  1. There are only two chapters left??
  2. So I just started reading the Rich Boy series. I held out for a while, but eventually gave in. I just finished the chapters that have been published for Growing Pains, and I was wondering what the posting schedule was.
  3. So the title of the story sounds a bit cliche, but it's a good read. A short story by Andrew J and one of my favorites. It makes me laugh every time I read it. Thought I'd share http://nifty.nisusnet.com/nifty/gay/colleg...ck-romance.html
  4. I usually don't watch music videos on YouTube. Rather, I watch other people's covers of songs and a capella stuff. Here's one of my favorites: It's Firedrill!, an all male a capella group, covering Alicia Keys' If I Ain't Got You. The lead singer is HOT! You can barely see him in the vid, but if you do a bit of stalking (like I did ), you'll find his MySpace page and see his pictures
  5. Really? I thought it was terrible. Five minutes into the movie and I already wanted to walk out. But I stuck through it, because I was curious as to what was killing everyone. There are some good parts. Like . But, overall, the plot, directing, and acting just sucked. And I'm surprised about the acting. Because I like Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, and John Leguizamo in their other movies and consider them to be decent actors, but they were just absolutely terrible in this movie. After Lady in the Water, I told myself never to see an M. Night Shyamalan movie again. I should have listened to myself.
  6. I'm morbidly fascinated with the idea of dick popping. How indeed does one find out that they have the ability to pop their weiner? In keeping with the topic though, I don't know if this is much of a talent, but I can bend my fingers (with the exception of my thumbs) back far enough that the tips are an inch or less away from the back of my hand.
  7. Just out of curiosity, which story are you interested in making into a movie?
  8. Don't forget Jean's wedding. I'm pretty sure the next chapter will have that in it ^^
  9. That's exactly what I said. I told him that it was hypocritical to say that there was nothing wrong with being attracted to men over women, but yet there was something wrong to be attracted to a certain race over another. Personally, I think his objections are rooted in a very strong sense of race. My parents would most likely have the same sentiments as this guy. They find it more appropriate for me to date someone of my own race, rather than someone of a different race. I guess it's the changing times that have me believe differently, but what surprised me is that this guy was my age, 18, and yet, still had the same views that I find to be so archaic.
  10. For personal/relationship fears: Afraid of being alone for the rest of my life...Y'know, never finding that one person. Oh, and being trapped. Trapped in a town/city/place where there are no opportunities, no way for me to get out. Where I'm trapped because of obligation/duty, when I wish to be elsewhere. The world around me: I'm afraid of heights and of deep water. I can't swim Internet: Viruses scare me often. Mostly because I have waaaaaay too much stuff on my computer that I would hate to lose. But, whatever. Just get Norton Antivirus and you'll be fine. I hope.
  11. I just had a very interesting, heated debate with someone about attraction to different races. I told this person that I was generally attracted to white guys, but also could be attracted to people of other races. He responded with, "Ewww! You're a potato queen!" (FYI: Potato queen = Asians who are only attracted to white men. Y'know. Brown on the outside. White on the inside. LOL) He found it offensive when Asians were only attracted to white men, but yet, did not find it offensive when Asians were only attracted to Asians. He called it, the former, being narrow minded. And yet the latter, to him, was being open minded. Or at least, doing the "right" thing. I'd like to know what you guys think. Is it wrong to be attracted only, or generally, to one particular race that's not your own? Is it the right thing to be attracted to your own race over others? I answer in the negative for both questions, but I'm curious as to what other people think.
  12. Just finished reading Chapter 15 (Enemy Mine)...I think I'm gonna leave the story for a while and just relish in the wonderful emotions expressed by Dan and Vadim in this chapter. It was just...perfect. Too hard to describe in words. I'm left speechless and incredibly moved by it.
  13. I'm not able to read it. What did it say?
  14. Apple Bottom Jeans - T-Pain
  15. Oh, no. Don't tell me that. I really wanna find out what happens to Bobby. And now there's this. So Bobby or William? Meh.
  16. Well, I believe none of them knew what griffons were, and certainly weren't expecting the maniacal, hell-bent-on-slaughter griffon that they encountered. And Zot does mention what they were expecting of the griffons, even if it wasn't in the beginning: Anyways, I finally got around to reading it. One problem I had with it was that you can't just end it like that. Not with another chapter not ready... But, great read. I'm looking forward to more
  17. Okay, so I will read it tonight. I must. I can't put it off any longer...
  18. Yay! Another story from you I'll make sure to read it...Sometime when I don't have tons of homework to do
  19. Has anyone seen 'Michael Clayton'? It's an excellent movie. I wasn't very impressed with George Clooney's performance, but the story...Just everything was excellent. Tom Wilkinson was fantastic in it. Tilda Swinton was good, but she didn't deserve the win for Best Supporting Actress.
  20. One of my favorite things to do on YouTube is to watch the videos of random people singing covers of songs or singing their own songs. theboiwonder is my favorite of all of them. He's really cute And oh, he can sing too. Lol.
  21. Haha. Exactly That's why I'm having a hard time reading it. I have a terrible time with poems.
  22. Nuh uh. Kelly Clarkson >>>>> Carrie Underwood.
  23. Haha. I'm more inclined to buy a new car than to get a cat. Don't really like cats. And yes, absolutely do I want kids. Lots of kids. Maybe like four. Or five. They're just so adorable. Sure, they can be a pain in the rear, and I would know. Being the oldest of six kids, I had to deal with quite a lot of butt pains. But, in the end, they're nice to have around. I would like to have a surrogate mother. But would place adoption before that. For the first kid though, I'd like to adopt a baby. But as my family grows, I would like to adopt older children who no longer have families. I went to an orphanage once and it just really brought me down watching those kids and realizing that they didn't have families. Ideally, I would have a partner by the time I'm ready. I didn't realize that you could adopt kids when you're single. I always thought that children could only be adopted by stable couples. Regardless of my relationship status, I'd want kids.
  24. For class: 'Odyssey' by Homer. Pretty much everyone knows the story for this, or at least has heard some of it. It's probably good to read the actual unabridged version, although I'm having a difficult time getting through it. It doesn't read like a book, more like a really long poem. For pleasure: 'Thin Red Line' by James Jones. I saw the movie a while ago and I loved it. So I decided to read the book, and I'm loving it so far. But I haven't had much time to read it, so my progress is very slow. It's about a company (C Company, I think) in the battle for Guadalcanal in World War II.
  25. Zack! His name is Zack. And he's a Mormon too! There's something about hot Mormon guys.
