    There's definitely no hard and fast rule. From my experience I dated a guy for several years and we broke up (I dumped him, he had been cheating on me) and I can tell you for the first few months, I wasn't in the mood to date anyone. Ugh, already bringing back bad memories just thinking about it.

    There are schools with majors in queer studies, at Michigan you can minor in Queer Studies as part of another major.

    Haha yeah I forgot Shania Twain and Shakira and a few others. I think your taste in music is fine, with the exception of maybe one song, lol. Yeah some of it may be construed as gay, but so what? Music makes the people come together.

    Well you were playing "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross earlier, lol. And you like Madonna and Mika and Celine. But then again you also like Nickelback and Big & Rich and classical music. I think gay music isn't necessarily "gay" in any particular way. But in a lot of cases gay music gets that name because those artists actively court a gay audience, Madonna definitely fits in that category. Bette Midler too.

    Oh they have Queer studies at Michigan too. Generally, you can go to law school, you can get a Ph.D. or I dunno, work in the non-profit world.
