I love reading this well written tale…… but… All going well until the last line… which made me think - Inspector Lawson - did I miss something earlier? so re-read, and enjoyed again but no Inspector Lawson… A new policeman? i await revelation - maybe he is delving back into things their parents death etc. and found a treasure trove belonging to the boys, or maybe he needs to get the boys to Brisbane for a hearing of some sort… that would mean another visit or visits for the 4 lovebirds… in Stingray Heads. I await with bated breath…….

Thank you for a wonderful story and a great conclusion. I’m left thinking of the confrontation between Timmy and his Father… as surely there will be… when the Facebook pictures and reports get back… I’d love to be a fly on the wall for that one 🤔🤣🤔 The two main ‘couples’ and their exploits over the final years in school and beyond, I’m sure is ground for a fertile mind to make further tales of the ups and downs of teenage love and strife. once again many thanks for a great read.

Thank you once again for a gripping tale. setting the scene for what should be a great enjoyable end of term party…. but there are so many leads in earlier chapters that may lead to some form of mayhem. I do hope that JJ & D don’t end up back in hospital! However the alliances that have been forming should make for an happy outcome for the two lovers.

Another great chapter with great insight into teenage angst… once again a cliffhanger ending - what will happen at the party? Will Mr. P show up…. Or Timmy & co cause mayhem…. Or do we get the great reveal of the cliffhanger at the end of Ch13 …. Or? I wait with baited breath for the next chapter of this well written tale of families ( or communities) coming to terms with reality.

A beautifully written story, I almost stopped reading when it got to sorting out the clothes! I'm so glad that I carried on reading, as the tale unfolded it touched on so many situations that I have had to deal with as a retired naval officer. I was almost in tears towards the end. Thank you for this wonderful piece of penmanship,

I feel that Timmy’s messages - now that ‘JJ’s’ Dad has a copy could this be a case for the ‘father’s Union’ to take action - in small towns where most parents know or know of each other - possibly more effective and less problematical than Police action.

Another great read from ‘ponyboy’ it looks as if there is a possibility of another ‘gang’ forming which may form a protective shield against Timmy and Co. thinking back 2 lads in the school washroom - could there be an ‘outing’ - possibly a previously introduced character!… i look forward to reading the next chapter in this gripping tale of schoolboy angst…..

Chapter 13 - Not an unlucky number!! Looks like it’s going to be a very lucky time for 4 youngsters. I feel we may get further visits to Stingray Heads in the not too distant future. Two blossoming Teenage romances developing in the surf maybe, or maybe some beautiful artwork on surfboards? many thanks for a beautifully written chapter to this gripping tale.

I’m wondering - if the attic rummage may produce some old documents - possibly old wills that could resolve the status of the house, could it be that the Father’s will conditions could be overcome by an older will from a grandfather, or similar? Or maybe some other priceless artwork? looking forward to Freddy’s culinary adventure - a young chef in the making? Thank you for the work you put in to making these stories so readable. -
So JJ is growing up….. I look forward to two events that I feel are fast approaching 1 a visit to the hairdresser, whilst not expecting a ‘short back and sides’ I think there will be a smart looking JJ 2 a visit with Dallas’s Father… This could prove enlightening - one thinks of there are none so passionate as the converted!! Thank you for this great story with so many twists and turns a real enjoyable read,

Glad to hear the talks project is going well. The ‘ménage à cinque’ sounds like an interesting storyline…. Maybe a renaming of ‘The Towers’ into ‘pink condo’ may be on the cards!! Thanks for the great story I’m enjoying the country roads where one doesn’t know what’s round the next bend.

Their rescue will be much simpler, they have communication, shelter & light. Also they know where they are located, with trained Park Rangers available.

If they can keep the fire alight - it will make an Ariel search much simpler. One can only hope that the park rangers can ‘scramble’ air search units in quick time. JJ’ s heroic actions allied to Dallas injuries will have left both lads in a very poor physical state, as well as in emotional turmoil, so one can only hope they can be removed to hospital quickly.

I’m enjoying this excellent story, with so many twists and turns. i just hope that with mid winter in Australia the story doesn’t also go cold. I’m so hoping that further developments hit new chapters soon. 🤔

Well, well, do I detect a possible family increase by one? The home for waifs and strays is surely going to be a reality and I look forward to the tales and histories of the foundlings.

Another great read, whilst much of the plot was expected The way that the events, were described was vivid and believable. i look forward to the great moving day - I know that this may be some time off as the speed of conveying property can make snails into speed merchants!

A other great read, with old friendships cemented and some newer ones kindled in the light of the fire ( and fireworks?) I wish there was a way to put the karaoke as a sound track to the story 🤔😊😊

Another mind provoking chapter - I wonder if the best therapy for Josh could be being with Olivia allong with Daniel in a big safe family surrounding. the only negative thing I picked up - I don’t know if it will be part of the story - but Adrian’s ‘spilling the beans’ to a person outside the family -/could this have unwanted consequences? I await the next episodes into this great story.

A well written good read…… A menage à cinque? middle aged men doing teenage angst? With a real teen there too! I look forward to further developments. Maybe a piano recital in the grange to get more tongues wagging and Venetia throwing another tantrum… come to think most of the middle aged characters are acting like kids throwing tantrums - I love it - 🤔😅🥹😅- 12 comments
