@KristaNope. Needs to continue. If not in this story, in another. There's too much I need to know. This part is over for Joel, you are right, but the story of his life is too compelling not to continue it; too many people too fleshed out to just drop it.

If it's only been 30 chapters to get to September, I'm looking forward to the 30000 to get them to college graduation and kids. Can't wait @Krista. I hope the jokes of this being the end are just that. This is really one of the best reads I've experienced.

"....But there are certain moments—certain ways a person touches you—and—” That indicates that sex happened. Maybe it didn't, but him telling River basically we had sex, that it was all his fault because "you were the one touching me and I would have never done it if you hadn't". I appreciate you saying you didn't mean to construe it that way. Just brings back some bad things.

What's the deal with all the rape content now? This is the 2nd story I will stop reading in the last week. You should really warn readers when rape is involved. Not cool.

No, you're story touched my heart in a way that it needs to be touched right now. With all the hate and just anger in the world, this story brings me back to my momma and grandparents who preached and lived the same love. We need this reminder right now.

He's getting there. The fear he feels isn't easy to get over with the trauma he's experienced. The mom figure is his biggest trauma in the past...he's doing well when taking that into account. Also remember in the story, that timeline so far is about a week.
