It is interesting to see Josh from a new perspective. I hate to do comparisons, but I am reminded of a TLW and ITFB with how things were different with Owen. This is further proof of how switching from 1st to 3rd can actually work. Screw the nay-sayers. As for the jealousy Mike... I think you should draw inspiration instead. You did a great job on that anthology piece you did a while back. You need to quit being down on yourself. So, when are you going to have another story for me to dive into?
Now, it's been a while since we've talked. How's life?
Yes, I'm a little but I just had to comment on that. I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter. This one was great.
That is an interesting little poem there. I don't know whether to be flattered or to be scared. Anyway, I have finally gotten back to poetry. I would like to think I am improving in this area. I look forward to everyone seeing my latest one.
This is definitely going to be an interesting story. It's obvious that Luc is still haunted by his past. It makes one wonder how he will climb out of the tomb of his own heart and rejoin the living. All I have to say is that I want more.
There's no doubt that Steve is in the top three. The other two are dkstories and C James. There is no doubt that they have the most evil cliffhangers. Jack Scribe had a good one early on in the year though. However, I think even Steve would say that C James has the most brutally devious cliffhangers. He has only admitted to using an evil cliffhanger outright once that I am aware of.
Very large? The confirmed deaths so far in my stories, including the winter anthology, is four. That leaves one that I cannot confirm or deny. That is still 100,000+ less than your death toll. Now when I mention a death toll, I only include innocent blood. Anyway, Jacob was brought back to life in the re-write. Therefore, he does not count as part of a death toll.
That thought is downright scary to me.
Let's see. Someone is more than likely dead, but we have no idea who that person is. It's funny that already the King of Evil Cliffhangers is denying that this is an evil cliffhanger. Clearly an unidentified death is an evil cliffhanger. Granted, we had a much more devious a few chapters back. However, I suspect things will become far more perilous before they improve.
David Bowie is a bisexual. Okay, I think I have one that was not on the list. He is one of my favorite singers and he was the lead singer of Savage Garden. Darren Hayes is gay, and he got married to a man. I love listening to his songs considering that they're about man on man love.
Nothing bad has happened to them yet. I do happen to remember some of the good guys getting hurt a lot worse in For the Love. I have read it.
It seems to be only a matter of time before something bad happens that threatens their lives. I can see someone, for example, being shot by Mario.
However, that is nothing compared to 100,000 people dying in a nuclear explosion.
Actually, prose is not poetry, but prose can have an element of poetry. I happen to add a bit of poetry to my prose, but I could never be like Shakespeare. I just write. I do tend to add figurative language, and that is certainly a good thing. Can someone go over-the-top with poetic elements in prose? They absolutely can and do. Writing like Shakespeare would not be a good idea. A writer must discover his or her own voice.
You made us all think that the main characters were all going to die! I still wonder if it was an evil cliffhanger mixed with foreshadowing of their demise.
I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to finish the anthology story. I'm having a hard time writing very much at a time. I'm also going to be moving next week, and that does not give me a lot of time. Add the personal issues I'm having right now, and you have one uninspired writer. I am also not likely to spend much time online except for my classes. I really need to cut down on my online time for a while. I have no idea how long either. I'm not saying that I'll be gone for a long time, but I probably won't be around much for the next week or so.
