  1. You're right about that. Innocent lambs don't create evil cliffhangers. I guess that eliminates both of us from being classified as lambs. And CJ, don't even go there. Don't forget what we discussed a while back.
  2. That was my result from it. If I remember correctly, there was another ENFJ. That seems like it was so long ago. Anyway, that test did teach me a lot about myself and my personality.

    A Risky Move

I just finished my cultural diversity final project. The subject was "Race and Your Community". I did talk about racial issues in this town and rural communities in general, but how can I talk about minorities and fail to mention my own minority group? Here is the text in my final project. Here is a sample:
  4. I love Kylie Minogue! My taste in music is what some would call ecclectic. Some of it is stereotypically gay while the rest would probably make some question my credentials. I am a huge rock fan, and I like to listen to R&B/Hip Hop. But then, I love classical music, and I love my pop divas. What can I say? I love music, except for polka and elevator music. I also have to love Judy Garland, Celine Dion, and Bette Midler.
  5. Pearl Jam "Black" Jane's Addiction "Jane Says" Btw, I agree with Kevvers. Rihanna is awesome.
  6. Possessive is definitely not a good thing. As a matter of CLiFf I must state firmly my objections to Cody being with a possessive jerk. Well, Julie does have a right to be somewhat concerned. There are guys out there who cheat. Joe does not seem to be one of them, but that type of thing can be devastating. I actually addressed such devastation in a story recently (though in the context of the story, it was not actually "cheating"). Getting back to the topic at hand... Julie is not a nice girl, and Joe should drop her and go after Cody instead.
  7. I don't see much sense in dyeing body hair. That's just weird. As far as body hair, I like men to have body hair except on the back. It's a big turn on to me, especially chest hair.
  8. I remember a while back we had a link to a test for personality types in another thread. I think that test had a good impact, because it tells people more about themselves. As far as personal demons, I have a few mostly because of stuff that has happened to me in my life. Someday I'm going to add some stuff from my life to a story, but that's not going to be easy, and I'm not ready. I do know myself well, and that's more than can be said of many others in the world.
  9. I like cliffhangers even though I rarely if ever use them. I just happen to appreciate them in LTMP.
  10. Maroon 5 "This Love", "She Will Be Loved", "Wake Up Call", and "Makes Me Wonder"
  11. Marylin Manson "Rock is Dead" Def Leppard "Pour Some Sugar on Me"
  12. That was an good chapter, Sacha. I found it particularly interesting what they brought to school.
  13. Steve, you said it! We must never forget the awesome cliffhanger from Chapter 19. Not only did it create a stir in the forum, it caused a certain cat to emerge from the shadows.
  14. Josh Groban "Un Dia Llegara" Spice Girls "Viva Forever"
  15. That was an interesting chapter. I'm really not liking the government goons. Just as they do in real life, they seem to want to stick there noses in stuff that isn't their business. I venture to say that Dark Mages consider themselves above the law, whereas the Gray Mages and Light Mages seem more willing to make concessions.
  16. GNR "November Rain"
  17. There's no doubt about that. I, for one, will scream if The Scar is somehow redeemed like Eric #1.
  18. I agree. You never know what evil cliffhanger is being cooked up by goats and dark ones. While most cringe, I actually look forward to them.
  19. I'll have to check that one out! Rihanna "Shut Up and Drive">>> I get the impression that this song is not about cars. Green Day "Time of Your Life"
  20. Don't you mean nineteen? And yes, it will be interesting to see how things work out for Wilde. It seems the level of confusion is high.
  21. Elliot Yamin "I'll Wait for You" Madonna "La Isla Bonita"
  22. Actually, I don't think The Scar is evil. I know The Scar is evil. First of all, he used to be an arms dealer. Secondly, he has a nuclear weapon at his disposal and is ready to use it as leverage against the government. Oh, he almost killed Eric in cold blood. He's responsible for actual deaths already. Now, if those acts do not make him an antagonist (and evil), I've been missing something.
  23. I recently read it too. It's a good example of how well a 1st person story can be. There are others on GA in 1st person that I think are wonderful. The important things are the story being told and how well it's told. A good author knows what POV a story needs to be in even it that means a re-write. I had to rewrite one already. I had only started the 1st chapter. I ended up scrapping it and switching to first. I do have a thing or two to learn about 3rd, but I am gradually increasing my comfort level with it. In time, I'll probably write mostly in 3rd, although I would never take 1st person out of my playbook. 2nd is the one I refuse to do. I don't see how a story like that could ever work for me. There is a 2nd person story that I am going to read at some point just to see what it's like, but I would probably never write in it. 4th is also out of my comfort zone.
  24. Of course you would do such a thing. I still say it was an evil cliffhanger, because Eric has yet to face the full extent of Helen's wrath.
  25. I'm always ready for a new chapter. Zardoc? He's evil. Oh if he shows up, things are going to read nasty in a hurry.
