Why do I write gay fiction,, Because I like to write, that's for a first. Second, cause it gives me a mean of expressing feelings. It's really not all that simple. Personally as long as one (or hopefully 2) of the character is gay and that there's some evolution more or less related to that, I would consider it as gay fiction. A fiction with gay character would be a story where one of the character is gay, but that the sexuality has nothing to do about the story. (An example that I have in mind for this is the movie "Four Brother". it is mentioned that one of the bro is gay, but, aside from one or two jokes about it, it does nothing to move the story forward)

Exactly, Jerry would have to get back to the states. He did say that he wanted (more or less) do whatever he wanted to get Joe "fixed". I'm not sure, tho, that the band members would pester that much about it, but I agree that Helen wouldn't have a "no" for an answer and would bug Jerry until he at least say that's he's flying back. Helen might want to accompany him for support, but as it is a tour, I doubt that she would leave the group in the middle of a tour, specially overseas. It might bode well with Scar in the sense that he could simply say that he's leaving for the states but in fact goes back taking care of his business. It would give him the perfect reason not to be around and actually take care of his "business", Helen wouldn't be able to bug him about spending some time with the group. I don't think that Eric's spider sense would be triggered more. Jerry could easily put in on the fact that it's been years since he hasn't talked with Joe and that he's scared about it or something like that. sacha

Having a child with my partner... For sure I would like that. Now about the process that you just described, it's the first time that I've heard of it, I'm not sure. First, because it will sure take some time to go from the trying phase an approved process. Then it will surely cost a lot. Then, there's the matter of is it right. I'm not a christian fundamentalist against everything that is stem cell research, far from it, but I'm still not sure about it,, I would have to think about it some more

They might still attacking, but I don't think that the gay rights can loose what they have already gained. It can only go up,, gay comes out more and more younger because they feel like they can. That should lead to their entourage being more accepting.

It sounds like it,,, your comment made me think about it a little more,,, I said that I wouldn't mind dating someone still in the closet,, But I would make an exception and wouldn't for some older guy that have no real reason not to be out. I mean,, with someone of my age,, I can understand,, he might also still live with his parents,, and needs to. Therefore maybe there's a need not to come out to them just yet... But, with older guys,, there would be no reason,, that would indeed be asking for trouble

exactly,, Like it was said before,, sadly (tho it's a good thing) is because the victims have less fear when it comes to reporting those hate crimes. Believe or not,, time keep getting better for gay.

Well I have got to say that before writing gay themed stories,, I did wrote 2 fan fictions of that show "early edition" but I didn't made any of the character gay,, personally I don't really like slash fiction as it's denaturing the essence of a character as it was created by its writer,,, that's not very good. but good for those who do write those or like to read those..

I really have to agree on that,, I can really see him come in and save the day. but I'm not sure on how quickly this will happen, the last time we've heard of him, was that he was attempting suicide. Usually, they earn a stay in hospital for a couple of days. Therefore, It won't be an immediate thing,,, maybe once he gets sober enough, or he will reveal things that will uncover his dad.

Well, yes there will be always a chance that the other will cheat on you and that way get infected,,, then it can be bad, and you can hope that you haven't been. But I don't think you can stop on that, I mean say a str8 relationship,, at one point they will stop the condoms,, cause they know they're both safe,, but the same can happen one can cheat the other. I say that if you're in a committed relationship, it's a calculated risk

uh uh, I'm not that bad with food It's not like my food taste is that capricious,, just special only god knows who he directed his comments to.. but you got it right, I think that showing that you love someone is almost more important than saying those 3 infamous words. But only showing your love ain't enough cause, like me, when the other is only showing, you will forget that he loves you. Also if he's only saying "I love you", you can wonder if you really mean something.
