..................Not sure of the elevation you are at, but I'm sure it is at least over 5,000 feet, so your heatwave was minimal compared to mine at 117 last week (2200 feet). LOL! Yep, that high is leaving and that brings on the monsoon season, I'm grateful for the break!

..................Well Krista the surprise here was that Corey's mother didn't seem to think that her son was gay and took him to Clinton's place, of course she didn't know that they were becoming an item. But still her reaction about him going to Jenny's place seem to dispel any reason in her mind that Corey might be gay. Clinton's response and actions were at least predictable in the encounter and Corey's response was likewise. Now to get to Corey's dad, I see him as a disgruntled old man trying to re-live his life through his son in his glory days at high school. That is why he pushes his son so hard because he didn't make it there. His frustration grows everyday as he sees his goal being destroyed, he doesn't see or realize that if you kick a young dog enough the dog will not respond to you. It will just make it fearful and resentful of you. I wonder what Corey's mom has in store for him? I suppose I should mark my calendar for December to see what it is, LOL! CJ will remain to be a problem, but for how long I wonder? Thanks for the chapter! Benji

..................Well Q-man, I got a bonus, since my PC was down awhile back, I didn't know that you posted chap. 14, so surprise that I got 14 &15. I think this gave me an insight & understanding why Jason and Peter broke up for awhile, the guilt here is tremendous. I suppose going back to court will help resolve this issue. .................Now that I think about it, that should have a big clue that Grundig was not involved. Nowhere afterwards did it speak of the Bridget knowing of the failed attempt. Although her contact knew, he didn't relay that info to Bridget that I'm aware of. After all he was bailing out of a bad situation gone wrong and retired. I see little advantage of the 'OZ family being a little more then a footnote here, maybe the close family visiting Florida to see Trevor and Shane.

................Although I doubt that I wouldn't put it him pass him, no I expect a long chapter in wrapping up the long voyage of Trevor, and the residuals of effects on Lisa and Joel, who will also become celebrities from riding the storm and escaping the cartel. Once the media storm lets up, the book will revisit the attention to Trevor. I foresee Trevor and Shane working the Florida coast for the season and flying back to Australia for their season in the tourist trade of excursions. After all how long can Shane's visa last in the US?

................... I thought on that, seeing that the seasons are turned around, Trevor and Shane would stay in the US during the spring/summer months and depending on Shane's vista fly back to OZ during their likewise weather cycle for charters.

..............Yep, Lisa and Joel need a real honeymoon without hurricanes, Bridget and the cartel!! I wasn't sure if Julie ever met Lisa, perhaps when she was Captaining Trevor's boat. Other then that I don't remember. Bridget however goes without saying! Gonzales does not need another promotion, he will be fine fixating his passion on crooked cops, with Henry always on his mind.
