Wow, narrating a medieval story through poem. It is a very difficult task but you did it so well! I could totally imagine the characters throughout the narration- the arrogant, the wise... I liked that you stripped back everything and kept focus on the message of the story. Nice!

It may be fiction but I wonder if it has been inspired by real events... I like the writing style (investigative report like) that you have taken. It adds to the impact of the story. I love the comment of the Principal; it sounded so authentic. Avoiding all blame while dumping everything on everyone else. Nicely done.

It's obvious the song is more laughs. Very entertaining and very catchy! It's like nursery rhyme for Pop Kids.

Far from it. She already has another book published, The Cuckoo's Calling, under another pen name (Robert Galbraith). Believe it or not, when written by 'Robert Galbraith' and not the Harry Potter author, the book was critically well received. To those saying that it's about the money, we are talking about the lady who was richer than the Queen at one point. If she really was after the money, she wouldn't have donated so much to the charity. And by the way, Fantastic Beasts and Where to find Them was written for Comic Relief, which is for charity purposes. Am I excited about it? Hell yeah! More HP world bliss for me! *giddy with joy*

I would like to know how you got this idea. It reminded me the "Sex with Nymphos" youtube series by Onion. I read this story more like a parody to the reality shows going on nowadays. It's a very interesting take about the Pandora's Box mixed with the modern internet world. Great one. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my god, I love your take about Pandora's Box. This is amazing. I knew something was amiss when Gus walked in the Police Officer's uniform and brought a child service officer in seconds... Very well done. It's a great story.
-
LOL! That was funny. Jeremy has the same sense of humour as my colleagues. I can totally imagine them doing that. I love how you kept us guessing what was in the box. At first, I thought you were going for horror, the romance. But this was great. Loved it. Quirky and funny.

My reaction: Awwww. It was so sweet. Ayiwyn is so sweet (and his name is so cool!). I like how you brought the Pandora'a Box mythology in and all the confusion about the eight element in the box. I had read about it and thought it was fascinating. And you brought that message through the Wyn's story. Everything if it went wrong at the beginning, there was still hope. Nice!

This is the first story I have read in the anthology series. Having read your stories before, I knew it was going to be good and I wasn't disappointed. You write really well. I'm a huge fan of imagery, lyrical description. And you do it fine, without exaggerating. Great. The whole feel of the story, the coldness, the harshness, the warmth... everything was great. The transition between present to past was very well done. It can be tricky but you merged both amazingly. I just wished for a little bit more about Jared. Why was he like that? IMO, no character is completely black or white, there's always shades of grey. I wonder if he felt any remorse during his death, if he ever realized what he was... But I understand that it's a short story so you were restricted. And it was Brandon's story, not Jared's. In the end, great story. Looking forward to more of your stories.

With the cold metal pressed against his ear, Keith listened to the annoying mechanical tone. He took another drag from his cigarette and felt his nerves somewhat calming. “Pick up the phone, Dumbass,” he muttered though gritted teeth. At the same moment, a voice said, “Hi. Looking for Andrew Turner? Well, I’m kinda busy right now. So leave a message after the tone. I’ll call you back… or not.” Keith felt like reaching through the phone and punching his friend. But he simply waited for the ton

The darkness gradually gave in to the game of days and nights. Two weeks passed and along the way the bruises and the wounds healed. The fidgeting hands at the dinner table came to a rest. The creases of worry were replaced with soft smiles. Strangely, along with those disappearing horrors, Keith’s own demons were gone, leaving behind the resolve to help the stranger. The silence remained, though, as a friend both took reassurance in. Unsaid words hung between them- soft, soothing and tender lik

Two strangers brought together by fate. One facing demons of the present. One haunted by the ghosts of the past.

I'm already on Facebook (kinda lurker over there) but I won't be able to 'like' GA Page because I'm still in closet. Having 'Gay Authors' on my profile listed alongside names of my friends and relative is a no-no. GA offers an anonymous platform which is necessary for some of us. Besides what I love about GA's website is that it's self-sufficient. It has features such as "like", status, profiles, galleries... Everything that is Facebook-ish is already here. But if I had the choice, I would have 'liked' it even on Facebook. Putting my personal situation aside, I think Facebook may be the right step to give GA, along with the authors, more exposure. Personally, I would have liked something which brings 'an added value' to GA's website. Maybe vlogs on youtube? I would definitely check out my fav author's vlogs. Though I wonder how many authors would agree for that. Tumblr sounds interesting too, though I'm not a member over there. I may join if GA starts a tumblr thing. By the way, I've always thought that LinkedIn is mostly for professional contacts. Is it?

I read quite a lot of HP Fanfic and seriously, I love it. When you read a book, you built your own version of its world in your head. Writing and reading fanfic is like sharing that world and for me personally, it's awesome. It's interesting that so many people read the same story, the same words, yet the way they see it is so different. The other day, I was think about "What if Harry was in Slytherin?" as he was supposed to be. I actually thought a lot about it, how the whole story would change. Then, I read a fanfic about it. Throughout the story, I was like "Exactly!" or "I never thought about that." It was so fun, it felt like discussing HP with another HP fan (Awesome!) So you can say that with fanfic, the world you love will never cease to exist. Yay!

OMG, it looks great! I love Kate Winslet.

Ohh, I really thought that you were going to give them a nice happy ending, very disney-like confession at the end. But life's not disney, right? Short story but enough was said to convey the emotions. You have an eye for showing and not not telling, with the right amount of small details. And I know I have already said this before but I love your endings. This one was no exception. It ended at the right place with a punch. Great one.

ASMR- Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ASMR is "is a neologism for a recently described perceptual phenomenon characterized as a distinct, pleasurable tingling sensation in the head, scalp, back, or peripheral regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli." This article- ASMR- Free, Intensely Pleasurable Relaxation for a Lucky Few- seems to be more useful and understandable. It should be noted that it isn't backed by any scientific research. One of the stimuli is haircuts. But doesn't everyone experience this? I thought it was a universal thing. Having someone "handling" you so closely is so intimate, not in the sexual sense of course. There's always this weird (yet pleasant) tingle. Once one of my friends took my pencil and using it or playing with it. I don't remember exactly but I sure remember the feeling. I was transfixed by the sight of his fingers on my pencil- something which was mine, which I use everyday. It felt so intimate (that's the closest word I can think of right now). It was a trance-like feeling, I'm sure of it. It was so strong (much stronger than the haircuts). This happened only twice. So, does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone here ever experienced it? Ieshwar

Happy Birthday, Jo Ann. Have lots of fun and a great year ahead.

I don't think that I would like that to happen to me. Lol. Yes, it was kinda cute but it could have ended really badly. :s

Happy Birthday! Hope that you have fun.

Happy Belated Birthday, Cia. Have fun!!!

The rendition was so genuine. It looked like something he had gone through, and not simply imagined or copied from someone. Thanks for the share, totally. It's definitely precious.

Nice one. I love the beginning, the part where everything is perfect and you say he practised the smile. Careful hints here and there. Well done. For all your stories, I love the ending. You always end on the perfect note.

Very profound indeed.
