Mixed feelings, exactly! What makes this story extraordinary is @Mikiesboy's exploring character's dilemma between ethical and legal. It is Andrew's 'To be or not to be'. When Andrew decides to go and meet Mr. Black, it is not illegal, but it is ethically wrong. On the other hand, when Andrew decides to buy Matt, it is illegal, but it is ethically and morally justified to help other human being. Till now, Matt was a slave and could not make his own decisions. Now that he is free, his own ethical and legal dilemmas are going to occur. Especially on this trip to Turkey, there is going to be many challenges. Andrew did his job while Matt has been mainly inactive due to his slavery. I think that things are going to change. Matt is taking initiative, and we are going to see how smart his decisions will be.

Unusual yes, but not totally weird. Seems that Matt has some special aura and charm, he has affected everyone who met him. Dante, Ahmat...and some others in chain were quite sympathetic (smitten even) to him. Andrew has been caught by the same 'spells'. But, as you say, Matt has to go and take his life in his own hands. Is he going to come back to Andrew's island, I believe he will. Is he going to come back with Ahmat - I have no idea!

Andrew is quite generous, partially wanting to clear his guilty conscience, I suppose. But what about others? I know he cannot save the world but, doesn't this make Matt privileged?

I guess so, but he must have been based his opinion on something. He is old enough to know is he wanted or not.

Now, I'm totally SHOCKED! Matt IS going to find Ahmat!?!? 😲 And this👇 What's wrong with those parents?!? I would have been worried sick, as Andrew's mother is!

Beautiful story indeed! The roles are lightly reversed than in most of GA stories. There are gay parents and their 'straight-curious' son! 🙂 He is fighting his true nature and his need to be like his dads. The cure is found in 'magical' garden as it has been a place of healing for years. And what is the cure - the cure is LOVE!

Ben is a good friend, but as a straight guy absolutely clueless of agony and nightmare Tim was going through that night! To Ben, Tim and Guy are pathetic but I deeply sympathize with them. Keith's glance into the past awakened lot of memories, and most of them not very nice memories. I like idea of looking for Tim Green. Two guys shared some excitements and scars of gay boys growing up in hostile environment. Closure they might have seems more important to Keith than closure with Maria. Great chapter!

I've searched the story on the net. You're right, beside bizarre details of Drew's (Andrew as it is mentioned in news) death, there is nothing personal, any evidence that he was a person who someone knew, someone loved, somebody was friend with. In this beautiful blog, you've gave him a face and personality. The world has made memory out of his death, you have made a memory out of his life. Thank you!

AMAZING chapter! Matt's reaction is so realistic. You are writing a serious story, not a melodrama with Matt spreading his hands, running to Andrew saying - Thank you my savior! 🤪 Now, there is a serious process ahead. One is with Matt, his physical and psychological rehabilitation, other is dealing with authorities. Quite challenging things to do. If everything is done right, Matt will end up as free man (in his head too) and Andrew is going to mature!
