September, 1796 Captain Sir George Granger stood on his quarterdeck in a foul mood. Part of his foul mood was a normal reaction to sailing, to leaving home. He’d had a tearful goodbye with Caroline and his children this morning, and he found that the older the children got, the harder it was to take his leave of them. Poor Man's Son is the eleventh story in the CAP Saga. The story takes place in 2000, with Gathan Hayes and Will Schluter as our narrators. Many of the characters in this story were introduced in “Chronicles of an Academic Predator,” “1968,” “The Land Whore,” “Be Rad,” “Man in Motion,” “A Summer Love,” “If It Fits,” “Bloodlines,” “The Box,” and "Millennium."

Too funny! That's a great question and a great answer. They don't really look a like, they just share some similar features and characteristics, enough to spark Brad's suspicions. Plus I'll bet that being in that family, you learn to look for stuff like that. It's key as to how they don't look all that much alike that no one else, including Jim, picked up on it.

Are you talking about the guy that wanted JP's office? He wasn't Jeff's professor, and JP didn't have him hit, per se, but that was pretty slick. Or was it Louie, the guy he met that handled Jason's "problem"?

Thanks! He needs some more seniority before he'll move to a bigger ship. He won't get a ship of the line until he's had at least 3 years seniority as a post captain (1798 at the earliest). His next step is more likely to be a bigger frigate.
