Sharon...maybe Snow Dog ate too much Puppy Chow or there is something in his doggie chew toy.....and he is grousing since Vic hit him on the nose with a newspaper and he can't get a room with Mark (as Vic would say) since Mark isn't around.......poor Snow Dog.....and maybe someone put something in his water besides too much sugar and not enough valium or something like that... and I say its avoidance..you know the job thing and finding 15 typos in his thesis in the 1st hundred pages...I think its all the effect of Chapter 14 of TOU....it has that kind of effect on some of us....well, what can one say.....give him a pat on his head, send him with a blankie and a chew toy to take a nap...and tell him and Vic to stop fighting and behave....bad dog, bad Vic....either that or get it on in the absence of Mark...or is that Snow Dog not being a faithful Snow Dog...well at least he is entertaining?.... maybe not maybe so....you the posters/readers decide.... Well, is it is possible? here is the test....do you or don't you respond? If so, what do you respond in saying? and is Vic nearby with a newspaper to smack your snoot? and do you bite him for trying? or do you attack him and see if you have the same effect on him that Jude and Quinn have on each other? will there be humping invovled..are you a Snow Dog that does that? If so, was it good for you as it was for Vic or better? now, let's see if you respond to the post or not..and do you get sent to Post It Camp with all the squirrels from the 3 M Post in commercial (which commercial by the way my very own brother in law created....goes with stupid pet tricks and non useful information one never needs to know but were afraid to ask or post) the drama continues....stay tuned to "As the Snow Dog Posts" Will he or won't he.....only his Inner Snowdom knows...... Oops, hehe. It was her 7th kid, lol. It was a girl and she named it Shandra Hazel. So now she has 4 girls and 3 boys. It's kinda a funny story... before they got married, her husband got fixed because he never thought he'd have kids. They get married and she wanted kids so they were able to 'un-fix' him. Well they got their money's worth, having 7 kids off it, lol. They decided that was enough so the poor guy has been fixed twice now . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Xander...now that is a funny story..but um, well between puppies on the first litter for your dog and after 7 children, who can blame your friend's Mom......wow 7 children.......Congratulations all the way around..Shandra is a very pretty name and Shandra Hazel almost sounds exotic and beautiful all rolled up together....I bet she grows up with Xander in tow behind her chasing her....and hey did you get your learner's permit in all that excitement? I bet this is a birthday you will never forget and now for an extra special Birthday present...Dom has posted Chapter 14 for TOU and its a great birthday present for all of us and its not even the rest of our Birthdays!! Shadow...I agree with you on all counts..well said!! and the way you described it is exactly how I feel....tattoos too..and the needles...*shudder* and *faint* and *yuck* and the tattoos in appearance...double yuck. but that's just how I feel....and geez, infections of ears and other such things....ouch but as Shadow said, "Smooth uninterrupted flesh is way hotter (same goes for tattoos).:...Now that is hot and sexy:) Just my humble opinion, any ways Michael

To add to the confusion....in NJ we have the Garden State Parkway (and some days you do feel like you are parking on it and certainly not driving on it and its a toll road..so nothing free about that)...We also have the New Jersey Turnpike.....and it is always under construction...We also have routes that are highways and highways that are routes....some routes go east to west, some go north to south and some go nowhere...but for some strange reason it seems the highways go west or east but never south or north and the routes go north or south but never go east or west...(except for the famous always jammed Route 3 which goes east or west) We also have our jughandles (some would say world famous).....and incredibly confusing signs....and traffic circles that only cause more congestion....and accidents. add to that and in news today, it was announced that the state highway trust fund is broke and will need tons of new taxes to fix roads, bridges, highways, etc....and that they need an audit system probably due to bad management...no kidding. we call soda "soda" but I used to joke with friends when I was in the Midwest..who call soda "Pop"..which would then make me say that old bad joke... isn't he at home with Ma? but they would joke back that in the East we call buns "rolls" and rolls "buns" and did i want butter with my buns or butter my rolls or buns? In some parts of the country, soda or pop is called "bubbler" My friends that call soda "pop" tell me that soda is really "seltzer water" or seltzer". I always thought "seltzer water" or 'seltzer" is just that...go figure! If you are Italian, and I am, we call tomato sauce "gravy" and macaroni is called "pasta" Salads are eaten after the pasta (although sometimes before and then if done true Italian style, it is called antepaste) In New Jersey, we call going the beach or the beach "the shore" as in are you "going to the shore today"? Now, how many have had an egg cream? I am sure we can add all sorts of fun different words for the same thing. We have diners in NJ as opposed to restaurants..but we also have restaurants...some other states may think they have diners....trust me, I have eaten in them and they aren't diners....Diners here are open 24/7 and have incredible menus and daily specials for each meal and more desserts then one can dream of (outside of a bakery) and you can get rolls with your buns and buns with your rolls and bread too. I would love to read more interesting and pretty funny posts and colloquallisms...I bet there are tons in Europe, Canada and other parts of the U.S...no less our friends in Australia. Michael

$85 dollars huh? that's 4 pairs of $20 shoes, lol You better get insurance on those shoes, just kidding <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know Baby I didn't think you would read this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> SugarMag.....is the Bear man your S/O? way cool....teddy bears are way cool to snuggle with..... don't be too hard on our Super Sugar Mag....we love her so and she is Super Cool and well, a girl has to have comfy sneakers and shoes....although, how the heck you ladies survive in the shoes that are fashionable is beyond me....all I can say is ouch....give me a comfortable pair of sneakers and I love Skeechers....of course I have one pair and purchased at half price at $35.00 and the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. Well Super Sugar Mag and GoBears.....you are the coolest..I am still chuckling over the better get insurance for the Pumas.....but I bet your feet say "thank you" ever time you put them on and you look great in them!!! Kitty, as always, well said and well thought out and says it best. As Myr said, we all are moderators of sorts by being able to send a complaint, concern or email to a Moderator. I feel the criteria Myr has established are reasonable and transparent ones and will work well, particularly since Myr will screen the applicants, then put them to a vote by the group. Advice and consent. In my opinion, it works, when reasonably done and that Myr has created a foundation for that to occur. I say let the process works its course. I am sure we will have a good team and the Forum will grow and have its ebb and flow and the way it is structured allows for opinion, comments on a variety of topics and story discussion and all sorts of discussion. I am learning a great deal from a wide spectrum of individuals, with varied backgrounds and areas of the globe. I find it invigorating and we all are given a place to express our view points and to read about others, whether we agree or disagree with those viewpoints. So, Myr, I say, you have laid an excellent ground work and fair rules, and let the process begin. I also do have one concern, which is what Kitty has said and that is I hope we have a Forum which encourages more and more Members who read but do not post to actually feel safe, comfortable and willing to post and then do post. I feel that Myr is trying to create that atmosphere and I am all for that. I am sure we all are:) Michael

Hi...umm..maybe we can let Myr first get applications...The guidelines seem reasonable. Then when Myr reviews them and vettes them and then we get to vote on the candidates (unless I read incorrectly what Myr set down), we then get input. I like the idea of transparency so we know whom are Moderators are and they act as referees of sort. It appears to me that Myr is the Chief Justice and they are Associate Justices. seems fair enough to me. With our group, I am guessing that an anonymous Judge at this point in time would cause a huge stir. But, it would be up to Myr to see if that is what would be required down the road. I would hope that we all act fairly without bashing each other so we don't need that and give each other the respect we want want to receive. The Golden Rule and kindness, even with a touch of humor, always works best, in my humble opinion. I hope we never come to needing an Anonymous Judge. Yikes. But, hey, let's see who wants to be Moderators. Let the process work. Myr has set some reasonable rules. We get a vote (advice and consent) and take things from there. I am betting we never will need an Anonymous Judge. I sure hope not! Myr, from one Taurus to another, thanks for all you do for us! Michael

From those of us in the States who have been through 9/11 (I live in NJ and lost people I knew...my sister lost around 80 co workers from her old job from about 10 yrs ago, including her former boss from her former job). It was just so beyond horror and so is what happened in London. It is devastating and beyond horror. Lots of Hugs and Prayers and tears and we are with you in our hearts, minds and prayers. The senselessness and such horror of it all. I will never understand the barbaric minds that do this. Never. It paralyzes me and numbs my mind to all that pain and horror. It upsets us all and anger just doesn't describe it. Pure absolute horror at such inhumanity!!! My prayers and thoughts go with you in London. I pray and hope you are all safe and that none of your loved ones are lost or hurt or worse. I don't know what else to say but good karma, prayers and love and hugs sent your way and my deepest hopes that you are all ok. Prayers and Love and Hugs, Michael
