................An interesting story where a medieval kingdom is set in the 21st century. Poor Jeremy is thrust into the intrigue and mystique from the start, I'm sure his father and teacher are somewhat involved. It is puzzling to me that Jeremy is not aware whom Prince David or Lord Braden are, yet recognizes almost everyone else including Prince Caleb. What little knowledge he is armed with, it allows him to mingle with a free abandon to protocol. Yet still not sensing the trap, he is whisked down the rabbit hole with Caleb and cohorts in wonderland. Will Jeremy be able to whisper the plot against the kingdom in time to save the throne?

.......................Good waitress!! I hope Ethan left her a good tip! I can't believe that West is clueless in this mess, you'd think they would have contacted everyone by now. Ethan is so confident that he has won Sean over that he will make mistakes. I think Sean is betting the waitress has read his note and needs to try and stay in place for a few more days. The weather being beautiful, Sean will talk Ethan into walking the beach. Ethan will agree, not realizing that a storm is coming in! Great chapter! Tiff keep it up!

........................Anderson is an ass, it is easy to see he takes after his dad who seem to be just as annoyed by the visit. Something akin to the yearly check-up with the dentist, it has to be done. A clue into Cassidy? I now think that perhaps he was Anderson's older brother, in which case the death may have no bearing on Anderson's nosedive into his self destruction. I also get the idea Christmas must have been the time of Cassidy's death, given Anderson's plea to his dad about the holiday. I hope Berkley doesn't become the flavor of the day and thrown out, maybe he will see through Anderson as what he is and brush the crap aside. Cassidy seems to know! Great story Chase, keep it up!

.............Yeah, I had Jerry landing in the volcano too, I hope the US comes and retrieves bodies so that a memorial can be done for Jim & Linda & the Private. Maybe use a large spatula for Jerry and just heave ho into the lava flow, (maybe he is still alive!!!! )

......................It little matter of a certain (soon to be ex.) State department official, a (soon to be) Pulitzer prize reporter!! Over anxious arrest happy FBI agents. Then the rather subdued Helen in this chapter should negotiate twice the asking price $30 million from an embarrassed government. Will the US do a search for bodies? There is one matter not brought up, the Iranian government must be furious with the groups antics and I wonder if the danger has yet passed for our Heroes?

...................I finally got around to reading this story, and I'm glad I did! One of the first things I noticed is how timeless this story is, so far it could be set in the '70s as well as today. Adrian's justified apprehension of Evan's intentions make sense, he'd been living in fear of being outted for months and then gets a call to go out? For all he knew, Evan could very well have been setting him up for blackmail or worse. Evan acted like a 7th grader at his first dance trying to work the nerve up of asking a girl to dance. I laughed my ass off when he stumbled his words, 'well, I may be gay...just happened.... well kinda knew...err!! Denial, yeah that's it! Great story, looking forward to more chapters, these two are so deep in the closet, but I have a feeling Evan is about to step out soon.

...........The real sad thing is that there isn't much to say! It happens, and it is more heartbreaking when it happens to the children, so young, a life not fulfilled yet. I've lost five family members in the last 2 years, only one to cancer and it was my sister-in-law that passed three weeks ago, beating her doctors projections by 9 months. Some people respond to treatment, others do not, if there is any relief I'd guess that there was time to love, project life with family and and have time to say good bye. That doesn't sound charitable to say to the parents of a dying child, as much as the truth of it be fact. I suggest you listen to them when they anguish and offer them your support, do not throw out life preservers such as religion, or medical advancements, or anything that you think will provide giving them a false hope. Their lives are going to be in enough turmoil over this and don't need 'invented promises of hope'. They need support to get them through this and to eventually heal together afterwords.

....................I'm going to take a guess that all five people that escorted Helen unto the plane are Felicia's men, that leaves Survov, Scar and the pilot. We have 5 armed against 3 possible, if the pilot is also armed. The Scar has a weapon, but I'm betting he is in someones target sights right now. Survov is so surprised he won't be much of a threat that leaves the 'bomb' as real threat, yet Scar couldn't get it 'remoted' as he wished and I doubt he can bluff himself out of this. They are airborne if the pilot refuses to cooperate then the General would have to be with them to land the plane, there are no more pilots. So that leaves the 'Mexican standoff' finished, plus Brandon and Eric and a very still angry Helen on board. Me thinks Scar is going to nose dive into the volcano with Survov either cooperating or shot.

............Yep, my apology to James! I got off track as it happens when threads go astray. Seriously in this chapter I think China and North Korea will eventually fall from power thanks to their governments actions. The people in both countries will revolt against the leaders, North Korea will re-unite with the south. China will move towards democracy as well, with the leaders now dead and more than half it's military gone. This chapter was all military strategy and the chess game is in favor of the US. Russia is waiting in the wings, maybe to wait and see or go forth on an attack of it's own during the crisis and try and recapture the post USSR holdings it lost after the end of the cold war maybe even expand. Once the 'nukes' were brought out, the game changed, Vietnam will be silent as will most countries as the advantage would not work well with the Pacific Fleet on high alert. Once the dust clears, skirmishes may abound in regions with centuries old tensions between them. James has brought the scenario the of reality of such first strike, however I question the Chinese motives in striking the targets. I understand San Diego, but why Phoenix? I know there were 'multiples' in those fired missiles and most were taken out, I'm sure Denver, Las Vegas (Hoover Dam, Nellis Air Force Base and Indian Springs) were intended the intended targets of that one fired missile. Waits for next week's chapter......Checkmate!

............What with China attacking the US unprovoked with nukes, I don't see us sitting together at the kitchen table and cutting the pie up. Besides their leaders are about to receive a care package from us! I see N. Korea and folding up camp as a revolution takes place in the aftermath. As far as the economics? I think we forget our debt to them.

.............A very captivating story Chase! Anderson is certainly the obnoxious rich brat whose decadent lifestyle may have contributed to the demise of Cassidy. Hard to tell whether its guilt or his drug induced state that haunt him, either way his resolution if any, will be hard if the competition is a ghost.

............Agreed, I probably could use one of those shakes once a week!

..............I see this as the morally right thing to do, not quite as revenge. It was justice served. To me revenge is getting back at someone who has wronged you. Something I have never really done, I figure karma will get them in the end.

..........Well that is not really true! A weeks vacation in the wilderness with no access leaves a lot of catch up to do. Anyways, I have a feeling this 'witch hunt' will backfire on the Congressman that initiated it, whomever that may have been. Humm, maybe someone who was turned down by a page?? That could really backfire!! I think the press will pick this up as what it really is, and Congress will wind up looking stupid wasting the taxpayers money. The boys will come out smelling like roses and the politicians will smell like usual. Afterall a non-existent trumped up sex scandal would look foolish if all they can really find is some 'maybe questionable music downloads'.

...................Another great chapter!!! It looks like Eagle Rock will be soon swamped with casualties from the Phoenix area, hopefully they will not overrun the place. China was able to get in some nasty punches, but will pay heavily for it. The clock has to be ticking down for North Korea to act, they have to be aware of the nuke strikes in the U.S. The next chapter is going to be a real mess!!! Haha! Good stuff James!
