  1. The new kid in town was quite the looker, but for Tim Patterson: gay, seventeen years old and single, he didn't think he'd stand a chance . . . even with his best mate, Ben Walker doing his best to interfere! What he didn't count on, however, was that the new kid in town had a secret of his own, and that the two of them were more alike than anyone could realise. And so it begins. Boy meets boy . . . and everything that they both hoped for looked like it was falling into place. Can they truly make it work? Can they avoid the pitfalls that seem to come with young love? Will they be able to find a way to work it all out?
  2. @chris191070 thank you
  3. @Al Norris @Talo Segura thank you. These guys appear in future stories in the series, so some gaps will be filled in there. I do have a few ideas for an epilogue though, so just let me sleep on it!
  4. @VBlew thank you very much. Song For Guy will start posting in a couple of days.
  5. @weinerdog Pizza Hut was brought to Australia by American businessman Bob La Point in the 1970s I believe. We got our first Pizza Hut in our town in the 80's I think it was, but we did have another small family owned pizza parlour in the 70s that I can recall visiting ... much to my father's disgust! haha @Paladin yes, you can't beat a good home made pizza ... the chain stores we have here (starting with a D) are total crap! I cheat and buy a good base, then add bbq sauce or sometimes tomato chutney (just to be different), then toppings of choice. Love 'em!
  6. Thank you @Summerabbacat. I wasn't familiar with that songs name ... but after finding it on YouTube I can say I do recall it. Perfect fit for the story I think. I'll start posting Song For Guy in the next couple of days ... just hold tight!
  7. Thank you. Glad you liked it.
  8. Thank you ❤️
  9. It came as a huge relief when we finally found ourselves on the same wave, our fingers just feet apart, then inches apart, before finally touching. As I had drawn closer to him I could hear his desperate pleas for my help, which simply spurred me on. I know that if I’d have lost him now, I think I would have more than likely let the sea take me as well. ‘I’m here now, mate,’ I said to him as I clutched at his outstretched hands, then grasped him and held him close. ‘Oh, Scott,’ he
  10. I don't wish anything bad on anyone, but I will admit that it is hard to have sympathy for people who ignore warning after warning. No matter what you do, you can't fix ignorance or stupidity.
  11. Yes! They do an amazing job and don't get the credit they deserve ... they just seem to get ignored by the swimmers
  12. Yes, and the biggest percentage of those who lose their lives are not actually Australian's ... usually overseas visitors unfamiliar with the conditions and the dangers of the waterways. And it's not just the surf that can be dangerous ... many fatalities occur in inland waterways, which can be equally dangerous.
  13. About twenty minutes after leaving the caravan park and after pulling up at one of the small corner stores on the edge of town to pick up some eats for the day, we pulled into Diggers Cove. It was a quiet little place out on the south side of town and was one of the few designated nudist beaches that we had in the area. It was also the one beach in the area that most of the gay population tended to visit. Weekends were when it was usually busiest, when it was mainly frequented by peopl
  14. After finishing in the kitchen, I headed into the bathroom to clean my teeth, while Justin headed for the toilet. Even at this early stage, it felt good to be sharing my life with someone once more. I had someone to talk to, and to talk back to me, and that closeness gave me a new spring in my step. It was while I was thinking about this and scrubbing my teeth that I suddenly felt a warm hand on my arse, which was quickly followed by those same warm hands working their way around my to

    Chapter 2

I have this feeling it might be tough and needs to go through a tenderizer 😃
  16. It was well after midnight when Justin and I returned to the caravan park, where we found all lights to be out in the vans and cabins, including that being occupied by Justin’s parents. ‘What do you want to do?’ I asked him as we pulled to a stop in the carport. ‘Do you want to go back down there? Or you can stay up here in the house if you like.’ ‘The house,’ he answered. ‘If that’s alright with you?’ ‘That’s what I thought you’d say,’ I replied. ‘And yeah, of course it’s alright

    Chapter 2

Loving the way this is shaping up! It has a sense of an old frontier and the adventures ahead will definitely be worth the trip! Also loving the way the relationship between Jem and Nico is shaping up! Keep it coming please!
  18. So glad you picked up on the Aaron thing ... he appears later in the series 🙂 Thank you for your comments kind sir.
  19. They were all waiting on the verandah of my house when we returned that afternoon, Justin’s parents and Sally, their faces pallid and etched with concern. ‘You ready for this, mate?’ I asked Justin. He looked up at them and nodded grimly. I pointed the nose of the old Ford into the carport and pulled it to a stop, as the three of them headed down the steps towards us. ‘What are you going to tell them?’ I asked. ‘I’ve been thinking about that on the drive back here,’ he a

    Chapter 1

What a fascinating world you have weaved @Geron Kees. Looking forward to seeing where this adventure takes us!
  21. Thank you everybody for your very thoughtful comments. It has taken a while, but we are finally getting to the heart of Justin's issues, though you can expect a few twists and turns yet. Far too many young people have to go through what Justin has experienced, and far too many parents are clueless as to exactly what their kids are going through. We could debate options and solutions all day long, but the fact of the matter is that parents really need to wise-up and think more about their kids and less about themselves and 'what was done way back when'. Anyhow, that's my two-bobs worth! Thank you again to everyone who has reacted or commented on this and other chapters. It means a lot to me. I never thought that joining this site would give me so much interaction with readers and other writers. That's not something you get anywhere else! MP
  22. I felt so helpless and confused when I left the cabin, not knowing if I should go look for Justin and Peter, or if I perhaps should just leave them to sort things out for themselves. Then, as I trudged back up towards the house, I remembered that if they hadn’t been able to sort things out between themselves so far, what hope would they have of being able to do it now? Assuming that is, Peter had even managed to find Justin this afternoon. When I reached the gateway to my carport, Sall
  23. You're getting warmer!
  24. Justin looked from Sally to me, and back again. Within seconds his complexion had gone from a healthy tan to a ghostly white. ‘It’s not what you’re thinking, Sally,’ I said tersely. ‘Sure, whatever you say, Scott.’ ‘I’m serious, Sally. If you don’t believe me ring Tom down at the pub, he’ll tell you all about calling me at one thirty in the morning.’ I looked at Justin and noticed that now he was blushing. ‘You don’t have to worry about me, boys, I won’t tell a soul,’ s
  25. @flesco thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The next in the series is currently being posted. It's called The Rip. Cheers.
