@Summerabbacat, I guess I wasn't too fussy, being (at heart) something of a slut (my bad!) when it comes to sexy rockers *blush*. Benny of ABBA also had that piano keyboard thing going on: I still fancy myself to be something of a "tourist" around the 88's.

The memories! A classmate of mine in grad school was named Agnetha - though objectively speaking the ABBA version is a tad bit prettier. Heck, the ABBA Agnetha is prettier than her erstwhile husband Bjorn was, though Bjorn has aged so well, eh? Back in the day, though, it was Benny who used to set me all aflutter *sigh*

Surely being gay involves being on a continuum of some sort. Where one crosses from "gay" to "bi" - or even something/somewhere else - is a matter of perception as much as a question of objective reality. Whether Todd's father can change his son's identification is quite a different matter, however. "Wishing the 'gay' away" smacks of delusion. Todd's father should know better.

Um, I must have been leading a sheltered life all these years, cuz I've NEVER heard this term before. Of course, I can easily (and happily) imagine what this may be referring to LOL. In fact, I remember saving a catalog from decades ago of a young man in a bathing suit showing off, well, you know... In any case, it was homoerotic enough for the likes of me, even though the firm was not at all so inclined, and has since even cleaned up that one m2m oriented "faux pas" of yesterday in favor of heteronormative adverts, much to my chagrin. Not exactly "random kindness and senseless acts of beauty" - there was nothing random about Barrett's kindness. But close enough! Kudos to Barrett for turning things around for poor Todd. Makes me almost want to get bleedin' blind drunk to see if anyone would do the same for me ... but since that's not remotely likely (the getting drunk part), I'd at least like to win a lottery to get to meet Fairy Godfather sometime. Great story thus far @Superpride!
