    Chapter 21

I was actually hoping that I had come upon this story late enough that it would be finished, and I wouldn't have to wait to see what happens next. Oh well, . . ."I'll be back!"

    Chapter 20

As many of you, I grew up in the 50's and 60's. Graduated from HS in1963. But I never experienced this kind of hatred and homophobia. True, I didn't know any guys that I would identify as queer, but I still never saw this kind of behavior. Being raised in a metropolitan city in West Virginia, I never experienced any racism, either. Maybe I lived a sheltered life. Anyway, this kind of behavior makes my blood boil. And so much of it can be blamed on the parents. Maybe that's why I get so angry. As a humorous sidenote, my dad spoke more poorly of Catholics than he did blacks or queers.

    Chapter 20

My hands gripped Jason’s waist to pull him close, lightly pecking his lips. Smirking into the kiss, I licked his lips asking for permission. He granted it immediately. Damn this boy knows how to kiss; a moan escaped my throat as the kiss turned into intense passion. I wanted him. Squeezing his waist I pull him more against me, as he grinds our dicks together. We groan out together, practically dry fucking each other in the open at school. This is as far as I have gotten in this chapter, and I have to comment. At my age, I realize memories dim, but why don't I remember kisses with my girlfriend/fiance/wife this way? If that's a question for a forum, please direct me. I'm new here. Back to the story.

    Chapter 19

@Story Reader I think it's the author's attempt at leaving us hanging. But he hasn't disappointed us yet. My own fit thought was that Aiden was going to ask Jason for a blow job, but he isn't that crass. Time will tell.

    Chapter 15

have you always been gay? I was a bit surprised to see that question in a story that I presume is written by a gay author. I mean, it would make sense if it were directed to me, because I don't know the answer, having lived most of my life as a heterosexual and believing myself to be so. But don't most gay men always know they are gay? Perhaps I am naive as well as dumb. No offense intended here. Back to the story.

    Chapter 14

I was so not ready for the "sex/not sex" part. But then, I am a conflicted romantic who doesn't really know what he wants. Great story so far!

    Chapter 14

I just LOVE happy and realistic endings. Thank you so much, "Archie," for such a wonderful story.

    Chapter 4

I don't always reply to every comment, but I appreciate each of them. If my stories can tug a few heartstrings, I'm a happy camper!

    Chapter 4

The summer of his 14th birthday Jason fell in love with Billy Gilman. Wait! Not literally in love with Billy. Geez! He fell in love with Billy's music. Being from Texas as we were, country & western music was a large part of Jason's repertoire. That and contemporary Christian. The first time we saw a Billy Gilman video on TV, we had to get on the Internet and find out which ones he had made and when they would be aired. I taped more music video programs than I can count, just trying to get B

    Chapter 13

Vehemently? And you refrain from passing judgement? 🥰 I jest, course. My wife and I visited Melbourne for two weeks back in 2002. What a great trip! A wonderful tram system. But that's another story, too long and involved to go into here. I will say, however, that we met a 17-year-old boy (Peter) from Adelaide as a result of the story I am now posting. There is so much we could learn about guns and respect for them from other countries, but I fear our moral compass and collective egos will prevent that from happening. I hadn't thought of it before, but perhaps I could write a story, non-fiction, about Peter and how he came to be my "son," in his eyes as well as mine.

    Chapter 10

“Why should I?” He turned and stopped. “Look, James.” He threw his arm around my shoulder. “You’re Jackie’s best friend, which makes you my best friend. Jackie and I have just met, and I really like her; but I’m not going to come between the two of you. You were here long before I came into the picture.” Wow! Reminds me of Mitchell in "Growing Pains." Glad I'm not alone. ☺️

    Chapter 10

Wow! I really have to respect your position and experience. My rection would have been to kick his ass out of school, which only shows my own level of intolerance. Thank you for your perspective.

    Chapter 10

OK, I admit it, I've had a drink or two (or three), and I'm an American born in 1945, but "It was a nice uncut cock" just doesn't float my boat. Yuck! Sorry to all you uncut guys.😇 🥰

    Chapter 9

OK, I'm an American, and our standards and expectations may be different. But I see people of James' age as children. And children are to be respected and protected and loved as the gifts they are. I don't wish Donovan harm, but I certainly hope James continues to cast him aside.

    Chapter 9

I said it before, and I'll say it again, Donovan is an asshole, a self-indulgent, egotistical, unrepentive asshole. I have no bpatience with him or others like him.

    Chapter 13

In response to @SummerabbacatI'd like to ask what country is your home? Just curious. I'm an American, living in Texas. Talk about "gun rights"! Wow! We even have open carry without a license, if I'm not mistaken. I support the right to own a gun, but there should be limits. The problem in this country, as I see it, is that Americans are, by and large, a very greedy and self-centered society. We want the best of everything at the cheapest prices. We bitch about so many things being made in China but aren't willing to pay the prices those same goods would cost if made in America. That carries over into the gun rights issue, as far as I'm concerned. We demand the right to own guns PLURAL without responsibility. No background checks, no psychological testing, no limits on the number of guns a household can own, no decent penalties for parents who allow their children access to loaded weapons. And two houses of Congress who don't really give a rat's ass about anything but their own egos. I suspect every American reader my age would agree with me that the moral fiber of our society has gone right down the tubes. But I generalize. OK, I'm done. Again, I hope Dwight was only wounded.

    Chapter 3

Thanks for theses comments. I only write from what I've known in my own life. Back in the day, one was either "normal" or "queer." There was no in between. So all of my exploring buddies ended up "normal." It was only in the past 10 years or so that I came to acknowledge, with joy, my bisexuality. I suspect many of the astute readers here, yourself included, have and will see in my stories what I didn't see in myself.

    Chapter 3

Don't hold your breath. I did have a lot of fun writing chapter 4, though. Coming soon.

    Chapter 13

I've never been in a fight, frequently because I could run faster than any of my antagonists. Perhaps that's why I am vengeful m-f. I'm glad Dwight got his, but I hope Dad had enough sense not to kill him.

    Chapter 20

I lost track of who Scott was and was afraid he and Lucas had hooked up. I am really happy the way this story ended. Thank you, Libby.

    Chapter 19

Ditto all of the above. I was all set for Jase to save Lucas instead of Macy and give up his unknown past for a future with Lucas. Boy, was I wrong.

    Chapter 3

Near the end of Jason's eighth grade year, his choral director called me and asked me to come in for a conference. When I arrived, she launched right into her reason for calling. "Mr. Bedinger, I wanted to talk with you about Jason. I think he has quite a talent and needs to pursue it." "Wow, Janet, thanks. But call me Dan, OK?" "Sure. Now let's talk about Jason. You know he adores you don't you?" "Well, I don't know if adore is the right word, but yes I know he's fond of me.

Am I reding James Patterson under a pseudonym? OMG!

    Chapter 12

OK, I've finished this chapter, and I have to say that I am in awe of Libby and authors like her. I ca only write from what I know or have experienced. There's no way I could come up with the material Libby has put into this story. Kudos to you, Libby.
