Hey, ive been eying this guy at my school for a while (originally thought he was cute and just admired form afar) but recently i heard something about him being gay! I want to get to know him (even if we dont go out) because he seems like a nice enough guy. Hes friends with a few friends of mine but ive yet to actually have an introduction with him. I dont wanna be some creepy stalker guy and just walk up saying "Hey, i heard you were gay...well so am I! You wanna see a movie or something together?" That would not only be morally wrong but it would just plain kill my chances lmao. Even if hes not gay (im almost positive he is) i would still like to make another guy friend. I was gonna ask Kaydee (my bestest friend in the world) about him but i dont see her till saturday . Does anyone have any ideas of a nonchalant way to say hello and introduce myself? I know i sound like a little bit of a stalker but hey, the last love of mine was 219 miles away. It'd be nice if i had another gay friend, even if we didnt have interests in each other. Also (to address the more realistic sense of how bad blacks are treated) i like Down Rodeo By RATM. Its pushing more on how African Americans are under the white class, but its good. The only womens rights song i know of is Revolver by RATM. Sorry if im such a RATM fan but they address good topics and take it to the extreme lol. Im religious and i believe in god, but NOT in the catholic church. I have too many problems with them to even get into. But i will say this, the bible was meant to be interpreted. If you cant see that there are metaphors and similies in the bible then you need to wake up. It wasnt meant to be taken literally (fundamentalists). The bible is not all correct. Yes, the IDEAS are right, but not literally. And for those who dont believe me, take the creation of the world written in the bible. God created everything one day at a time. But god didnt create the sun until the forth day? How can someone measure a day (by our standards) without the sun?!?!?! The idea is everything was created one at a time with space in between the creation of each thing. But enough out of me already, im not preaching and im not trying to prove a point other than you can be gay and be Christian or catholic or w/e. Everytime i see religion talked about by gays it seems to me like they hate religion because they hate gays. NOT AT ALL. The people that follow the religion hate gays (not all but u get wat im saying). IDK, wat i guess im trying to say is dont blame the religions beliefs (most are all open and greeting to gays), but hate the person's ideas who follow that religion. GOD yes i wish my life was more interesting. Other than driving to Cleveland from Detroit every other weekend, selling......"items", goin to Canada every month, blowing off my hw running to Macdonald's and yelling at my dad for being such a dick to the family, my life is pretty uninteresting. But i DO seriously wish i had something meaningfull to wake up to. Like when i wake up in the morning i want to think "Wow, my life is better because of ______. Now what am i gonna do today that is going to help preserve that in my life?" Or something like that, you get the jist. Ian

It has seriously saved my life lol. I dont know what i would have done if i could talk to people about coming out and stuff. Its helped me find a bf, friends, stories and so much more. My most cherished moment if i live to 100? Hmm.......it would most definitely have to two special moments. One was when my bff (kaydee) told me that she loved me. I know im gay but i love her too. She is the ONLY girl ive ever loved. And im not casually talking about "hey, luv ya!" I mean i really love her! She has always been there for me, looked out for me...shes my older sister i never had (only child). The second moment would have to be before my bf and i broke up. We were lying in bed together and he was facing me but was looking down, and he said (for the first time) he loved me. I was so happy it took me a few seconds to realize i had to say it back lol. He later told me he was a little embarrassed but i said he was new to this "love" business lol. Ian

Hey, i just got back from watching Daja Vu staring Denzel Washington and some thoughts came to mind. In the movie they had some really advanced (fakeish) technology, but after contemplating it for a while some of it started to seem a tad plausible! I remembered some topic on here while ago about some space/time physics and you all seemed very, VERY educated on the subject. So i got to thinking, where would i go to find out if any of this stuff from the movie was even possible/plausible; and then it hit me like a brick.....GA! (if any of you haven't seen the movie and dont want it to be spoiled then DO NOT read any farther lol) For those who haven't seen the movie ill try to explain what some of the technology was (im no rocket scientist so forgive my crude explanation). A bomb went off in the movie and the police were looking at the footage and it was some new technology called WHITE GHOST, i think. This technology was a fluke test trial with some telescope stuff, and it enabled them to look at the past. They talked about bending the fold of time so the light and all that good stuff was to be seen sooner and at a higher quality (in the movie they used folding a piece of paper as the easy analogy). But using some Einstein (and other) theories, they were able to project small amounts of dead mass through the fold of time and appear in the past. They were looking at the screen that displayed what they were seeing and Denzel used a laser pointer on the screen and the girl on the screen saw the beam and flipped out. They then said that some electrical pulses (the same used by organs and the brain) were able to be sent back by use of some alien looking transmitter. When the guys in the movie sent back a piece of paper, they had to speed up the particles (idk if it was the particles but they sped up something) to be able to send it back. Then later in the movie towards the end they sent Denzel back in time by some grace of god stuff but im not to worried that that is possible so dont even bother with it unless u really want to lol. If anyone has seen the movie you probably know what im talking about better than i do (i had a few drinks before hand but i wasn't doma or anything). So i was just wondering if anyone knows what im talking about and could maybe clarify if ANY of this is plausible/possible. I would greatly appreciate if anyone would post because the add/ocd in me is going crazy trying to figure this out. And if you dont understand my explanation (idk if anyone will lol) just pm me or something and ill try to explain it better...........or go watch the movie ( i recommend this movie to anyone, it was fantastic/creepy). I just switched from IE7 to my Firefox and i love it! although you have to get the Fasterfox add on if you get ti. Makes the pages load quicker but it uses a lot of bandwidth on the site your on. I actually shut down a site for a few minutes because there were so many people on it lol. But hey, its whatever works for you really. Ian

I dont use any purse type product or a backpack to hold my things. I actually dont think i have used my backpack at all this school year. Anyway, if it doesnt fit in my pocket, its not worth having (for me anyway). (dont ask me how i know this but..) Originally, purses were designed and used by men. They were used, like you have all said, to carry around essential items that might be needed on a daily basis. I think they were created in europe, but im too lazy to look it up. Dying of the hair was also invented my men, makeup also was created by men to puff up their wigs and make themselves look nice. Colonials used to dye their wigs vibrant colors: blue, yellow, orange..... i guess it showed wealth or power. Ian (how the hell do i know all this!?)

If u didnt know, im a leftist. Changing laws and convincing legislators isnt going to solve anything. Im a big leader of making changes and ill be the first one to say no one is too small to make a difference but.....in this case, i beleive we r being shot down. All of these right wing, conservative bullshit lies have gotten so numorous tht it'll take at least 50 years before some changes r made. Ive seen videos of people growing weed in Cali because its legal by state, but they had to wear pillow cases over their heads because its illegal by fedral law. If the states legalize medicinal marijuana or any drug for tht matter, people will do it. People r gonna do drugs legal or not. In 1972 the government started a fedral medical marijuana program to help people with cancer and such problems. 7 people r still on it today and it SAVES LIVES. Irvin Rosenfeld will continue to get fedral pot untill the day he dies. Look him up on the internet, hes an advocate and he smokes in front of the White House! Weed has saved his life, he is a stock broker and is very successfull. People who do drugs r jus lik u and me, hard working, law abiding, family making citicenz. We need to stop treating them lik criminals! Its a big slice of injustice pie. BUt whinning isnt going to do anything. I used to do drugs and ill say they hurt no one else but me, unless i drove (never did), got in a fight (once but i was sober), or started a fight (never hav ever). But pointing tht out to the legeslators isnt going to help anyone. If it was in a statistic (it is) its not gonna help our point. We seriously need to stop trying and jus do it. R we gonna stand here and be trampled or r we gonna stand up and so something about it. Actions speak louder than words, and thts exactlly wat we need to do. I hav a video of me somewhere around here of me smoking a joint in the middle of the street. My friends and i were gonna send it in but we didnt hav the stuff to get the prints off it or anything (we were high). But tht still is the idea of wat we need to do. We need to show them tht if nothing changes, we r gonna do it more. And i no tht by doing tht someone is gonna say tht we need to put more money in preventing it. Thts not gonna do anything because we will jus get smarter in our ways and more advanced in out technologies in hiding it. You cant totally stop some one from doing something, u can only prolong it. Its good tht they r trying to get people to stop using drugs, but the way they're doing it does absolutly nothing to the average person. Well, where do i start. I am a stong advocate of drugs and the freedom to use them as long as u dont hurt anyone else in the process. If any country wants to be called free, then the people hav the freedom to put watever substances in them tht they want. I dont no too much about other countrys and drugs but i no alot about our country. This rap is the same thing as our old heroin commercial (the frying pan and egg w/Reacheal Leigh). Terrible PSA, the government released a survey they conducted in early 2000 and it showed that the commercial was useless in the eyes of americans. They immediatly went to attacking the medicinal marijuana advocates instead. But anyway, if our commercial didnt work (and it was proved) wat makes this rap any different? They legalized it, they hav to live with the consequences. I feel good tht its legalized but, u need sticter (ALOT STRICKTER) laws for useage in public and things of tht nature. U cant be hypocritical, u either support it or u dont. Dont legalize it then say hey, stop doing wat we r allowing u to do. Thts jus plain half tought logic. Medicinal marijuana is very important and usefull. If u think a smart docotr is gonna say "hey smoke a joint and u'll feel better," ur absolutly rite. The Professor (his name slipes me) of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical Skool is an advocate of maedicinal marijusana. He syas after all his traing in medicine, he was being brainwashed by our government (we all r) tht marijuana and other drugs r the worst possible thing u can do. Oh, i jus gave him a necklace (very sentimental to me) so i thik ill go with the movie. I mean it works for everyone, he gets somethin, i get to make-out for an hour and a half, and the box office gets more money! Now the question is wat movie to get him. I mean i would like to watch it for real at some point and hes not a big action or thriller fan. But he does like "out there" movies. Funny movies are always good, but for most u either hav to be high, drunk, or sober to think they're funny. So tht leads me bak to the same problem, wat movie?!?! Thanks, Ian
