    Chapter 75

I like crazy fictional frat boys who are upfront that they're kind of a jerk. Hell, I was a major fanboy of Andy from Crosscurrents and John from Fraternity Memoirs for over a decade. Lol Man, I wonder if I could get Mark to write a crossover fanfiction about those two characters meeting this summer in New York as 40-somethings....
  9. Right. 2004 is the metrosexual era and facial hair isn't "in" yet. I remember more guys started wearing beards around the late '00s, but it really peaks around 2012-2016 aka the Lumbersexual era. Thanks. Drew Starkey just gives off this affable stoner vibe. You could easily see him hanging out with Will.

    Chapter 75

He kind of reminds me of that old adage "a true friend stabs you in the front." You know you're not getting a sweet guy with Zach, and that he's kind of an insane jerk, but it's okay because he's honest about that.

    Chapter 75

He does have his own book. It's called The Streak. JJ co-narrated most of it, although I believe Will made a few appearance as narrator.
  12. I don't normally use porn stars as character faces, but former Disney actor-turned-adult entertainer Dan Benson is adorable and I kept thinking he reminds me of how I pictured Will's therapist Casey. I did picture Casey being in his 30's with fair skin and a fairly Celtic look. Kind of nerdy, yet hot, and really sweet-looking.

    Chapter 33

He might allow it if it's a subtle, tasteful one, like Jamie Flatters. You could just barely call that a mullet. The Morgan Wallen one? Nah.
  14. I'm going to bump this back up.
  15. And what do you know, it turned out that Private Tim was just fine. Now if only we could get Blue to show up. I definitely wonder what happened to him. I'm hoping he just found the man of his dreams and no longer had time to post here.

    Chapter 33

Yeah, it's funny. Like right now if you see a group of jock/frat boys, there's going to be at least one guy wearing a mullet. I like to picture Stefan reacting in horror to a 20-year old Robbie Carrswold wearing his hair like that. LOL

    Chapter 75

I mean, it's pretty easy. Have Zach transfer to a school in the South. Will never spends any time in the Southern region of the United States. (Maybe he was in Texas once?) Just keep Zach away from the West Coast and the Northeast. I honestly think it would be good for Zach as well to get away from Los Angeles.

    Chapter 75

Really, Zach and Will shouldn't see each other at all for a few years, but that isn't possible given the close family ties. Although I guess it's always possible that Mark could have Zach transfer to a really good football school in like Alabama or North Carolina which are places Will is incredibly unlikely to spend time at.

    Chapter 36

Hey, at the end of the day, John is taking a chance and pursuing something big. He's been kind of an aimless kid so far, and it's cool to see him try to follow a dream. There will always be education for John to go back to if it doesn't work out, but he's at his prime years for being in a boyband now.
  20. Chapter 75 -When Zach and Will meet up. "The Scientist" by Coldplay

    Chapter 73

I've always kind of wanted JJ to get involved with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's fashion empire. They do establish a higher end fashion brand in 2006 after dropping out of NYU. It's been established that he knows them, and they gibe well together because there are a lot of similarities between child movie stars and child athlete stars. Isn't Darius in the ROTC at UCLA? I thought he was headed for the military.
  22. Thanks. I feel like JJ is easier because he's a more internal character than Will is. It was fun. "All Too Well" is the JJ/Alex theme and "I Want To Know What Love Is" is the JJ/Carullo theme. LOL Mark once told me that "I Want To Know What Love Is" annoyed him because it was played out everywhere in 1984. LOL

    Chapter 74

No, but it's great for a drama series. LOL
  24. So yeah...I mentioned having a JJ playlist in mind and I thought it would be fun to make one for real. Also did a Will one. Feel free to add song recs of your own here that remind you of the characters. JJ Playlist "Art is Calling for Me" (A Prima Donna song) from The Enchantress "Circus" by Britney Spears "The Fame" by Lady Gaga "Daniel" by Elton John "Drive" by the Cars "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner "Alone" by Heart "Wishin & Hopin'" by Dusty Springfield "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift "Lose Yourself" by Eminem "Disarm" by The Smashing Pumpkins "Last Resort" by Papa Roach "Scar Tissue" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers "You're A God" by Vertical Horizon "New York, New York" by Liza Minelli "What I Did For Love" from a Chorus Line "Only in New York" from Thoroughly Modern Millie "I Started A Joke" by The Bee Gees "The Only Living Boy in New York" by Simon and Garfunkel "I Am A Rock" by Simon and Garfunkel "Style" by Taylor Swift "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel "One" from A Chorus Line And of course... the Will Playlist "A Place for My Head" by Linkin Park "Wouldn't It Be Nice?" by the Beach Boys "Candy Shop" by 50 Cent "Milkshake" by Kelis "Two Lovers" by Mary Wells "Surfer Girl" by The Beach Boys "The Wanderer" by Dion "It Never Rains in Southern California" by Albert Hammond "Til I Collapse" by Eminem "Time To Pretend" by MGMT "Electric Feel" by MGMT "Gimme More" by Britney Spears "Night Moves" by Bob Seger "Candy Store" from Heathers the Musical "Pass That Dutch" by Missy Elliot "Buttons" by the Pussycat Dolls "Glamorous" by Fergie "Flake" by Jack Johnson "With Or Without You" by U2 "Don't Change" by INXS

    Chapter 74

Okay, so basically, this take on Nate Jacobs from Euphoria also explains quite well my thing for Zach. Basically, I'm really attracted to asshole jocks who are either somewhat crazy or absolutely batshit insane. Nice guys don't do much for me unless they're also really quirky, like Gabriel Basso from The Night Agent.
