    Chapter 8

Thanx! I was careful not to get erased by moderation!

    Chapter 8

Niran is really something special - a ruthless businessman and a Don: efficient, cold-blooded, and intimidating. And yet, here he is, tucking Kaleo into bed like a baby, helping him change his clothes, unpacking his things… So tender for a “brute.” 😂 As for Brandon, I definitely didn’t expect this development. I thought Kaleo coming under Niran’s protection would remain a secret for some time. Brandon certainly won’t stay still, but the asshole isn’t nearly as smart or careful as he thinks he is. I’m going to enjoy watching his downfall! 😈
  3. How many chapters are there in this story? Because this very much sounds like the culmination - or at least close to it. After this, there’s no going back - they’re either saved or doomed forever!

    Chapter 13

Robbie seems like an amazing character. Reading the way she talks and thinks, her mannerisms, her big heart, and her strong will make me wonder -how much of yourself have you written into this character @kbois?
  5. This anecdote sounds like a Prompt for a story. 😁

    Chapter 7

Well, well… who do we see here - Jeha and Dr. Axel! 😁 I can’t wait for Kleo to move to Nihan’s estate. It’s going to be a very interesting living arrangement! 😉
  7. It’s not just about how to outsmart the Vane; it’s about how to outsmart the system. Because the goal is freedom - not simply exchanging one prison for another.

    Chapter 6

    Brandon...
  11. At the same time, I really enjoy reading about their bond, but I can’t shake this sense of fear and unease. As I grow more attached to the characters, I’ve already started counting the possible casualties, and it’s such a horrible feeling.
  12. Well, look at that @Boy Mercury X! 💪👏
  13. This is how I imagine it: https://www.chateau-if.fr/en The Count of Monte Cristo - the very first book I fell in love with!
  14. Happy birthday @MichaelS36! 🎂

    Chapter 5

Niran is watching Kaleo from a distance, admiring his devotion to his family and his love for his sisters and nieces... But does he also feel a sense of nostalgia, and perhaps guilt, for neglecting his own son and mother? Beyond their business relationship and obvious attraction, could Kaleo be a bridge for Niran to reconnect with his own family?
  16. I just loved all the movies that I could draw parallels with while reading this chapter. The scene from The Bridge on the River Kwai, when the boys are marching early in the morning, lifting their spirits with “sinful music,” immediately came to mind. Elias reminds me of Robert Redford’s character in The Last Castle, though I’m hoping for a better fate for him. And Carter reminds me of Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society. However, his final encounter with the evil master makes me wonder whether he will be able to stand by the boys until the end - or whether he might betray them. Amazing chapter!!!

    Chapter 4

What a match! With tempers like these, Kaleo and Niran are going to be an atomic bomb in the Kingdom of Aeras! 💥
  18. Amazing chapter, one of the best examples of your style - fantastic dialogue and developments that slowly sail toward a happy ending. This was such an enjoyable read!
  19. A badass Bastien, ready to use his fists to protect what's his! Now I see why you were so reserved about my comment that Bastien was "too sugary"! 😏
  20. A moment of normalcy in a deeply messed-up world!

    Chapter 7

I remembered the main characters and the plot, but it took me a little while to remember all the different relationships and connections woven throughout the story. It's a great story, and I'm glad you're continuing to publish it @lilansui!

    Chapter 12

It’s good that Miles recognized he needed professional help from a therapist. His past is clearly demanding answers and closure. My first impression of this chapter, however, is that Miles still hasn’t found himself. And maybe that’s the answer: before he can find his way home, he has to find his way to himself. There’s a strong sense of aimlessness in this chapter. While Troy is attending school, busy with classes, studying, exams, and building a vision for his future, Miles is working a part-time job and, for the most part, acting like a househusband. It feels as though he doesn’t know how to live or function outside the ranch. He has to discover who he is first. Only then will he know what place Troy has in his life.
