Tuesday, April 23 Aunt-C tried to convince me to go to school today. i wanted to wait around to see if Jamie showed up. She was pretty convincing when she said he might show up at school, so i went. i went through the whole day, no Jamie. Just snickers from the most obnoxious kids. He's been missing over 30 hours now. The cops won't do anything until it's been 48 hours, since he's 18. i just know something is wrong, but i don't know what else i can do about it. Wednesday, April 24

This first. I used to be allergic, but mostly grew out of it. If it's been a while since he was around a cat, try going to a shelter and just see how he reacts. You may be surprised. Also, it may only be long haired cats, or even specific breeds. A friend just got a kitten and we visited. The kitty plopped herself on my lap most of the time we were there. I coughed and my eyes watered. It was half Siamese (or is it Thai-ese now? 😁). Their other cats never bothered me. Now onto the story. Having eight cats myself, I thought it was great. I went through what Maison did, although I wasn't cat sitting. Our Calico went missing, when she was really young. I looked all over, walked around outside; nothing. A little while later I was wondering why a couple of the other cats were so interested in the dishwasher. Yep, she had crawled behind it. She still hides, but I don't worry about it so much. I've found pretty much all of her hiding spaces. Looking forward to more chapters after Secret Author is done.

Not big on non-human stories, but what made it interesting, the interaction between the characters.

Same here. I could pick one of the authors I HAVE read a lot of, but then I'm pretty sure I'd be wrong. None seem to fit the genre.

I initially thought of @Mikiesboy's story N'than, N'than being a different species and all. But either the first comment above is a trick to throw us the trail, or it's really not him. Since I have no other idea, I'll go with Mikiesboy.

Thanks. I felt the spelling (very few, I have a hard time leaving those behind) and the non-capitalization of 'I' would add to the authentic feel. I'm glad it was noticed.

I figured it would be hard. I believe, by far, this is my darkest story. Fortunately, the pain isn't inflicted for very long, due to its short length.

While perhaps true, Dak's issue was that he was specifically named after Ms. Fanning. OK, I promise my next story won't have anything bad happen to anyone. And I have a bridge for sale, if you're interested. What can I say, music is important to me. Besides, I think it adds a little bit of humor. And believe me, tis one can use all the humor I can give it.

Seventeen year old Dakota (Dak) Ross was having a little difficulty with the goings on in his life. He’d recently come out as gay to his mother. He hadn’t seen his dad since he was three, or so he had been told by his Uncle Spence. He couldn’t hide his relationship with Jamie Paxler any longer now that they were having sex. Well, just oral sex so far, but he couldn’t hide the goofy grin he wore almost all of the time. Definitely all of the time he and Jamie were together. Sharing that little piece of news with his mother didn’t go over very well at all.

Seems like Devin doesn't want to get shown up again by Mac. Anything he'd do with his father and grandfather, Mac would likely be going along. Since Mac wasn't crazy about doing things with his cousin, I hope Devin doesn't ask to transition into a Ben-clone for sex at any point. Dang, it's been so long since I went to Disney and Epcot, I hardly remember any of it.
