You could not pay me to re-live the period from the month before my 28th birthday to the winter after my 29th birthday. Ever. The only positive thing about that time was watching the Hunger Games: Catching Fire, as well as mocking 50 Shades of Grey. I was rewarded with a pretty awesome 30's, though. I'd for the most part take my 30's over my 20's, save for the COVID era. Not being able to go out for New Year's while watching a woman sadly sing "Imagine" at Dick's Rocking New Year's Eve wasn't a fun way to ring in 2021. LOL

Somehow, even over 15 years of reading CAP, when Mark first introduced Travis, I thought Will was finally going to have a sweet, simple, drama-free romance with Travis.

My Kendo fancast did a sexy Nike commercial with a strong 1980's vibe: I've been begging Mark for years to cast NAC as something and now there's finally a role for him! LMAO He started on General Hospital, but he's best known for his turn on Lyle Menendez on Ryan Murphy Netflix series about them. NAC definitely has this very magnetic presence to him. Really hoping he lands another great project soon.

Is there a prep school that Wade's family traditionally sends their kids to? I can't remember if Mark assigned them one. I kind of would have thought it'd be a school near D.C. But it would be cool if Mark sends Riley to somewhere surprising, like maybe Interlochen.

Because Will is realistic about the fact that they can't really commit to each other at this stage in their lives. They're both hopeful that in 2008, when Will finishes at Harvard, they can fully commit to each other. Hey, maybe a big wedding at Martha's Vineyard?

I'm posting this here because it went trending on Twitter awhile back and I'm curious if it lines up with Mark's experiences as someone who has taught present-day college boys. @Mark Arbour Do you remember this, and did you like the look?

I got acquainted with Mark in 2006 from the Yahoo group that Adam Phillips had built around his story Cross-Currents. I then began consulting with Mark after he began posting Chronicles of An Academic Predator in the summer of 2008.

It makes sense. He was just meant to be the douchey blond villain in She's All That, not the hot one so he wouldn't have gotten flattering camera angles and lighting.

Given that this is meant to be a racier teen drama and not something on the Disney channel, I would assume most of the cast members are in their early/mid- 20's. Travis being 19 is actually an anomaly in that world, although not unheard of. KJ Apa was 19 when Riverdale started. Which was funny, because his musculature made him look 25. My head cannon is that Kendra is being played by a 30-year old Latina that can absolutely still pass for 16 (think Alexa Demie on Euphoria), Sloane is actually 17/18 (think Mischa Barton), Maya is 20, Chase is 22, and Ethan is a 24-year old former child star who decided to come back to acting after taking time off to attend and graduate from college. (Think Cole Sprouse.) You might like the Summer I Turned Pretty, then, because they all reasonably passed as teenagers that first year. (Lola Tung really was a teenager, I believe.) But yeah, I get it. It will never not be funny that Netflix tried to pass this guy off as a 17-year old:
