This chapter was exciting. Just started with this one after going through all the other Carter stories recently. Took a couple weeks off back in now and can't wait to see what is found out about the made up scandal. So the winch waited 5 years before she added the father to her claim? Whatever, glad I never had to put up with their BS, guys were more fun!

Not ashamed but possibly bashful are his characters. He can paint a picture in your mind of a hot lawman that always starts with the hat on his head. I was gone from here for almost a year, it was a joy to see this writers name pop into my email! Think the Westerns started with "Sidewinder" him sharing his love for open lands, horses and good men, the order varies as the days do. He gets into the dialect of the characters which makes the read especially fun. Now he does other genres too! First I heard of him was with "Cards on the Table" a great read for a rainy week. Like a tie-dyed Dead-Head I've read it thrice now! Geeze I'm ramblin' tonight... BOC's Secret Treaties is shaking my home! AKA this is not made up, totally true. At my elementary school in the 70s the mashed potatos were not real. They came out of a box and were rehydrated with something like Elmers Glue! I took a side plate of them once that were so bad I twisted it up onto the bottom of the table. Thirty years later, I was there to vote once and glanced at the folded up tables leaning up against the wall. There was a small plastic plate on the bottom of the outside one.
