  1. ............... Great supposition here! But the narrator never lies and in the prologue she was indeed aboard the Aries and once dropped off her guests, headed back to Florida before the mayday call.
  2. ................ I think the shoe print on Ace's shirt will nail Logan!
  3. ................Well now that it all out in the open, I'm afraid when Nephy said 'and then it came' she was referring to one of Haze's rage moments. I do hope Ace can calm him before Haze kills Logan, and with all that shouting where are the parents?
  4. ........... Things are heating up here (finally) we now have Shane's story of his 'dislocation' I do hope he is the superb writer he as he demonstrated to Trevor with the short story of the 'roos. If so, I see a best seller, especially after the press release of Trevor's ordeal comes about in the news. Now that brings more danger to Shane and Trevor, the timing is all with the dateline that the goat has not really provided. If Joel and Lisa leave earlier then George anticipates can he miss the planting of the drugs? Also the interview with Dirk is the most important piece to this story so far. Of course that brings problems if Sanchez gets wind of location of Trevor's mother also, will Crocodile Dundee show up (Grame) ? I'm glad Bridget and George are still confused of the exact location of Trevor, that buys a little time before the press release. Again, the time line is closed for departures and information for us. It is maddening the the time spent on Shane and Trevor's recent adventures without acknowledging the time line here, now the plan to visit a 'national park' in guise of getting Trevor treatment, I see several more chapters before we see a timeline with the interview with Dirk and Jim. Perhaps the goat was 'goaded' into doing so, but I really want to hear from Gonzales and Frank, with Dirk and Jim in behind. BTW great chapter James, it was good to see Shane and Trevor resolve some issues!
  5. ................ Who needs just fighting? http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2011/6/6/2210222/aaron-rome-hit-nathan-horton-canucks-bruins-game-3
  6. ............. Remember we have a wily goat here, could mean Shane and Trevor get closer, or Rodriquez getting closer to solving his case, or (the list grows long, with Frank, Dirk, Jim and Lisa and Joel. However can't leave Bridget and George out of the loop).
  7. ............ My crystal ball sees another session at Blake's place, it's obvious that they both have problems to overcome. But I think this is going to be the best therapy for both of them, now if Blake can only talk without stuttering!
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIBBY!! ............Have a good one!
  9. ............... Got it, I was made the assumption that Trevor's last call was to the land line at Bridget's guesthouse, I screwed up there on that. I guess what got me going was George finding out the town in Australia that Trevor landed in a few chapters back.
  10. ...............Well I think I enjoyed the party as much as Ace did, I was very surprised that Haze didn't walk Ace home. I suspect he didn't want to appear to be over protective, but he could of gotten away with that by telling Ace he wanted spend a little more with him. I strongly suspect Logan, but what kind of freinds does he have that would help rough up a blind kid? If they figure Logan out he is up on assault and battery, and probably robbery ( the cell phone). Great chapter Nephy!
  11. ................ I tend to agree, it is the nature of that particular sport that allows brawls to open up. They take cheap shots at their opponents often during the match, sooner or later leads to a fight. Funny how it is usually a one on one and not a bench clearing as in the MLB. It is like it is expected for the crowd, well Rome had it's coliseums, just saying...
  12. .........Opps! Right, I was thinking that Shane hit redial to Bridget's guest house phone, they (Joel and Lisa) had used it before in conversing with Trevor. Not sure I want to re-read 8 chapters to see if I was right about that.
  13. .......... Actually, Shane told Joel the name of the boat when he called him on the satellite phone, and yes it was in the guesthouse! After the phone call; Lisa sat down on the guesthouse sofa and waited until Joel joined her. “I’d be fine, I’m just worried"
  14. ................. I believe that is all due to the younger generation no longer afraid of the closets coming out and educating their peers. This could not have happened in the '60s even with the sexual revolution in front of us. Thank G_D, it is finally happening, I might see it becoming law before my death.
  15. ....................."I’m doing fine, Joel, except I’m not Trev. This is Shane. I live on Kookaburra – the boat Trev chartered. He’s not hurt or anything, but I need to talk to you.” That is a piece of information Bridget and George didn't know about, they already knew Trevor was staying in Carnavon. What was it that had Joel concerned at the end, if he mentions that he suspects that the Atlantis is the real target in the guesthouse. Bridget and George may have to step up their plans, especially with the story about Trevor's ordeal about to be 'breaking news'. Although trespassing is breaking the law, will Henry sweep the guesthouse for bugs anyways? A thought occurred to me is that Joel figures he is on to something because of the coincidence of both the Aries and the Atlantis were both targets of a bombing, this may resolve his thinking that the Atlantis may have something hidden on board. Joel knows Dirk would never set foot on a boat if he could avoid it, let alone spend hours installing a secret compartment. Even if he were to do so, why risk Trevor finding it someday? Joel has to be thinking about an unknown suspect, now Lisa and Joel need to find a common thread here.... Hummm! Both boats were purchased from Bridget's household and Arnold was murdered and an unsolved one at that.
  16. ...................Ok, " Trevor blinked. “Whoa... Dad really did it, just like he promised? That’s great news! That means I don’t have to wait for my eighteenth birthday to come home,” Trevor blurted without thinking. He’d expected his exile to last until June of 2007. In the galley, Shane was busy preparing breakfast, and heard Trevor’s exclamation. Shane froze for a moment, his smile turning into a sad, hurt frown as he resumed working" Humm, wistful thinking on his new found friendship or what?? Me thinks Shane and the goat protest too much!
  17. .........HUMMM, HOW DID I MISS THAT?
  18. ................ I voted gay, someone has to keep Trevor company when he resumes his voyage to complete the circumnavigation.
  19. .............Easy, if I like to story and it is well written I rep up after each chapter and make comments on it. If I do not like the story, I usually don't read anymore of it, but I never rep down an author. He/She has put out the effort to write and I will not downgrade their rep because I did not like it, I sometimes comment on it, but that is rare. I'm sure others will do that and I feel no need to add to it.
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC! ...............Have a great one, but don't overdo it!! Hehe!
  21. ..... So true, never thought about that way! I re-read the 'mob' story but didn't glimmer a hint if Shane was being just truthful that he liked girls only or maybe he was also bi/gay. The goat feeds on carrots also!
  22. ............Great news!!! Sounds like all went well, I'm glad.
  23. .... It was a given that Shane 'knew' about Trevor, the mystery was that he turned out to be the str8 guy here. Question is in Shane's past, was he on his own because of actions by his parents, perhaps towards a younger or older brother that might have been gay? Could Shane see the panic attack coming on by reliving his family life with his siblings. The goat dropped hints, but they were mild ones at this, once Trevor recovers from his 'attack' Shane needs to come clean.
  24. ............Another fine chapter, very much a shame Shane is str8, oh well at least the outting was done, no matter how poorly Trevor did it! Something Shane wondered has me wondering. '.....It had triggered a memory in Shane, one that was far from pleasant. He hoped he was wrong, but felt he had to find out, for Trevor’s sake.' and then; 'Shane’s eyes glazed over slightly as some memories from his past returned'.. I guess Shane will come clean to Trevor about his situation now, and maybe Trevor can relax around him. I do hope Shane can help Trevor out of his panic attack, Shane must have dealt with this before and knows how serious it is.
  25...............Aghast, must not be any TRUE Christians in the UK!!
