  1. Congratulations and good luck to you both. One piece of advice... move closer together as soon as possible.
  2. Good grief. Those girls should be spayed. It definitely makes me like being gay just a little bit more. I know that if I have a kid it will be planned, and I will have a say.
  3. There's nothing wrong with that, Steve.
  4. TLC "Digging on You"
  5. What do you expect? Sure, Steve occasionally writes an evil cliffhanger, but even he will admit to your superiority. I've asked him.
  6. Happy Birthday, Viv. I hope you have a wonderful day.
  7. Beyonce "Me, Myself, and I"
  8. I better watch my back. Anyway, I think you'll pull way ahead of Drew.
  9. Congratulations guys!
  10. I wouldn't mind more feedback personally, even if a reader doesn't like it. The audience for a series like Dark Earth may not be the same crowd that's into teen stories. However, there is some readership, so it would be nice. Anyway, I'm not going to sulk about it. There are a lot of other possible problems that could be much worse.
  11. This one is good too.
  12. That was Shadowgod's line.
  13. Gary, he said he was tone deaf. That's hardly being secretive.
  14. I don't think there is a cure for being tone deaf, Gary.
  15. Happy birthday, John. Keep in mind that in Australia, it is already your birthday.
  16. Kelly Clarkson "Low"
  17. It certainly was. I think we should do it again some time.
  18. That's a great idea actually. I'm not sure if there's a way to calculate that except in Word when it's in a .doc format. Thus any author submitting it in HTML would definitely need to use the feature and make sure the word count is in the email.
  19. Mary Chapin Carpenter "I Am a Town" I'm a town in Carolina, I'm a detour on a ride For a phone call and a soda, I'm a blur from the driver's side I'm the last gas for an hour if you're going twenty-five I am Texaco and tobacco, I am dust you leave behind I am peaches in September, and corn from a roadside stall I'm the language of the natives, I'm a cadence and a drawl I'm the pines behind the graveyard, and the cool beneath their shade, where the boys have left their beer cans I am weeds between the graves. My porches sag and lean with old black men and children Their sleep is filled with dreams, I never can fulfill them I am a town. I am a church beside the highway where the ditches never drain I'm a Baptist like my daddy, and Jesus knows my name I am memory and stillness, I am lonely in old age; I am not your destination I am clinging to my ways I am a town. I'm a town in Carolina, I am billboards in the fields I'm an old truck up on cinder blocks, missing all my wheels I am Pabst Blue Ribbon, American, and "Southern Serves the South" I am tucked behind the Jaycees sign, on the rural route I am a town I am a town I am a town Southbound.
  20. I agree with Libby here. The part where he jumped just made me want to cry. I actually started to. Anyway, I thought it was a great story, Tiff. I wish I had more to add, but everyone else said exactly what I would have said.
  21. Thanks Libby. I wrote The Aimless Search when I was feeling really low. I'm glad to know you are listening. Reading my own words at this point seems almost chilling as I look at it from the perspective of the reader. I can definitely see why you might feel sad. Luckily, I feel a little better now.
  22. Natasha Bedingfield "Pocketful of Sunshine"
  23. Drew, as far as I know he is straight, but can I not dream or at least admire his beauty?
  24. 2 Live Crew "Get the F**k Out My House"
  25. Happy Birthday and good luck with the muse!
