A really good read, the breaking of the tough shell that Keith had built around himself caught me completely by surprise and nearly to tears. I can only hope that the ‘old’ family ties and the ‘new’ family relationships can develop into a loving and respectful family unit, even if an unconventional one. Keith will I am sure develop relationship(s) too, outside the present family. This could prove interesting.. thank you for your time and work in writing this family saga.

Another good read, the life in a small town continues… with the usual interesting characters…. But I feel this chapter was introducing new people ready for ??? I am intrigued with Zack.. will he form part of a new ‘family’ of rescued teens? Or maybe adopted by Tony & Aaron… I await further developments.. many thanks for your intriguing writings.

A chapter with much love, support and pastoral care for the ‘boys’ but not the ‘great reveal’ that I was expecting from the interview with Daniel. A good read despite not what I was expecting.. Maybe action will occur when more arrests are made, I wait with baited breath. Both ‘boys’ I feel need some form of counselling to help overcome the traumatic events in their earlier lives, this could also lead to more revelations.. i look forward to reading more of this saga.

I’m awaiting with bated breath for further developments… will there be further ‘secret rooms’ revealed when D makes his statement? How many more ‘well known’ personages and police will be implicated? maybe the surfboard which lead to the reuniting of the brothers could be donated to the beach cafe…….

Another good read - the chapter opens a few possibilities - I feel that Keith is a story awaiting telling - I’m almost convinced that he desperately wants to ‘come out’ but doesn’t know how to, at least to his father, but with Jon on the scene ?? I may be barking at the wrong tree - but I wait in eager anticipation…

That’s a big turn up in the story…… Now whilst I accept that the youngsters experimentation may be just exploring the changes that puberty brings about and many, dare I say all, young boys go through this phase until they settle on what ‘turns them on’ However I’m intrigued as to Keith - is his apparent antipathy towards Jim just a symptom of his own repressed sexual attraction? I feel it will be interesting to see what happens between the ‘boys’ and Jim - if and when Jim moves back into the household. i do hope that Cammie overcomes the cancer and enters remission. I know from experience there is no cure just a game of wait and see where and how it will manifest itself in the future.

I’ve just read part 1 and this far in part 2…. All in one session! a very well written and gripping tale(s) was nearly in tears on a couple of occasions. I’m on tenter hooks now awaiting developments… please don’t make me wait too long 🤔🥺

A well written and heartbreaking tale of two youngsters madly in love - who are in deep depression - however family support brings them, albeit slowly, out these dark places and commences the long road upwards to recovery. Revealing that true love can conquer over depression.

This is a gripping story, with well described emotions and reactions. I only wish that there was a ‘cast list’ as I am beginning to loose track of all the characters their names (several have two !) and their relationships either emotional, biological or as members of the ‘deck’. Has anyone complied such a list? Could it be posted?
