  1. I'm downloading their eponymous album now. Thanks for the recommendation. ADDED: I'm also downloading the self-titled "Three Days Grace" album. Wow, 256kbps. Thanks Kev.
  2. It froze, eh? Have you considered using a blowtorch to thaw it out?
  3. Pick an album or two for me please.
  4. I'm convinced he thinks it's all part of his marketing/public relations campaign. As if he really needs one.
  5. Regardless of what synonym we choose for a cliffhanger The Goat will still deny writing them. He'll continue to blame his beta-readers and editors. Maybe his team should go on strike and then see what excuse The Goat will be able to come up with!
  6. OK, that's fair enough. Your body needs something found in beef. Therefore any beef will do. It doesn't have to be a burger. IMO that's a legitimate craving.
  7. Make that deviously eeeeeevil goathangers!
  8. In an attempt to get back on-topic, is this really a craving or merely a desire? I wanted a cheeseburger for lunch today so I had one. That was a desire. On the other hand I have a craving for chocolate today. I don't care what kind of chocolate. I'm just craving chocolate. In my mind, and in keeping with the theme of this thread, that suggests to me there must be something in chocolate my body needs. You can call it a need or a craving. To me they're the same thing and completely different from a desire.
  9. I'm an online shopaholic. I'm also your friend. So there... /me heads off to look at Jack's suggested reading. I'd do anything Jack asked me to do! ADDED: While I might do anything Jack asked me to do, that doesn't mean I'll like it. This article offended me in ways I haven't been offended in ages. It's far worse than anything we discussed in that thread about offensive words and phrases. It was stereotypical in every bad sense of the word!
  10. Slashanger Teqhanger Goathanger
  11. Wow, I can't recall the last time I've seen so much defensiveness. Pudding is thick, creamy and tasty. Enough said!
  12. This is how I got started on being somewhat of a neat freak. I got tired of running all over the house before work trying to find where I'd left my keys and other essentials the night before. So now the first thing I do when I get home is hang my keys on their hook, attach the cellphone to the charger, put my wallet on top of the cellphone, and drop my spare change into this neat little battery-powered sorter my sister gave me. I still don't trust those bulk coin counting machines at the bank and supermarket.
  13. I am quite embarrassed because I forgot about my own thread! Thanks everyone. I've been enjoying last.fm. It's sort of like what MusicMatch used to be before Yahoo! ruined it. The one thing I miss about MusicMatch was if you became a premium member you could listen to any artist you wanted to without similar artists being included in the mix. I haven't been able to find such a feature on Yahoo!'s version or on last.fm. Thank you so much my friend. This album is now a permanent resident on my iPod. Thanks, Tim. I'll give each one a try. I mean, one can only listen to "The Red Violin" so many times in one day! IMO, no! I don't recall you suggesting it to me before Kevvers. I'm heading off to Amazon and iTunes to see who has the highest bit-rate without any DRM.
  14. Etiquette classes are held at my place every Wednesday afternoon. Erm, entrance is free. Silly me. I thought it would make the tea taste like water!
  15. That's an interesting theory. Perhaps some form of clinical experiment torture to gather empirical evidence is warranted? Are you enjoying the CF website Tim?
  16. Shall we vote on an alternative?
  17. Are you calling me a detritivore? Hmm. He is delicious. But I'm sure you stand a better chance with him than I do. In his eyes I'm an old man. Kids... Experience counts for nothing these days. Doesn't this belong in the annoying euphemisms thread? Every once in awhile I get a craving for orange juice. I really should know better than to give in because it always gives me heartburn. What kind of apple are you referring to? I happen to love Fuji apples. Oddly enough this Japanese apple is the result of having crossbred two American apples.
  18. I don't think I can post what I'm craving. But I'm definitely craving something!
  19. I'm insulted and I'm craving doing this to you: . I dare you to call that a twig!
  20. Not that I'm aware of. Hopefully I haven't given away too much already. There's always the chance he'll hate it and reject it. I should just wait until I hear from him. I sent him a PM a little while ago.
  21. Catching my 'rents in the act has resulted in this...
  22. I'm celebrating completing the design of a new logo for GA. Myr asked me to do it and I hope he likes it.
  23. While this is sometimes true, it's not always the case. I am big and tall but I am not fat. I have trouble finding clothes that fit me in regular stores because I'm 6'1" and weigh around 220 pounds. Most retail outlets don't carry jeans in a 36" waist and a 32" length. So I custom order my jeans online. I order most of my clothes online. That's because I hate shopping and it's so much easier to find what I want online. The first e-commerce website I wrote the software for has been a huge success. I wrote the software for free in exchange for a commission on gross sales. It was a risk. But it was also a challenge. It's paid off big-time. Plus I have a website where I can buy most everything I need in the way of more formal attire. The only things I don't buy there are jeans, socks, t-shirts and boxer-briefs. The Levis are ordered online. The rest is purchased from the Hanes website. I will tolerate nothing but cotton against my skin cause it feels so good! It's late so I hope this made sense.
