Yes, this can be. It can be very ....challenging if two dominant characters have to deal with each other. But on the other hand, I never met two people, who are exactly the same and so it is with dominant characters too. And sometimes, rarely I would say, they can find something to give to each other, which nobody else can. But it keeps to be challenging. I experienced it once and it was a roller coaster, but wow and it only could happen, because our dominance had different outlines. And yes on the other hand there are couples who switch smoothly in every direction.

I think it’s very telling that there are so many scandals among NFL (professional US football) players and former players. Lots of domestic violence cases, even a few murders – much more violent than in other similar pro sports like baseball and basketball. It may start in high school (or even earlier), but it only gets worse because overly aggressive behavior is encouraged and high schools & colleges have an incentive to produce winning football teams at seemingly any cost. Fans might disagree with me, but football is very much a brute-force sport with little finesse. On the other hand, Gymnastics is a very controlled-force sport with incredible finesse. Much, much less attention is paid to sports with no professional teams. What kind of career is there for a professional gymnast? Ringling Brothers just had their final shows. Cirque du Soleil? Hollywood stunt person? Gym teacher? Not exactly the kinds of jobs that encourage risky, out-of-control behavior, but then again, the sorts of people attracted to gymnastics aren’t like that anyway.

I know some D/s couples, who are like this and some not, that just depends on what they agreed. It is all about finding out, what you want and need an what not and to what both have agreed. The limitations are chosen.

I would probably laugh my ass of, if someone would call me Ma`am. A title doesn`t change what you are. I have a friend, who is Dom and Poly like me and really has troubles with female dominant persons. Last time we saw each other, he called me head of the family. He will never learn. But at least he really listens to me now. LOL

For the same reason criminals are always identified in the media by race only if they aren’t white, because the ‘assumption’ is that everybody is a straight, white male unless otherwise identified. Well now we know Marissa arrived in Charleston as a vampire, as most guessed. But her group has a lot fewer vampires than I was expecting. So many non-vampire relatives. And we ended up with about the same number of mysteries as we started with. Just different ones… ;-)
