    Chapter 34

Well, you guys have the control. Drum up 10 reviews. :-) I'm glad you liked this one.

    Chapter 34

LOL. Thanks. I figure I'll post the next chapter after I get 10 reviews on this one. :-)
  3. This is great for all of us who want to see the Ravens fall on their asses. With Flacco sucking up so much money, there won't be any left to pay anyone else. It's a Peyton Manning deal redux.
  4. True, but Fox was quite capable of intrigue, and of plotting to bring down the current government.

    Chapter 34

November 1797 Granger stood on the quarterdeck of Bacchante, marveling at how much daylight there had been in the lower latitudes, when they’d been chasing after the French privateer. It had made the shipboard routine somewhat difficult, since dawn was a strange phenomenon that seemed to arrive almost as soon as the sunset. Now that they were nearing Valdivia, the sun rose higher in the sky and twilight was shorter, much as it was back in the Mediterranean. Its s
  6. Maybe he's holding out for more reviews. (Smile) I've got a chapter to post sometime within the next 24 hours.
  7. And I haven't written that chapter yet. :-). But I do know who it's going to be.
  8. Interesting. I'm thinking a bit darker complexion.
  9. I didn't win this, we won this. Thanks to both of you, and to the rest of our team. To my readers, I want thank you to all of you who voted for the story, those of you who posted reviews, and those of you who participate in the forum. Your comments (most of them ) really help. The forums really have shaped this story.
  10. You're all wrong.

    Chapter 95

As usual, your review is interesting and enlightening. I'd never thought of the impact a near-death experience would have on someone at a core level. When you lay it out there, it makes so much sense.

    Chapter 95

Two things: 1. I think that if Jeff would have been left to his own devices, he wouldn't have said anything. He would have been really uncomfortable in approaching Stef about going back to college, so Will's course of action was probably the only way to make it happen. 2. I hope that you ultimately can have a relationship with your birth parents. I wonder about equations such as you alluded to, where other people avoid expanding a relationship for fear of hurting someone else. To me, that always makes the one who is in danger of being hurt seem petty.

LMAO! Glad I could help you out.

    Chapter 95

I think that Jeremy is right about Jeanine and JJ. I think that despite the blood ties between her and Will, JJ's vulnerability at birth and beyond has endeared him to her.

    Chapter 95

I think that Will found Jeff in a vulnerable situation, otherwise I'm not sure Jeff would have let that out. JP is a huge advocate for education, so it's likely he sees the latent talent in Jeff.

    Chapter 95

I think body odor has a lot of different inputs, including diet. A bridge is a bridge. :-)
  18. You're busy? Cry me a river. Is Will seeing Ryan in Jeff because Jeff is like Ryan, or does he just miss Ryan? You know better than to trust me when the clues seem obvious. Interesting thoughts.

    Chapter 95

I think Brad may very well be that crafty, but he's using his machinations for good this time. :-) JP was probably trying to gather the facts - that being the overall purpose of meeting with Jeff - but he abhors violence, especially in his own house. Remember back to Bloodlines, and how he lost it and actually yelled after Matt laid Brian out?

    Chapter 33

Thanks for taking the plunge and joining us. Feedback and reviews can sometimes come in torrents, and can sometimes be relatively sparse. It is more motivating when I get feedback, but it's all good.

    Chapter 95

December 30, 2000 Escorial, CA Will I knelt on the mat next to Jeff, totally annoyed with him and with Matt for fighting in the first place. I mean, it’s not like I’d never gotten into fights, but here, at Escorial? Seriously? If Grand found out about this, he’d go nuts. Still, I understood the code, and I understood why Wade let them do it. I went along with it too. Sometimes, emotions ran too high, and you had to work things out with your bodies. But in the end, seeing Jeff be

    Chapter 94

LOL. That would probably have Robbie in weekly therapy sessions.

    Chapter 94

Kody, I hope you did well on your papers. I feel your pain: I have to grade those damn things. I'm guessing that JP didn't invite Ace and clan because they're not living at Escorial anymore, and because it doesn't seem like Ace is all that involved in JJ's life. I can't see him getting all excited about figure skating.
  24. You're an awesome guy, and you deserve an awesome birthday! Hope you get it!
