................. I agree with you here, he is just a kid and should be left alone to do some normalcy. But that is highly unlikely to happen, Hollywood and $$$$$ are on his horizon. I do hope he does not become a victim like River Phoenix.

.........Not sure what Joel and Lisa will start to investigate, but could it be that they discover that Bridget was the main suspect in Arnold Bellevue's murder? Will that finally send off signals to Lisa? Sanchez may not have the head start, hopefully not and Trevor can get out of there before an assassin comes after him, perhaps 'bad boy' Shane has a weapon aboard the Kookaburra himself, as I do see them both sailing out very soon in it. Henry's last act maybe to find the bug and or plant one, Gonzales will be included by some of the information afterwords. I'm thinking Henry now trust Gonzales enough to reach out from beyond. I'm of the mind set that the customs officers had too much time on their hands and decided to investigate Trevor's boat for curiosity, their find although a criminal act in Australia, left them at a dilemma, I think they were embarrassed to be caught in searching the boat in the first place knowing what Trevor went through. Trevor's defiance was brave and just enough to crack their nuts over the entire thing. That leaves the press, obviously that means Trevor is in renewed danger, the customs officers know that now. They also must know that Trevor must flee for awhile, will they give him back the gun once he sails away? Or will the Kookaburra have weapons aboard her also? The guessing game has now become one of timing here, Trevor needs to leave immediately, Sanchez's man has to get there quickly, the press is already on the way, and Trevor's phone still hasn't arrived yet. Good one Goat!!

..............Gonzales fed Lisa just enough information for her to get back to Bridget with, he wants Bridget to think the police see the pirate attack as a random act and not another attempt on Trevor's life. I have a bad feeling about Henry though, Gonzales probably should have not handed Henry's business card to Lisa, because if that gets into Bridget's or George's hand, I fear his life maybe in great danger. Maybe it's time for Henry to sweep the guesthouse for bugs or plant one himself. I noticed the 3rd pirate is still unconscious in the hospital, will he let it slip that the pirates were paid to kill Trevor? Gonzales is going to know there is no way Dirk or Jim knew of Trevor's position and therefore could not of planned a hit on him. He does know that Lisa & Joel knew of Trevor's position, that makes the chance of Bridget knowing also. Trevor needs to get out of the town he is in real soon, the papers pinpointing his position makes Sanchez's work too easy. Of course, with Trevor's name hitting the newspapers, the relatives will be alerted. The only safe haven for Trevor is right back at sea with a companion of course. Great chapter CJ!!!

...................... Ok, I admit my reluctance to watch it at first, but I think I caught it mid-season maybe the 2nd one! ILMAO! I thought it very funny and enjoyed the antics of the school staff as much as the talent of the showcast.

.............The goat is a master at misdirection, but I have never seen a character of his not have a conclusion somewhere in the story. Julie is a loose thread, and I'm sure we will hear of her again. But if she is a protagonist or an antagonist in the story, we probably won't really know until towards the end of the story. She is in Tahiti after all, she could be the head of the Cartel for all we know and could be angry that her organization was taken down with Trevor's involvement. Or she could be a last minute savior from Sanchez's last draw attempt.

Looking forward to the visit with the DA and the Grand Jury, so that I get this straight, because Peter gave permission for release of his medical records the Prosecutor will only request the ones related to his injuries and no other vital information can be given out to Jordan's attorneys? Never knew that, I always thought that the defense could subpoena almost anything. Great chapter, loved the last scene at the college!

.....................Yea!! Another chapter!! Riely's dad is a real piece of work isn't he? I have never seen anyone that so controlling and yet he was the one that pushed Riely to go play the game, yet blames him for getting hurt. It is easy to see he is trying to relive his life through his son's accomplishments. I'm surprised nobody attacked CJ at the game, he sure did scamper off like the little yellow belly he is. Speaking of scampering off, why the hell did Greg retreat so fast? Looks like they both need the closet for safety reasons and Greg was afraid he stepped out of it too quick. ................The only inference I can gather from Dirk is that it was dangerous for Trevor to be looking for the Ares, and I don't think it was the sea that bothered him the most. I would have to assume that Rachel left because of something she saw or found out that could have put the entire family in danger. Perhaps her presumed death solved the problem of the danger to her family. I also don't think there was intentional fraud of the insurance company, but the insurance had to be paid for appearance sakes, I think Dirk hasn't touched the money and plans to return it after statues of limitations expire.

............Good point! But still it leaves a problem here, can a legally declared dead person resume her maiden name and remarry and not get caught? Not unless she has help from someone, like a government? Or are they (the Blakes) just pretending to be presumed to be married, fooled everyone and are waiting the statues to run out?? That is assuming that Mrs. Blake is Trevor's long lost mother of course.

................. Great chapter! Really looking forward to the interview with Joel, Lisa, Frank and Gonzales. That should be most revealing, if Henry plays cards right he will get a lot of information out of them. maybe even get a chance to sweep the guesthouse for the bugs planted there. The noose is tightening up on George and Bridget, will Gonzales or Henry suggest that Joel & Lisa feed false information to Bridget to see where it leads? How much information will Henry share with Gonzales if he gets the go ahead from Jim and Dirk? Will Gonzales finally bring in the Feds and plant a GPS on the Sea Witch? After all knowledge is power! The phone call to Seychelles will be interesting, especially if one or both of the pirates star singing to the cops. The connection to the Cartel will be made, again the Feds need to be involved soon. Hmmm, did Trevor just out himself to Shane? I'm guessing the arboreal stop was a dead giveaway for Shane. And of course the speedo collection of Trevor's may have peaked his interest!

That the insurance company will pay for another boat but not hotel (sometimes I wonder about those insurance people :wacko: ) 2nd we know that Trevor still fears of his safety and cannot stay in one place too long, and defiantly not alone this time if he chooses to go back to sea, so the obvious is to set sail aboard a rented lagoon 57 that is complete with a cabin boy .... Yep sailing up and down some of Australia's shores for some great surf and attractions while waiting for Joel and Lisa to arrive. The only question is the time line, will he beat the reporters and Sanchez's people before departing? Will the townspeople keep their mouths shut out of protectionism or the fact they don't like nosy people? I wonder if Trevor's relatives have someone in the family that has the like of ....dare I say it!!!! Crocodile Dundee??

I agree, we know nothing about Shane, nor why the townspeople think he is trouble. We do know that Shane typed up a news piece that he trashed in favor of the anonymity Trevor wanted. He also typed up a resume, so it looks like Shane wants more then being a beach bum. I also think Shane was testing Trevor about the girl at the store, very subtle in gauging Trevor. He would have to be dense to not realize that Trevor changed the subject, as he stopped skateboarding and faced Trevor. I think we will get the goat to have them both open up more in the next chapter, I think Trevor will come clean with everything after he gets back out at sea when he rents out the Kookaburra with Shane in tow to visit around Australia, get in some get surfing spots while awaiting for answers to his mother's family whereabouts. I'm pretty sure Trevor doesn't want to stay in one place too long, he still fears for his safety. Hopefully he will not take any charters out, and just be low-key and moving along. Bridget does not know that the statues of limitations for Dirk end on December 16, or the preferred 17th, with them (Dirk & Jim) both be in meeting and in custody with the police. Will that change her game plan for Joel & Lisa? Remember that Lisa though it strange that Trevor outted himself to Bridget (chap. 55) I checked and Trevor didn't, it was Julie that may have done so. So if Lisa is not the airhead I thought her to be, can she finally start adding up the pieces, Detective Gonzalez's warned her about Bridget but did not give her any clues why. So we have December 21 as the depart date for Joel and maybe Lisa, 4 days after Dirk comes clean, will that enough time to thwart Bridget's & George's plan? Or will Sanchez be ahead of schedule? .............But then again the goat is always full of surprises, wonder if Julie will show up in forthcoming chapters?? Forgot to add, since the stolen gear of Trevor's has been confiscated by the Seychelles authorities, I wonder if having it shipped to Trevor will save him money in the long run for refitting the Atlantis. The news story will no doubt break soon, Trevor needs to get out of there, only solution is to sail away. The cat and mouse game is afoot!

.............You have me very wrong here, I have tried my best to calm Jacob down, even he will admit to that. He ignored my advice, and actually played the part of a jilted date here. I stand by my assessment here, I love his writings and wish he would have calmed down to accept the realities of this site. There are not enough mods on it to regulate everything here. And with the new changes in December on the site, and with mods being down with sickness and work, it was wrong of him to lash out as he did. So 'concerned writer'! I am not at fault here, nor are the mods and Admin. Pray tell me what think the implication is here given the circumstance? BTW, I was very enthusiastic about having Jacob on this site, I'm the one that asked him to come on board here, his writings are great and in line with GA stories. So why would I be his detractor if not for his antics to the other mods? I'm really pissed off at some of the response's in here at the mods, they work hard, they have many problems you have idea about, plagiarism abounds and the amount of effort and time to sort that out takes a lot of time from them. Hell Jacob has only been here 3-4 weeks, most story writers wait 3-6 months to get hosted. That was Jacobs problem, not yours I might add, if you think I have a piss poor attitude, you well be right. You have no idea what these mods have to do on a day to day basis. I have no shame in my response to Jacob, we are clear here. But to your inference? 'Frankly my dear I don't give ..........'

............ I feel like crap here, his frustrations are immature to me. He must know how much time it takes for mods to delve into stories and other issues on a site with so many few mods involved. Jacob is a good writer, I would never had suggested him to the GA site otherwise, his 'reaction' floored me. In light of the short staff due to the situations, I expected patience from him. That said I wish Cia had not responded to him, she was correct in her assessment however it was ill timed I think. As it was the 'straw that broke..." I am sad that he will no longer be posting his stories here, but we cannot have an author dictating his presence.

...................... So you're on-board that the goat writes cliffhangers? Whatever gave you that thought? Yep, CJ does a lot of research, that is why we try to trap him, but he always leaves clues anyway. But with his constant use of misdirection it is sometimes hard to figure the direction he is going (did I say hard?). A secret or non-secret is that I often re-read the chapter many times to find those clues, and often find myself going back to previous chapters to find the discrepancies or laded clues that were forgotten. The cliffhangers/tense moments are a favorite of mine as they prod me on to re-read and discover what I may have missed in the hints. I'm pretty sure I'm about 85% true in my opinions on the chapters and my forecast of upcoming ones. That said, I believe someone once said 'The hunt is on".

...............Quite a character is Shane that CJ has presented to us, arrogant, angry and hostile in the prior meetings with Trevor. And then a totally different person when making peace with Trevor aboard his boat, a kinder and gentile person with sympathy towards Trevor's plight. Hmmm, doesn't make sense in his late night typing of a letter to be 'PRINTED" of the computer, unless the owners of Shane's boat cannot be reached by e-mail. Surely as suggested Shane could have an alternative motive into alerting the press, but by 'mail'?? Certainly, he is not a contact for Sanchez, again the printed form of the message to be mailed? I can only conclude he is asking the owners of his 'rented boat ' be allowed to let Trevor stay aboard and maybe even sail around Australia, while the Atlantis is being repaired. I think CJ has responded to his readers for an encounter at sea with another at his side. Who knows? Maybe Trevor with Shane will complete the circumnavigation back to Florida. Still The unanswered questions remain in Australia, along with the danger still accessed towards Trevor's life. Great chapter CJ!!~!!!

...................I was at the student lounge at UNLV that morning, having a coffee before my 1st class, we all cheered as the shuttle took off, waiting for it to break into outer space. But the break-up was unimaginable to us as it unfolded and we watched the disintegration. The quiet that followed with the numbing sadness carried out through the day, I doubt anyone learned anything in class that day, teachers and students alike. It was almost like the same thing, when we heard of the Kennedy assassination in elementary school, total disbelief, you cannot believe it was true until you actually saw everyone else shocked by the news. Funny, how 911 didn't effect me as much, I guess I was just acclimated to the shock syndrome.
