The characters are so well defined I feel like I know them. The story also pulls out emotions without being obvious about it. Thank you Boy Mercury X for sharing this with us all. I hope you will consider a follow up story with Sam after Max goes to college. Boy Mer Boy Mercury X

I am happy the doctor mentioned the veteran clinic at the hospital in front of Marvin. I hope Marvin can convince Kent to go. I hope Marvin and Pete meet soon and possibly unite to help Kent. I just feel like Kent will accept help if presented to him by people who he trusts.

Happy to see a friendship with Devon, Marvin, and Kent continue building. I hope Pete keeps a close eye on Kent both health wise and inheritance wise.

Not quite sure how I feel about his death yet. I am glad the kids seem to have dealt with it though.

I must admit that I started reading this chapter two other times and could not get into the story. I told myself today I would read the entire chapter because I have enjoyed everything else you have posted here. Now I am pissed off at myself for not reading the entire chapter the first time. I plan on reading the rest of the story over the next few days. I am sorry I doubted you @CasualWanderer82. -

Great to see Marvin taking an interest in Kent. I hope he can at least put a crack in the wall Kent has built. The will reading was interesting, although we do not know the real outcome of what it means for Kent yet.
