again it could be something more serious. If he sleeps he may leave traces of blood on the sheets and then Nathan will know what the problem is and WILL take appropriate action.

    Chapter 14

"He ruffled my hair. “Why are you only asking me this now, Babyface? But if you want to know… I think I might’ve been into guys all along, even before GIgi. But I didn’t realize until I met you—because you make me feel the most like myself.” A very profound statement. Nathan is very self-aware and not afraid to articulate his self-awareness and concerns/issues to Evan. This augurs well for their relationship. The shower sex was sizzling.❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥. Luckily they did not set off any smoke detectors.
  22. "Bryan chose to wear a neon green and black striped thong, a light pink polo shirt, tan khakis, and creme colored boat shoes, without socks. Max wore purple bikini briefs, a light blue polo shirt, gray khakis, and tan sandals." Love the colour of the thong and bikini briefs @Ticklishboy30, but why spoil them by wearing khakis over the top. They could have started a new breakfast fashion trend. LOL. I wonder why @Paladin. Michael's investigations may reveal more.

    Chapter 24

I have found this is more likely to occur if I use my mobile phone to write comments as opposed to my laptop, although this is not always the case.

    Chapter 24

Blue Heron Heights, hideously pretentious name @Josh Aterovis. Dr Howard confirmed Professor Healy was elitist. He revered her and treated her with respect because she was his superior in position, whereas he treated his subordinates, particularly female subordinates apparently, less than satisfactorily. She also acknowledged he was prickly (terrific word choice @Josh Aterovis) and suggested he may have been on the autism spectrum. Although she was candid and eager to assist, she provided Killian with no information he did not already possess. Killian's subsequent interviews with Hollis Landon, Celia Vessey, Eldora Little and Gordon Wallace were equally unhelpful, although it did not go unnoticed, by me at least, that Celia remarked she could imagine Gordon looting the dig site, but not committing the murders. I have to wonder if the appearance of Skye Vessey is a red herring @drsawzall; was his appearance coincidental. If he has no involvement in the looting or murders, why has he been reintroduced, what plot is our esteemed author going to include him in? Has he perhaps been reintroduced to foil any attempt by Killian and/or Jacy to have a relationship with each other? If so, @weinerdog will not be pleased, and dachshunds are notorious for having a ferocious temper at times. I am now thinking my previously frivolous speculation that Israel Meeks is the looter and the murderer may not be so frivolous after all. He may well be related to the dark skinned man in the antique shop and have been looting the dig site, and occasionally Mr Thompson's property, to finance his "home improvements" amongst other things. He also may have involved Bridget Foxwell initially in the looting, and then decided to murder her to silence her. I keep thinking back to her ringing him immediately upon Killian leaving her home after interviewing her. Was she perhaps ringing him to warn him because she had realised he had murdered Professor Healy. Once again @Josh Aterovis you have we readers on tenterhooks, our speculative juices flowing, awash with red herrings.

    Chapter 24

Occasionally you say, mmmmmm. I often encounter access problems and get any manner of error codes. Yesterday for several hours there was one issue after another, so I eventually gave up. I don't know if it is because I am in Australia, and do not have sufficient tech skills (read virtually none) to understand. And I have a very short fuse with technology.
