haha, my thoughts exactly XD but then look at how it looks compared to other asian countries. it does stand out visibly after all. i'm really surprised bu the US outcome, though. i'd think the level of acceptance is much higher there. i mean, it's only a few percentage points higher than poland! (which has a homophobe for a president ) the results for western europe are really sweet those for africa are downright scary O_o what is sad is the fact that overall there is more blue than yellow on the chart i hope it will change sooner rather than later...

hi hi, i'm new to CJames' forum, but afyter reading his "let the music play" i just had to comment great story, really. nice characters (though jon and eric are a bit of asses) and i gotta tell you: helen is my idol XD i ove it how she can grab the boys' balls and squeeze them when needed. up untill now she was doing that metaphorically, but oh boy, once she finds out what the older guys did she will have no objections against doing it for real. brandon and chase are cute ^^ they tip toed aroun eachother a bit at first but they cut it to an acceptable span of time (around a week, i can dea with that). things between them are so great now, i realy don't want it to be spoied >.< so please, please, tell me brandon will be wiser than that and won't go along with the plan. there's just no way it can turn out fine. even assuming that charity would stay silent and that helen se wouldn't find out... it'll be too much of a burden for brandon and he's such an honest guy >.< the weight of that one night would kill him inside. imagine him taking chase for the fist time a few days after he cheated on him? after all this "i want your first time to be perfect" talk? plus that would be like giving charity more ammo. she not only can reveal to the press that chase and brandon are gay and together, she could add that "brandon slept with her, what a promiscious bastard he is". plus if you want them (brandon and charity) to do that i'm sure as hell chase will find out one way or another, probably by walking in on them and i don't believe anything you say. it was an obvious cliffhanger to me. an evil one to add! *crossing her fingers and praying that brandon will choose to inform chase and helen about the guys' screw up* um, i wasn't too rant-y know that i like the way you write and that you have one more fan in me

this is one of my favorites: mano a mano this one too: now i understand this guy is not only great with human body proportions and perspective but has the gift to convey numerous emotions through what he draws/paints. kevin, i agree. the title adds volumes to a painting.

i honestly don't know what to answer here. obviously i wouldn't love my child any less if he or she was gay and i would do anything to support them (though i would lack your guys' experience ^^') but then i don't really know how it is to be a gay teen in my country. i don't think it's easy, may the proof be that i don't know EVEN ONE gay person in real life. there were no gay bashings in my high school if only because there were no gays around. oh, i'm sure there were, but noone was out, noone taked about it, there was no topic. furniture shops must be making fortunes on all those closets... what i know is that our current goverment leaders are all bigtos and would be happies if all homosexuals were 'converted' (or at least stayed in the closet forever and never raised a voice). can you imagine that if you are a teacher, even straight, you cannot be a member of any gay supporting organization? (our previous minister of education was the biggest bigot of them all). don't even try to come out if you are a teacher or have any other job that actually requires you to touch a kid (music or gym instructor for example). there's still lots of people for wchich homosexual (espacially male homosexual) equals pedofile. catholic country, huh... well, things change, obviously, but i dunno if they'll change significantly enough by the time i have my own kids. i know that my friends are not gay haters (most of them know that i'm interested in reading gay fiction and drawing male/male pics and never said anything against it) but as i said i have no idea how it is to be gay here now. (the influx of teen yaoi fangirls doesn't count. they're scary O_o) but i do think that having a gay son would be kinda cool. i can totally imagne myself pointing a hot guy at him and say "what a cookie" (and totally embarrass my poor offspring in public XD). and hey, i can tell if a girl is hot (sth a straight guy will never say about other guy, i always wonder why...) so i can talk girls with a lesbian daughter too (i can even show her how to use a soldering iron ) whatever he or she will i would be happy for them and i'll try to be there if they need me. but i can't reply either yes or no in your poll ^^'

now that i look back it was a quite complicated and highly random process O_o step 01. i found an interesting sounding yaoi-manga title on baka-updates step 02. in order to get it i had to join a certain forum. after i did so and dl-ed what i came for i introduced myself in the introduction thread. step 03. after a couple of posts i mentioned the country i come from and another forum member replied that she knew another girl from there. she also said that the girl writes a great original story and gave me link, saying that i should check it out. step 04. a couple of days later i decided that since i have no book to read on me i may as well try the story. that was the first original gay story i've read. it was good. i got hooked. step 05. i don't remember if it was because one of my lectures was cancelled or i simply had a free period - i found myself with a bit of free time between lectures/classes and decided to spend it on uni's computer reading the mentioned story. i didn't have the story's address though, so i tried to google it by the author's name and the story's title. i got a link to aarinfantasy forum, with a thread "original stories/fanfics recommendations". i found the needed link and remembered the useful thread. step 06. after reading all available chapters of the story (it's still ongoing) i decided to go to the aarinfantasy forum again and look for sth else to read. it was a blind luck that i clicked at the "the oridinary us" (by dom luka, but you all know that ) link. step 07. i read the whole story. then i read all the others dom's stories. then i wanted to know when can i hope for a new chapter so i decided to visit dom's forum. i was an anonymus lurker there for a while (in the meantime i re-read some of dom's stories ^^'). then i noticed that dom wasn't the only one to administrate his forum. i decided to check out who "dkstories" was (as it was somewhere mentioned that he's a GA author too, and a good one ) step 08. i found GA main site and tried to find him there. no such luck ^^' but this is when google comes in handy *smirks* do i have to mention that i got hooked on dan's stories too? step 09. i got tired of lurking and decided that such great authors deserve the feedback. so here i am :] i'm willing to bet my right foot's pinky toe that i'll find even more great authors here ^___^ cuz i can already see that people here are really nice ^_____^ (btw, the manga that i was pursuing turned out pretty much average in the end, but it's thanks to it that i'm here so i won't delete it ) sorry if i'm boring you out with too much details ^^'
