    Chapter 1

    How beautifully bittersweet *sigh*
  10. Color me ... confused!
  11. The story all on its own is already amazing. Adding the artwork and maps and stuff sounds fantabulous! You're going to spoil us 🙂
  12. Though this is by no means a dead-ringer for my own biography, there is so much here that speaks to me. By the time I reached my first year of university I had known for over a decade that I was not "normal" by any stretch of the imagination, though I had never acted on it at that point - though I had been dying to do so. Mr. Renkin and I are of virtually the same age, and I was very much a model of Repression by the time I left home for higher ed, having been trying to live in a "normal" world as much as possible. I can certainly relate! Good to "see" both @empath as well as @Summerabbacat. It's great to be back in the Land of Lincoln.
  13. Absorbing, to say the least! The mental images this story-telling is producing are wonderful.
  14. Oh, yes! This promises to be a Good One!
  15. Zounds!
  16. So, @drsawzall, it seems like my mind was in that same gutter you were alluding to... glad for your company!
  17. Boy, wouldn't I just LOVE to wake up lost, with only a Cute Boi to deal with 🙂
  18. I'm scared to death of drowning (always have been!) My own adrenalin is pumping through me, and it's not even 7am. Help!

    Chapter 5

I've been reading only because of the excellence of the author, @Ronyx. Otherwise, it's been like I'm hanging on by my fingernails - not that I experienced anything like Neil, but I could have imagined it happening to me so easily.

    Hello Strangers

Like @weinerdog I read quite a bit, at least when time allows it. But my memory being what it is, I can recall having read something without retaining any recollection of the plot until I'm actually reading along. So it's like reading something again for the first time (does that make any sense?) If I've read an earlier edition of this, it hasn't popped out at me. In any case, I know I'm going to enjoy this, even without knowing where it's going. How do I know? Because @Lee Wilson wrote it - though sometimes our Esteemed Author freaks me out with what I will simply refer to as "unpleasantnesses" (kapiche?). I figure Real Life can be unpleasant enough as it is, and I don't need to import any extra unpleasantnesses from the World of Fiction. Oh, and Grammar Police: I know unpleasantnesses is not a proper word. But I suspect most of you know what I'm talking about...

    Chapter 5

How does one go about getting one's own royal elf??!? I'm not asking for myself, of course ... I'm enquiring for a friend 😉

    Chapter 4

    Amen!
  23. I had no idea what to expect when I started reading this barely moments ago. But I discovered that this is just what I needed this evening! Maybe it's all due to some Fairy Dust or something. I am grateful 🙂

    Chapter 1

Sometimes I still do. Heck of a way to live. Fortunately, I can get a grip... Great start, @Ronyx!
  25. My path was a bit different, but I too remember lying in a strange bed, crying my eyes out. They were tears of joy, though my Swiss host at first did not know how to interpret the emotions that poured out of me. I quickly assured him that he had made me a very, very happy boi that afternoon. It was not the first time that I had given myself to another man, but somehow a line had been crossed that day.
