The Seventeenth Summer by Mark 'Ponyboy' Peters

For sixteen year old Danny Anderson life is about to change. School is out and summer is here and hanging with his friends is all he wants to do, but there are some things he just can't share with his best friend, Nate. And then a handsome young stranger, not much older than he is, arrives in town and his world is turned upside down. The summer was now turning into something he could only ever dream of as he begins a journey of self-discovery filled with new adventures and experiences, a new friendship and just a hint of danger.

This story contains adult, sexual content and some violence.  Reader discretion advised.
Set in the 'Thompsonville' universe, 'The Seventeenth Summer' is a part of my Thompson River Tales series. This story was originally published online as 'Sandmen'.

I'm really glad that @Mark Ponyboy Peters decided to upload this story. It's been several years but I'm happy to read this bitter-sweet tale, once again.

If this is your first time reading, hold onto your cajones! It gets a little wild.

Another of my favorites that I've read many times over the years. I can't wait to see where you'll take us in the Epilogue!
