  1. As long as I don't have to clean up after him I'm cool with it.
  2. Oh please spare us this innocent, what me, stuff. I was up all night and so were you cause you kept replying to my messages.
  3. I still call BS on your personal statement. You may not be the king of cliffhangers, but you do use them and they're often evil.
  4. That's for sure.
  5. Um, my cliffhanging abilities are limited to literally hanging from cliffs. And the only thing I write is software. Methinks Sacha posted before his first cup of coffee this morning.
  6. This thread is about you, so I guess if you want to include goats here then I'll have to learn to live with it. Doesn't mean I have to like it though. I still think goats belong in their own forum!
  7. I've never been good at staying on topic. So pardon me for going OT and mentioning once again what a pleasant experience being part of this community is.
  8. I didn't mean to suggest that CJ and Jack are not masters of the evil cliffhanger. Clearly they are. I was simply implying that you need to stop this faux-humble BS of denying your own evil cliffhanging abilities.
  9. This thread is supposed to be about Sacha and his induction into the Millennium Club. Goats and evil cliffhangers are not welcome here. There's a special forum for critters that'll eat anything and turn it into evil cliffhangers!
  10. What a bunch of BS.
  11. You're appalled? I'm incredulous! We need a /poke/poke/ smiley here. I have one I'm willing to donate.
  12. Was this post directed at me?
  13. I'm currently reading the first of two books by Josh Aterovis. He writes the Killian Kendall Mystery Series. These are republished books. The first time around he was self-published. His books received enough critical acclaim, and good enough sales, that he was offered a publishing deal. There was a great deal of rewriting in the second set of books. So even if you read the first set of books I recommend reading the second set of books. I guess the genre is best described as murder/mystery/detective/relationships. The first book is, Bleeding Hearts. The second book is, Reap the Whirlwind. While the plots are all different (duh!) there is superb character continuity from book to book, and that makes for an interesting read because it gives you incentive to develop feelings for the characters. Much like some of the stories here on GA. In the interest of full disclosure I host his website. ADDED: Perhaps I'm overly concerned with how others perceive me. I'm not completely into fluff like the above two novels are. I am also an avid student of WWII. I just finished reading, What Stalin Knew: The Enigma of Barbarossa by David E Murphy. It deals with the Nazi invasion of Russia and the inexplicable blunders made by Joseph Stalin.
  14. Congratulations, Sacha! At the start of Wednesday I didn't think you'd make the Millennium Club. But you made around 30 posts so you did make it, and I'm very happy for you. Thanks for being a friend, a great promising author, reader, and definitely part of the prolific poster's club!

    Regaining Focus

A good story is always better than a rushed story. You're good enough to wait for!
  16. Yeah, but they're not as evil as yours are.
  17. My gosh. This morning he still had something like 30 posts to go. I didn't think he'd make it today. I'm not usually a post count queen, but if it makes you happy, Sacnha, then I'm glad you made the millennium club.
  18. Fortunately there is no treatment or cure for CDSS. That's part of what keeps us coming back for more.
  19. No offense intended to anyone. The name doesn't mean anything to me. It's his stories that really matter to me because they help keep my mind off of other things I'd rather not dwell upon; after 30+ years of being clean and sober I am still an addict, and not a day goes by without me thinking about it. Therefore whatever he chooses to call himself is fine with me.
  20. Actually it sounds Corny,
  21. Yeah, he's been busy fixing the broken links I found on his website. ADDED: BTW, you have mail.
  22. I have a feeling the entire name is a pseudonym.
  23. I agree with you completely. As for Tim, I'll leave him alone, for now.
  24. Jack, I've been hesitant to write about this. But I somehow suspect J/S might working covertly with the CIA in order to secure a reliable source of oil for the US. It wouldn't be the first time the CIA tried to pull off some hairbrained scheme. While Venezuela is oil rich, don't the countries J/S is trying to take over also have some plentiful sources of oil and natural gas? Am I letting my imagination run too wild? If so it wouldn't be the first time.
  25. Nope. I'm suggesting that if the guys in the boat do wind up dead there could be a criminal case against the band and the dive instructor for intent to kill. And there would also be a civil lawsuit regardless of what the outcome of any criminal case would be. ADDED: I thought you were studying? /poke/poke/
