I heard about this around 7AM this morning at work. I was greatly shocked and saddened by this news. Like Kurt, I grew up through my teen years watching Steve work with a whole variety of animals. I loved the excitment he carried in everything he did. He will be sadly missed by millions across the world. My thoughts and prayers go to his wife and two children at this difficult time. Dave

I really like the idea. It might help increase member posting a little by giving members a target to reach for their next rank.

You're totally right. But I think they don't see that when they buy. I think its like an impuse, they really want the PC for lets say to get on the internet, so they just buy the cheapest. In the end if it does burn up then yeh, they'll need to spend more. But its the impulse to get on the internet that drives them, say that person waited another 6 months and saved up then they would get a better one, but how many people do you know can wait six months? It sucks, if they sell something then they need to be sure it works properly.

I just posted a story at efiction, its new to you guys but I wrote it back in feb for a valentines challenge at a Yahoo! group. If AOL give you trouble, do what I did.... Start the call by telling the operator the call is being recorded for your security. Then tell them you wish to cancel your membership. It took me about 3 minutes and they never tried the hard sell Take care Davey!

Ive started writing again. Ive had a nasty little dry spell where I couldnt get anything to come out. Ive got part of my fall anthology post done, and a tiny bit of Love never dies. Maybe In the next few days I'll actually finish a chapter! That'd be great Fingers crossed I might have something to post early next week, I'm not sure which story yet, but we'll see I need to say a huge thanks to Kevin (AFF) for not only reading my stories but for the awesome reviews he left last night! Anyway, Im on my lunch from work so i'd better get back, big boss guy on the way today.... Wish me luck hehe Davey x

My DSL went down today. So I called my ISP worked my way through the menus untill I got to the technical help section. I pressed the keys and got the message I was in a queue. Now remember I'm queuing for connection support... I get this message... - We may be able to help you on our website, visit www.....etc. What?!? Umm If I could get the bloody website, I wouldnt be calling! So yeh that pissed me off, then I waited another 35 minutes for my call to be answered. The good part is, the guy that took the call was great. Knew what he was talking about and was really friendly The moral of this story is.... The next time you cant get on the net.... Visit a website for help!
