Chapter 2 - Road Trip
Lynx003 commented on Mark Ponyboy Peters's story chapter in Chapter 2 - Road Trip
That applies to humans as well as our equine friends. On Long trips if I don’t get a break, with water and a walk about every couple of hours my aged legs and back tend to cramp up very painfully. 12 hour flights 😵💫😵💫 -
Chapter 1 - The Call Goes Out
Lynx003 commented on Mark Ponyboy Peters's story chapter in Chapter 1 - The Call Goes Out
Well @Mark Ponyboy Peters a completely different country, also a completely different style of writing! Still very enjoyable reading. i wonder where all these disparate characters will fit in, ( and pair off?) I do recall from my youth that there is something about working with horses that can bring forth some romantic feelings that may be considered ‘different’ from the accepted norm. I look forward to developments.. -
Many comments about Rico having little interest in Kurtis - but this is only night number 1 What will morning and night 2 have in store? As an ex military officer I feel that the General would be mortified to hear that his son was the ‘school bully’! I’m sure the truth will out and the showdown could be interesting! Thank you for this intriguing tale.

More houses & drawing a line
Lynx003 commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in More houses & drawing a line
A man obviously educated, as was I, in the era before the internet, mobile phones, tablets etc. All written on paper and pen/pencil. I still do too! -

Oh dear… house hunting for a disparate family… I know how soul searching it can be just for a single man, but for a ‘family’ of 3 men of differing tastes and a lad with a penchant for all that is ‘nature’ I feel that or beloved author has captured the events perfectly. i do hope that our ‘family’ do move forward and purchase, the property has so much potential for developing storylines. One can only hope that Toby gets to plant his orange trees - they take many years to develop so there is great potential for more many chapters in this tale of amazing characters!- 17 comments

Well a beautiful scene to start the chapter 2 teens forming and ‘sealing’ a true friendship. I expect to see a more firm seal being applied sooner rather than later. A little knowledge of self-defence plays a massive dividend and when the reports circulate around the school, as I’m sure they will, that the ‘School bully-in-chief’ met his comeuppance then I’m sure that our hero’s standing will rise rapidly.

Chapter 32 - Some Resolution
Lynx003 commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 32 - Some Resolution
However with all the speculation about Mr. Black, also Johnathon - there was a ‘throwaway line’ that Johnathon had an appointment with Nathan… maybe, just maybe @Paladin will use this to start enlightening us all… 😎 😎 -

I feel that there is no need to await hopefully - Rick seems to have an unending flow of the sparkling white wine! -

Another great chapter by @Paladin it looks as if the case against the ‘rogue’ solicitors has been investigated well by the police, and I look forward to how Natasha will wiggle her way through it all. As to the second drone footage which has not been seen by ‘our team’, I’m wondering if those involved in the earlier scam cruises, or others, maybe trying to get evidence some illegal action occurring on the day trip to obelisk bay, with the youngsters, albeit of age of majority. in which case well done the shark! However I’m wondering if Johnathon was just an unfortunate person in the wrong place at the right time, or was he part of a surveillance operation - that went dramatically wrong? Great writing @Paladin that has left me with many thoughts including a question as to links with What brings us together, with reference to the arrests.- 32 comments

Thank you @Mark Ponyboy Peters once again, for this great tale. Many loose ends tied up a few left to be spliced, I hope, into future tales of T’ville. The biggest of these I feel is Casey, could there be a tale in the future about his wanderings and maybe redemption!!? I look forward to your future tales, I do ask that if they refer or rely on previous of your writings, that you maybe have reference in a preface so we can read again and get up to speed before we embark on the latest literary masterpiece?

Wonderful news - more tales from @Mark Ponyboy Peters are promised. 👍👍👍

I find that @Mark Ponyboy Peters tales often have such ‘throwaway lines’ that later have great significance. Then on the other hand maybe just a passing statement to fill space!!

Constable Shane Leggatt - who we readers remember well from previous stories when he was an abandoned teenager - now I feel is putting his ‘street wise’ knowledge to good use effect. ( I love when these tales interleave ) He had pieced together most of the story, which only needed Levi to confirm. He hadn’t, I feel, got the sexual assault part of the story which would mean that Casey would have been denied bail. If Casey has ‘gone to ground’ I would expect him to possibly headed to ‘The big City’ where it would be easier to get lost. However that is where our friend Shane grew up - so possibly still knows of ‘places of refuge’ for runaway teens! I do hope that he’s doesn’t turn up dead as muted by others, it would be too convenient as this tale draws to a conclusion. Levi’s befriending of others has moved to yet another level with the new residents at the Hostel. I do hope that their situation is resolved to some degree - I’m thinking of all the characters so far maybe Zack could become a father figure! With all the comments so far, this story is heading towards being one of the best by @Mark Ponyboy Peters so far. Thank you for your hard work.

Chapter 31 - Another Day Out
Lynx003 commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 31 - Another Day Out
The rescued swimmer.. could this be a link to previous tales? Now I seem to remember a good swimmer and surfer - in another story What brings us together ( a 2 volume good read!) umm…. Could there be a conection? I hope so then we could find out what happened to the other characters and ‘the painting’! I love stories that interleave- thank you @Paladin- 43 comments

With @VBlewcomments regarding Casey and also Levi - I think we are in for some major developments / reveals in the few remaining chapters - but @Mark Ponyboy Peters usually gives us a great reveal in the closing chapter(s) with a tantalising titbits that leaves easy connections to future tales for which we wait for with ‘baited breath’

The two ‘brothers’ definitely are at the age where they need their own space - one cramped bedroom is not enough. However I seem to remember there is an outbuilding at Avalon with some sleeping accommodation - could this be an answer, at the same time giving them some more responsibility for their own home environment. As to Casey - well ?? He only has himself to blame. One wonders if there are more youngsters in his ‘ sphere of operations’ that may come forward with more information as to underage sexual advances? Could be the last T’ville will see of him for some time - hopefully! It’s a pity this great tale in the T’ville Saga is drawing to a conclusion. We, the readers, can only hope the Books 8, 9,10…..adinfinitum are on their way. Thankyou @Mark Ponyboy Peters

Another great chapter. The possible fostering / adoption of Jamie does at present seem to pose an accommodation problem - however I seem to recall in an earlier volume of the T’ ville saga there was talk of outbuildings or stables that could be converted into part of the house, or maybe my octogenarian mind is playing tricks again.. I also feel that maybe young Casey is heading for a ‘meeting’ with Constable Legget in the near future if he continues to befriend underage boys - could be interesting 🤔 one again thank you @Mark Ponyboy Peters for your labours in keeping us entertained.

Another great, tear jerking, chapter. In Casey can we see a budding stalker ( as in Mardi Gras Murders)? First Steven now Levi……. The friendship between Levi & Jamie looks promising, I wonder if it will develop into a more solid friendship. Loving maybe! once again @Mark Ponyboy Peters for these intriguing tales.

Another enjoyable read. I'm sorry that the Saga of Alex & Niel is drawing to a conclusion, hopefully only temporary! I found some of the conversations quite hilarious. Also the side comment regarding bed and spiral staircase provoked some interesting configurations in my brain. thank you for your work and I look forward to more tales from your pen. (Keyboard)

For the benefit of our North American friends - let an old Brit, explain - whippersnapper - is a young person, usually male, who thinks he knows more than some older more experienced persons.

Another great, thought provoking, chapter. Levi is definitely growing up and realising that much of his previous life had not readied himself for the world at large. Fr. Costa’s openness in answering questions and allowing Levi to engage in practical jobs is obviously helping. The camping trip also made him realise the importance of family relationships and his own capabilities, a,so sweeping away more of the ‘baggage’ from his previous home life. i liked, particularly the way he managed to ignore Casey and his acolytes. Defiantly growing up in discernment.
