You are absolutely right about Castlereagh's father. Thanks. I changed it. I was thinking of Lord Hawkesbury for some reason. Which brings us to the second part. Lord Liverpool, at this date, was Hawkesury's father, and while Hawkesbury was some 6 years older than Granger, Lord Liverpool was approximately 45 years older than Granger.

I think most of that depends on how Granger acts. He could end up in a duel with Stewart, or he could ignore it. Regardless, the way society was structured back then, men were only shamed if there were dire consequences. George has all the cards here.
