Comsie’s passing is truly saddening. My deepest condolences to his family and friends and his fans . I found GA about 6 years ago and New Kid was the first story I read and since I have probably read it 9 or so times since. I’ll be honest, I check GA every day awaiting new updates from any of his wonderful stories. He truly had a gift. One that I will truly miss. Not only did I enjoy him as an author but also somewhat as a shepherd, educating those who struggled to love themselves or be ok with who they are while sharing the ordeals of dealing with rejection, hate or intolerance. I am quite sure that thru his works as well as all of you who have contributed to this outlet for readers has saved many from making the inevitable mistake of taking the easy way out. For that we are all grateful for your endless efforts. Heaven has gained a wonderful soul here is a quote from and episode of little house on the prairie I remember as a kid “Remember me with smiles and laughter,, for that is how I will remember you if you can only remember me with tears don’t remember me at all” LIW God Bless you all ❤️

Hey Comsie first story or not it’s awesome! I honestly check daily waiting for new chapters. Since I wasn’t aware it was your first story I now see how as the boys matured as did the writing as the story progressed.This story captures a lot of things. Being in both boys shoes during my own teenage years, With Ryan, I have a similar dialogue lived in the chi, parents split, moved to central Illinois then back to the Chi and being the new kid once again also leaving behind someone who I couldn’t tell how I felt about them. On the Randy side you capture what it’s like to fear to have the self resolve to accept and be who you truly are. To try to manage your own emotions while giving every bit of yourself to the one you love.Dealing with your own demons, fears, insecurities, jealousy possessiveness, abuse and lack of self esteem as the relationship evolves.Unfortunately been there too. I will agree that your ability to build characters is extremely well done across all of your stories I’ve read and take them from their early teen years and mature them as the story progresses. You have a great gift and thank you for sharing it with us. ps please don’t make us wait 9 more months before the next installment 🙏❤️

Can’t wait for your next chapters. Luv this story so much it one of my all time favs. I think I’ll start back and reread for the 6th time while we wait . The best thing I noticed that I missed when I read this chapter this am was it shows in progress, not on hold, not temporary hold or long term hold .really exciting .
