  1. Who died and left you in charge of the Posting Police?
  2. Hey... I once had a 22.6 daily average. This time last week I had just hit 500!
  3. Exactly!
  4. Thanks for the compliments. I'm celebrating surviving an MRI without screaming due to claustrophobia.
  5. I was certain you'd rather hold something else.
  6. What did the cat do to make you not like it? I've had shark fin soup. For ethical reasons I wouldn't eat it today. Snakes can be yummy; depends on the snake. Rabbits are good too! Same thing with quail and partridge (Grey Francolin). What is bluebull? Goat and lamb are both served here at one of my favorite restaurants. I prefer lamb over goat though. I think that's because when I was an infant I had to be nursed on goat milk because my body could not tolerate regular milk or formula. I was adopted so my mother could not nurse me. I tried chocolate-covered roaches once. They were raised in a clean environment especially for eating. Still, it's not something I'm likely to try again. Frog legs, at least to me, are like mini-chicken wings. Both in terms of what they look like and how they taste. Still, I can understand people not finding them palettable. Yum. I was introduced to them on my first visit to France. It was harder to used those weird clamps for holding the shell than it was to get used to eating snails. There is a good seafood restaurant here that serves them sans shell. Yup. I had some when I visited Egypt. I neither liked or disliked it. Just one more of life's experiments. A long time ago I ate a Wurlitzer. The woody taste was quite unusual. Ask and you shall receive... Same here these days. Although I've had it in the past.
  7. That woman never buys anything hook line and sinker. She merely acquiesces for the time being. I still don't like her. Ah, or is he just as good an actor as J/S? Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer! Personally, I wish they'd come out on their own. Sure they might lose some fans. But think about how many more new ones they'd gain.
  8. If you're gonna be like that Kev then today I'm celebrating the sound of horsepower!
  9. Gak. GA is why I reinstalled Trillian...it was the only way to communicate in near real-time with Myr. I'd rather spend my time reading or in the forums cause basically I strongly dislike IM. Does it count towards my addiction if my SOHO-based servers are doing things on the internet even when I'm sleeping? They are, after all, doing what I told them to do. Mostly backups of and maintenance for my live websites.
  10. I am not picking at nits here. Sorry for the potentially annoying euphemism. I'm serious. Clearly you've never listened to, or at least appreciated "The Trees" from the Hemisphere's album by Rush. I remain unconvinced, due to a lack of sufficient empirical evidence, that plants do not feel emotions. If they do it probably won't be at as high a level as cows, pigs and porpoises. But hey, feelings are feelings, right?
  11. I love your sense of humor Kevvers.
  12. Well, I have mixed feelings. I don't want anything bad to happen so that you and Sacha can move in together. And yet I think the two of you being roommates would be great. I guess you'll just have to be patient. I'm sure Winter 2009 seems like a long ways away but it's really not in terms of the totality of your lives. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment of, Jason & Sacha Get Caught. Tim, you need to take more risks.
  13. You were shy? I find that hard to believe.
  14. Yeah, I forgot to mention the domestic partners thing. I wish more states had something like that.
  15. See, my problem is I grew up on KFC and also happen to love foie gras and veal. But my ethical considerations far outweigh my desire to consume those things.
  16. Yo Goat! If you ever claim you don't write evil cliffhangers I'm gonna laugh at you mercilessly. This chapter had more evil cliffhangers in it that any so far. I am so scared now. So many things could go wrong. On the bright side I'm glad Eric's intentions with regard to Wilde have been, at least far, innocent and really quite nice. But I'm sure you've got something evil in store for us eventually. The writing seemed solid enough to me. Well done!
  17. Thanks CJ. If I had understood the full meaning of what had been posted I never would have quoted it. It wasn't until I saved my message that I saw the full translation but by then it was too late. I'm sorry for any trouble we caused you. I used to like getting caught, Jason. That's part of why I like to good-naturedly tease you and Sacha about it. Cause I totally understand what it's like. One of your comments made me think you and Sacha are going to become roommates soon. Did I read that correctly? If so I am very happy for you. Love is great, isn't it?
  18. Wow, you know things are serious when you count not only the months but the days too! I'm really happy for both of you.
  19. Maybe so. But it's the few, like KFC, that give everyone else a bad name. I saw a documentary on how their chickens are treated. Since then I've never gone to KFC. I won't eat veal cause I 've seen how veal calves are treated. It gives me the shivers. Same thing with geese...no more goose liver pate for me.
  20. That's the right attitude. Be adventurous.
  21. Would you like me to cast a spell that'll stop the daydreaming?
  22. Yeah, it's so cold and impersonal. Reminds me of the piece from George Carlin I posted earlier in this thread.
