Mommy??!? Gawd (pardon my French lol)

At the beginning of the chapter I thought Blue was doing far too much talking to himself. In fact, I was wondering if that was (at least partially) the reason for his therapy sessions - that, and his parents' bickering. It finally occurred to me that Blue could be straight. I guess I was a bit slow on the uptake, eh? Third guess? Three's the charm? Like @Gary L, the "secret garden" motif also occurred to me, though my memory being what it is (or rather, is not) I couldn't remember a thing about the original story. No matter: Behind the Walls works perfectly well on its own, not having to rely on the inspiration of the original's title. Nice job, @Secret Author.

Just binged on this! Time beautifully well spent - I was rooting for Chris and Andre, but I'm never very good at guessing ahead. Much more fun to allow the author to take me along for the ride 🙂

I should have been so lucky *sigh* Too bad life doesn't always imitate art...

So many of us have a weakness - or maybe I should say, a fondness - for bad men <evil grin>

To my (mis-educated?) mind, this definitely has a stream of consciousness feel to it. We are given a slice of life (as it were) with the implication that there very well could be more to come, although this vignette seems to have some finality to it.

Binged on this today in one fell swoop. Time well spent! And since I might have some extra time on my hands as a result, maybe I'll have to poke around The Butler to see whether that would be to my liking as well 🙂

Kudos to our author @chris191070 who "allowed" altruism to prevail instead of having a spirit of vengefulness carry the day, though that would have been welcomed by so many others, I suspect. For me, there's enough negativity in Real Life - why import it into our fantasy world? And though some might call me a Wuss, I warn y'all that would be enough to get dumped as potential Boyfriend material for me. Only I get to call me a Wuss LOL Looking forward to the next chapter!

One wonders if this is further evidence of the superiority of canines over humans: dogs seem much less complicated. Mine sure is! In any case, great story! But then, I've always liked your stories @chris191070 .

Something like this occurred to me as well, but @weinerdog has thought this through a lot better than I. Thanks for doing my thinking for me ... I guess I'm getting a bit lazy in my Old Age 🙂

This story just keeps on getting better and better. Seeing Blue's world through all the confusion is such a revelation - even while for Blue himself it's bewildering. Kudos @Sam Wyer .

Once again, I've found myself wishing that my Real Life had imitated the Art as I found it in pages such as this. At least I'm not picturing myself as one of the bunnies 🙂 As for our fearless author, @chris191070 has been one of my all-time favorites for some time now.

Ohh Emm Eff Gee More, please!

I'm not sure I've ever met anyone like Blue. Though maybe I have, somewhere, somehow. I don't recall. In any case, Blue resonates with me. I like him. I'm not sure if he'd like me. But right now, that doesn't matter as much as the fact that I'd want Blue to like me. Am I like Emmerson? I don't know. I'll have to wait and see whether "life imitates art," as the saying goes. In any case, I'm hooked on this story. I'm hooked on Blue. Masterfully done, @Sam Wyer!

Binged on this for the last few days! As something of a foodie, I just HAVE to agree that turkey for Christmas is Just . Too. Boring. LOL. (Yeah, know that's kinda trite of me, but it just needed to be said!) Time to dig around and find other literary offerings by @Sam Wyer, who has produced not only one of the best stories on GA, but one of the best stories EVER - and as someone who has been around for a little longer than my allotted threescore-and-ten, I've read my fair share. All my best to Cal and Davey, along with Scarlett &co 🙂

Been binging on who is, for me, a new - and remarkable - author. Started with Beyond Yellow. Anyway, when blood appears or fighting starts, I generally give up reading. But not this time. Truly exceptional writing and story telling has made me a captive. Cal is so unlike anyone I'd be "interested in." But I love him to bits. Actually, I probably love Davey even more, but I guess this isn't a contest. In fact, virtually all the characters are amazing. Even Mark, for all his faults, is so believably true. Kudos to @Sam Wyer (and yes, "kudos" is not a plural - though it has the feel of a collective rather than a singular LOL).

The closing line about checking his phone approximately every seven seconds is priceless!

Being reintroduced to Marco has dredged up all manner of personal memories of mine, some of which are quite difficult to deal with, even after all these years. So true to life, reminiscent of times when existence seemed so unsettled and any resolution seemed hopelessly distant. Some of us, though, have a way of landing on our feet. May we all be so lucky! God bless you, Marco!

As a Master of your craft, @James Carnarvon, I cannot discern those "bad habits" of yours of which you speak! So glad you've brought us all back to Ravello!

@James CarnarvonThinking of you often! Welcome back! Eager to delve back in!

This story just keeps getting better and better as I'm being absorbed into it ever deeper. While it is not exactly a walk down Memory Lane for me (I was far more closeted back in the day) this story is far more engaging than my own life back at the time. All those missed opportunities! Thanks for bringing to the fore of my mind's eye all that might have been *sigh*

So, no Barbie for Ken??!? Or is that in a forthcoming sequel? SAY IT ISN'T SO 😉
