  1. I love that song, Jamie! However, right now I'm listening to some hard rock, Metallica "The Four Horsemen" to be exact.
  2. Jamie, that guy looks hot. I definitely prefer a guy to have a hairy chest. It's a lot more appealing to me. As for tv, they do show some hairy guys at times. I often have to pick my eyes off the floor and clean up some drool.
  3. I wouldn't mind fixing that problem. I'd train him right.
  4. He certainly is dreamy.
  5. You forgot the hair, Gary. Oh, I wonder if he has a nice butt too.
  6. That's great, Benji!
  7. Yeah, Gary told me was a hottie. It's too bad he's straight. I'd love to make out with him.
  8. I'm celebrating the completion and posting of my first novel. I am also reviving this thread.
  9. Gary, I just saw the picture of Steve from the car site. He is hot.
  10. Thanks Gary! I appreciate your beta reading and zeta reading. Jan, I'd also like to thank you for editing. I took the liberty of posting an overview of Dark Earth: The Prophecy in my blog. Feel free to leave comments in the thread or PM me. You can also email tltigerman2@yahoo.com or Tim@Tiger-Tales.com.
  11. I have just posted the final chapter of Dark Earth: The Prophecy. You can find it here. I also realize how some readers only like to read complete novels, and here it is from the beginning. For those who have not read it, I have a brief discussion of major characters and my motivations as an author. Imagine a world where the sun never shines and there is a constant threat of death. Dark Earth: The Prophecy is my first completed novel, and I loved exploring this world and bringing it to life. Julian, the main character in the story, has extraordinary power, and he is only eighteen. His whole life has been shrouded in mystery to him, and he has no idea just how powerful he really is. Additionally, he has grown up without his mother, and his aunt and uncle have hidden a lot from him. As he discovers the truth about his past and his power, he struggles to accept who he really is. Cristobel has similar circumstances as his brother and his brother
  12. Wilshire "Special"
  13. Go Gary! Now, I am back to being a reader for a little while. I'm checking out Roommates by Krista. It's good so far.
  14. Sinead O'Connor "Nothing Compares 2 U"
  15. He's a bit of a night owl. He's also zeta reading the final chapter of Dark Earth: The Prophecy today.
  16. That's interesting, Steve. To me, Julie was lonely as her relationship with Joe seems to be deteriorating. They don't seem to communicate well either, so that is a sign that all is not well. Blaming only Julie is rather unfair, because Joe is hardly an innocent party. As for Cody and his hook-ups, I think he still loves Jacob and is simply trying to fill the void. At the same time, I think Joe is more into Cody on an emotional level. That trumps all sexuality as far as I am concerned.
  17. Skid Row "Slave to the Grind"
  18. Jan, that could be something to do with the goat in his real life. As authors, we often leave pieces of ourselves in our stories. This is probably an example of that. Now, I must say that I disagree with YaP. I happen to like serials, and there is no way I would want to wait to read it, because his stories are too much fun to read, including the evil cliffhangers. When there was an evil cliffhanger in Chapter 19, I defended its usage while others were angry.
  19. I think people are beating Sam up too much. How many times have we heard it said, "You can't help who you love." No matter what, Sam is always going to truly love Jonah. This story, like some of my other favorites, seems to touch on one of my favorite elements, irony. Great job, Menzo!
  20. Oops, I fixed it, but he was cruel to Brandon as well. I mean... the love of his life was kidnapped. Only the goat is capable of such evil as far as I know.
  21. I happen to think it is a good idea. People can have a general idea about what they are about to read. This could potentially increase readership.
  22. Two cliffhangers in a row... though I suspected it would be. Well, at least Eric is not dead. Still, he is injured, and that means there's still a price to pay! Speaking of which, CJ has been even more cruel to poor Chase. He's been kidnapped by a psychopath. The tactic with the phone is such a typical one, but it was nicely done. Great chapter, you EEEVIL goat.
  23. You should not lust after married men, Gary.
  24. Well, I'd have to see it to make any judgments, Viv. Anyway, I look forward to part two.
  25. You're the expert. I suppose that means that any paragraphs or sentences after a supposed cliffhanger negate the said cliffhanger.
