  1. It is likely something like that could mean therapy for Will, but I think he'll be alright in any event. On a side note, I was supposed to be born on the forty-first anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
  2. I was kind of surprised about the whipping. It does make me wonder. Is Granger going to be more of a strict disciplinarian than he wants his officers to believe? Then again, Fitzwilliam seems to want free reign, something he shall not have. Granger is surely going to try to get his hands on the doctor too. Hmmmm... it might mean they'll actually play doctor together. That could be nice and kinky.
  3. Well, a friend of mine told me that his daughter has cancer, and from the sound of it, it's spread all through her body, as in it sounds like it's stage 4. It really sucks. I like to help people when I can, but the possible impending death of a child... I mean, how do you respond to that? I have no idea what to say. I don't have any kids yet, but I know I'd be a total mess in a situation like that. As horrible as it is, and more importantly, as difficult as it is to talk about, has anyone here been through something like this? I really have no idea what to say. Can someone point me in the right direction?
  4. f**k? How ironic a word for you to use in that instance. As there is no make up sex, there's no f**king either. Hoskins, as to what you were saying. There's a political forum for a reason, and it is heavily moderated for yet another. Expressing your views is a good thing. Personally attacking another member of GA is another matter. That line is often blurred, but I can say this. The forum moderation team does a great job at sorting it all out. However, there have been times when admins have had to step in, but that seems to be a rarity that extra actions have to be taken. They don't like to do it. People get plenty of chances around here, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a select few are skating on thin ice nonetheless, so I thought I would share some insights.
  5. If views can be expressed without insulting people or being disrupted, there's not a problem. In the past, I've been guilty of insulting people, but if whenever I am tempted now, I simply avoid saying anything at all. Well, there was a time when I wasn't nearly as active on the site. It was a good thing for me to do that. I was later able to come back with a better perspective and greater appreciation for everyone as a whole. I even mended a few fences so to speak. And believe me, I can piss people off, maybe even more than you can.
  6. So it seems recently that some people around here cannot seem to play well with others. Take it from me. Calling people names or publicly attacking them is not the answer. There's no reason to go around calling people names simply because you disagree with them. I realize that people have different views on things. That's a good thing. I don't expect people to agree with me about everything. I learned the hard way about what can happen when one goes too far. At one time, some people even wanted me banned. Luckily, I was given a chance to clean up my act. At that time, I was unstable, but the way I expressed it was wrong. Taking out my frustrations with life on others proved to be more of a problem than it was worth. If you find that you can't play well with others, then quite frankly, it may be time to take a break from the site and spend your time elsewhere until such time that it doesn't bother you as much. I've noticed that there's actually a great tolerance for misdeeds here, but it has been done. People have been banned from this site. So if you want to continue to be a part of the community, calm down and hold your tongue. Take it from me, people. It's not worth it. That kind of attention isn't a good thing.
  7. The only way, and this is quite a stretch is if it turned out that Billy faked his own death, but to do so, he would need yet another look alike, kill him, and let them think it's him. Considering the complexity of it, that's pretty far-fetched that a teen could do something like that. Plus, it would mean that he's, quite frankly, a monster.
  8. That's awesome! I probably won't get to read it until tomorrow night though... damn 12-hour shifts.
  9. Well, the fingers are in there, but so is the rest of the hand. I don't care to be wearing Depends by the time I'm 50.
  10. Actually, that's not why I like Robbie. There's only 4 things that should ever be in one's ass: fingers, tongues, sex toys, and penises. Then again, no character is perfect.
  11. There are some powerful spells on both sides. Remember, Dumbeldore was considered the most powerful wizard of his time. I'd use an assortment of spells to be honest. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that if you go too far to the dark side, you cannot use the Patronus, which is indeed an extremely powerful spell, one that can even be used for secret communication and driving away demontors (and some other creature that I forget the name of)
  12. Mike, tone of voice plays into this issue. Also, when it's almost constant, it also gives people the impression, correct or not, that you are intentionally being mean to them, and there may be some truth to it. Why? It could be that a subconscious part of you wants to hurt people and push them away. That may be something for you to really reflect upon and re-evaluate. I hope that helps.
  13. It's unlikely that Wilcox would still be a midshipman, isn't it? And why would he request to be under Granger? If he got on Granger's bad side, it would mean certain death. I doubt he'd risk it.
  14. Chase, he happens to be right. And why do you feel the need to name call anyway? It really isn't necessary. As for the CAP series, it is in fact one of the best series I've came across on GA. He's right up there with Dom in my opinion. The stories take place in the past and cover major events in history, ones that often affect the characters in many ways. You should read it starting with Chronicles of an Academic Predator. This is only a suggestion though.
  15. I just read the first chapter. It's shaping up to be a good one indeed. However, I'm already left wanting more as the identity of this midshipmen is unknown. I happen to think it must be someone who's f**ked Granger in the past (in a good way).
  16. Not as much as getting into his pants would be.
  17. Tiger

    Gay Challenged

You're a real man. Too bad you're too old for me.
  18. Well, now that If It Fits is finished, it is foreseeable that there'll be chapters of Master and Commander soon.
  19. And selected.
  20. And still a horny bastard I bet.
  21. You forgot to add "none of the above".
  22. And a happy ending there was. I totally called it! It looks as thought there was love, maybe lust... okay both between Cody and Brian. Anyway, I hope this is not the end. After all, surely there's some drama left to unfold.
  23. On the news, they talked about these people who work for the Grand Prairie Police Department. Apparently, an email was going around, one that contained an image of Air Force 1 with the N word on it, you know the really bad one that rhymes with bigger? Anyway, my mom said she had seen the email in question and thought it was funny. This makes me sad that she would find it funny, especially when she's supposedly befriended black people before. I don't find it funny at all.
  24. I have never used Opera. I am set in my ways, and I don't see myself switching. Wow... the majority is still using XP? I guess people still don't like Vista. I am used to it personally. I particularly like the menu set-up. Just type in what you want and before you even finish typing, you find what you want. The Control Panel is the only part I still don't like.
  25. Firefox is, by far, the best browser. Occasionally, I also use Slimbrowser.
